Hi all,

We are going to Disney World for the first time and need to know where to get the GAC at? I know DL but not DW. Also is it good for the entire stay or do we have to get a new one each day. We will be there for 7 days. Should I bring our DL GAC to show what his needs are so we can get their version of the same stamp?

Thanks for your help

1. You can get a GAC at any Guest Relations locations at the parks! There is always one outside the gates. Or at there is a location that is just inside the turnstiles on the left at each Theme Park.

2 It is good for the entire length of the stay.

3. YES, please bring your old GAC as it will show what accommodations you received at DL and the host or hostess will be able to best assist you in getting those same accommodations at Disneyworld! This is VERY helpful to the Cast Member issuing the GAC. Stamps and types of assistance may or may not differ between the two parks.

If you follow the link in my signature to the disABILITIES FAQs thread, you will find out anything you want to know about GACs (Guest Assistance Cards) in post #6 of that thread.

I just wanted to mention that the Guest Relation location outside of the park always seems less crowded than the one inside. So you might want to try that one first. I know that the one at the MK is on the right side once you get past the security check.

We got ours at DHS - there is a little used kiosk right near the Hollywood Brown Derby. We discovered that after an hour or two at the park, and they weren't busy.
