TSM - What Secrets Did You Discover?

Just curious what secrets you discovered after riding TSM? Whether it was riding the attraction over and over at the TSM meet or any other time what did you find that helped your score.

Corey and I rode together and we were able to unlock the large alien in the alien ring toss scene. We basically were able to hit all 9 aliens in the middle of the screen within a few seconds to open the pod which held the large alien. I don't remember how many points the large alien was worth per ring, but I'm sure it was 1000 points or more.

I've actually scene the TSM video tutorial floating around on another thread, but really haven't had a chance to look at it. ;)

In the barn scene, there's a little hen house that sits in the lower right or left hand corner...depending on which screen you're in front of. Shoot the fox and 3 roosters/hens come out and they are worth 1000 points each. You can keep repeating it for as long as you're in front of that scene...I focused on that and it really helped my score! :thumbsup2

On the balloon scene, both players need to work together to pop all the balloons on the clouds on the top of both sides of the scene. If you do it quickly, 2000 point balloons drop from the sky.

I won't be there in May to witness the rematch, so I just had to pass it on to someone who could use it :)

We found that you both had to shoot the last balloon on each cloud at the same time in order to get those 2000 point balloons to drop

I found that I am terrible at the alien ring toss. I wasted more time trying to ring the 1000 point items and probably would have been better off if I had simply concentrated getting as many of the 100 point aliens as possible. After the 5th time through, I did find some 5000 point aliens or spaceships.

Now, I am great (IMHO) at virtual bombardment of pixels with virtual tennis balls, bullets etc. I got that down....and fortunately my torn rotator cuff stopped bothering me after a few days.

I learned that Krissy2803 can accomplish this with no help from me :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 ! Okay they were 500 pt. balloons, but still!

Thanks for these tips!! - my DD (a great DIS Unplugged fan - aka Wishspirit) and I are going on a mom and daughter only trip in September - she's hasn't had the opportunity to ride TSM yet - so we're looking forward to trying it out together!

Well, we weren't able to make to the meet but, we have ridden TSM quite abit. I have kept this one to myself for a while. At the barnyard scene, there is also a rat or two. Shoot the rat and the whole barn will open up with more rats. I can't remember the point value but it is high and very worth getting. I have to ride once to remember all the things to do so while my tip may not be exact, its close enough that you should be able to figure it out. While I can't remember our scores, I haven't gotten less than a beaver rating in a long time and have gotten at least one above that. I can't remember if I've gotten higher than that or if I only got close.
