I'm in SE Wisconsin and we got a snowday as well. One of my friends who lives in Albany, NY also got a snowday. This is such a great start to the winter break. :)

SE WI here too...
We've snowblowed the driveway twice already, and the snow piles at the end of the driveway are now over my head!

DD was thrilled yesterday - they cancelled school buses and her field trip so I declared it a snow day - I wasn't going out walking in that!
I had even prepared by stocking up on "hunker down" snacks & baking supplies. (Oreo pudding cups, clementines, candy cane hot chocolate, candy cane ice cream) Other than DH shovelling (4 times) & telecommuting, we made fudge & peanut brittle, and more sugar cookies.
Tomorrow's storm we are making fresh bread & more cookies. None of which is going to get done until I finish making presents and wrapping today!

We had a snow day yesterday, too. That means one extra day of Christmas vacation. They get a full two weeks off. It wouldn't be so bad except we have nothing planned, and our neighbors come over everyday. I had to make it a rule that they can't come over until 1, because otherwise they'd be here from 9 in the morning until about 7 at night. That means feeding and listening to the bickering. If I wanted four children, I would have given birth to four children.

We are sitting in the airport waiting for our flight into Albany. It's 80 degrees and sunny in Orlando. I don't want to go home to that mess!
