I realise that this has probably been done before, but seen as there has been a few people who have been a little disheartened with DLRP at the moment, I thought I would start this thread, so we could maybe bring back a little or a lot of the magic that DLRP has to offer.

So here goes, I love it when it snows down mainstreet at christmas.:tinker:

I love going on BTMRR and going under the lake onto its own island in the middle. A detail that would be great in the American parks.

Oh and I love the dragon under the castle.

oh theres too many reasons why I love DLP

but to start with

I love the fact the hotels are within walking distance- that stroll back along the lake at night is lovely compared to having to fight with shuttles or that long trek back to the car park (ferry or monorail/tram) then the drive back

I love that it is just a short flight away and you can just go for a couple of days whenever you need a disney fix

I love absolutley everything about it, waking up to Goofy's voice in the morning, the rush to get to breakfast, feeding the ducks with rolls left over from breakfast as we pass the lake, and then feeling the excitement build as we walk through the village and the DLH gets closer and closer, hearing the park music for the first time in the morning and the race to the first ride of the day.

In the evening it's the atmosphere in the village and the nightcap before going to bed knowing we've got another Disney day ahead of us :woohoo:

I love BTM
I love that you get the characters in the resorts.
I love that it is different to WDW so I get to have two different Disney experences.

oh and the atmosphere and music on Main Street.

I love that the place has so many details, that despite visiting and reading about it numerous times, I am still uncovering layers.

We have the definitive version of almost every e-ticket.

It is American and European at the same time (very European in many ways)

Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show is the most incredible dinner show that I have seen (many around the globe).

I love the feeling that you "are in" a fairytale. You walk around for days not knowing whats hit the news, whats going on at home, no hoovering, ironing, school run, work. You are in this different world full of music and magic. Its a wonderful feeling.
The once upon a dream parade for me.. what a key moment every day

I just love it all :goodvibes and I love the fantastic memories it has given me. I loved it when we took ds on his first trip when he was 2 and he was wary of all the characters until our very last day when we had a character breakfast and he then just loved them all and we spent the rest of that day chasing round the park finding as many as we could and I loved dd meeting Ariel in October and watching Ariel as dd sang the little mermaid theme tune to her ... it was a moment I'll cherish forever. :lovestruc

Believe it or not, I too loved the snow, Small World and the fact the hotels were so close.

Oh, and Anettes does takeaway for when you're just too tired.

I love the feeling of happiness as soon as i step of the train.

I love hearing Kyra squeal with delight when we get our first sight of the castle.

I love seeing Kyra's face light up when she's sees Minnie.

I love going on the ToT in the dark and being spooked by the CM's.

I love knowing that I'm back home.

I love the feelin that im back where i belong :) and just hearing the main street music brings tears to my eyes. I love the music in frontierland (even got them all on my phone) Am obsessed with PM music + ride, and the smell of cowboy cookout. I love it when you first enter the inside queing area of POTC-the heat and smell of chlorine. I love the end music of space mountain. In studios i love cinemagique + the sound of the cars blasting off + screams on RnR coaster. I love disney village at night..x

I love the fact that my sons love it SO much. Last year and this year the trips were a suprise and my youngest (now 7) sobbed his heart out when he realised where we were going - Disney keeps them young, how children SHOULD be - they are both convinced Mickey is real and I love that.

I love seeing how enthralled the children are with the scale of it all. We love the fast and furious rides but who can fail to be enthralled by It's A Small World.

I love, LOVE the music, and the fact we dance around together as a family being silly and not caring who is watching.

The snow on Main Street is magical, but I love the anticipation, the bells and the wind that preceed it :)

And the Candlebration - well who can NOT feel Christmassy and happy watching that - just stunning.

I love all the hard work and imagination that went into planning and making something for the entertainment of ordinary people.
I know its expensive but hopefully most people who want to visit can do it sometime and experience a place made for innocent pleasure.
In a time where crafts are undervalued and beautiful things are generally only for the wealthy, it is a small treasure with its fabulous buildings and lush planting.
The details are so important and so appreciated.:lovestruc
