My husband and I were married last month on the Disney Cruise and we had our honeymoon in Walt Disney World. It was so wonderful! I started going through post trip blues about a week after getting home. I talked to him and we decided that a Anniversary trip needs to be planned.
I talked to my sister, the mother of my favorite (and only niece) and invited her and my Brother in Law to join us.
So far we are going from Nov. 1 - Nov. 8, 2009. It will be a Land and Sea, but booked seperatly!
I am trying to add on two nights in the beginning of the trip so we can go to MNSSHP!

Well we did it...Added two days on.
We (DH & I) are now leaving on October 30th. I asked DS and DBIL but they didn't want to come early. We are going to stay at the All Star Movies for the first two nights, then move to Saratoga Springs for four nights, then do the 3 night cruise. So much Fun! It will be a little private time for just the two of us before the "BIG TRIP" starts.
Now we are planning on hiting Epcot on October 31st followed by the Halloween Party (If I can Get Tickets). Hmmm maybe I can squeeze in a Keys to the Kingdom Tour. So much to think about.
I booked our two nights at the Allstars with the dining plan and 5 day park tickets for $900 this morning. I am hoping a deal comes out between now and then.
Well that is about it for now. I am sure I will be back with updates soon!

Well I guess I should update this....So much has changed!
We are now all going down on Friday Oct. 30 and staying two nights at the All Star Movies. I am a POP gurl for all of my Value resort needs, but I wanted to try something a little differant. Anyone have any reviews on the Movies? Love it? Hate it? It is only two nights so we can do anything for two nights. We are going to do our best to get Halloween Party tickets for OCtober 31st. I know it will be a bit more crowded but oh well!
On Nov. 1st we transfer to.........The Tree House Villas for four nights! I am so excited! We are keeping it a surprise from the guys on the trip! I can not wait. It is going to be go great!
Now I signed up for Tour Guide Mike again....I don't know why....I guess I just really like that he tells you which parks are best on which days.
I keep going back and forth between deluxe dining and regular dining. I think we are going to go with the regular dining just because of the baby. I don't want to over plan!
Of course hours are not out for October and November yet. My Schedule so far is:
Friday: Got to MCO around 5pm. Head to the Magical Express and then to the Allstar Movies. I plan on making reservations for Chef Mickey's for 7:30pm or so. Hopefully we will be done eatiing and can go watch Hallowishes from the observation tower.
Saturday: Sleep in then eat at the counter service in the hotel for breakfast. Around noon head to Epcot. Maybe ride Nemo and figment and a few other tame rides then head to Germany for lunch around 2pm. After we eat head back to the Hotel at change or rest or whatever. Head to the Magic Kingdom around 4:30 - 5:00pm. Get in with our Party Tickets. Enjoy MNSSHP and have dinner at Cosmic Rays or something easy like that.
Sunday: Check out of the Movies and give them our luggage to transfer. Then we will head to the Animal Kingdom. There isn;t much in AK that interest me so I figure Everest of course, the Safari and the Lion King Show (maybe Nemo depending on time). Lunch at Yak and Yeti. I plan on us being done at Animal Kingdom by 3pm at the latest. Then we will take the bus to Saratoga Springs and Check into the TREE HOUSES! We will then check them out and get our bags before heading to the Poly for Dinner at Ohana.
Monday: Epcot all Day with Breakfast with the princesses in Norway. For lunch we will use some snack credits and eat around the world (Drink too). For dinner Pete and I are going to the Yachtsman Steak House and Laura, Brandon and ALyssa are going to the Coral Reef.
Tuesday: Magic Kingdom...YAY!!! We will start bright and early with Breakfast on the Castle. Then hit Fantasyland hard core. Lunch will be couter service, I am thinking Pecos Bills. Then maybe a trip back to the hotel for a nap for Alyssa while Pete and I stroll around and take pictures. Dinner will be at the Crystal Palace. and Wishes of course. Now I will have to switch days around based on the parade, so hopefully Disney likes my plan and has a Parade tonight and not EMH this day!
Wenesday: MGM (you know what park I mean). I am thinking 50's Cafe for lunch and hitting all the stuff we always skip. The little Mermaid, Playhouse Disney, Beauty and the Beast. Laura and Brandon and Alyssa will stay here while Pete and I sneak off for our anniversary Dinner. I am trying to set up private dining at the Grand Floridian. I want to see wishes. Maybe from the marina, maybe a balcony. We will see. I want this to be super special!
Thursday we check out and head to the Disney Cruise. I am hoping to get a town car service so we can get there early. It is only like $20 more then Disney. If not we will take Disney Transportation. We are planning Disney Transportation back to the Airport.

Sounds like a great trip shaping up!
We were in WDW for Halloween 2 years back, we went to DTD but i bet the party will be great fun!
I have actually wanted to check out Movies since we stayed at Music and really thought it was great. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it.

Hi! I found you through Mikkel's PJ. Once I saw you were staying in the treehouse villas, I was sold :thumbsup2 I'll be following along. I'm doing a Land & Sea package at the end of September and added an extra two nights on at ASMo. Also planning on attending MNSSHP! Our trips are very similar ;)

Morning Lisa - I just found this Anniversary Trip Report. As of now we should be down in Disney for our One Year Anniversary also. Our wedding was November 10 but our AP's will expire on November 4 (I think - I have to check). We are hoping for the last week of October and the first week of November also. No cruise for us - just the WDW vacation.
Since we missed each other for our wedding - it would be great to meet for our one year anniversary. I will definately let you know as things get closer. We have no reservations yet but will probably do a week in Disney and a week in my DH's dad house (he lives in Orlando).
We met a few Dis brides when we were down the end of March for my DH's birthday and it is so nice to talk to someone that has either gone through it or is going through it. I still love reliving it but I think my friends are getting tired of hearing me go on and on about it.
Anyway, let's keep each other posted on our plans and maybe we can meet.

Updated Schedule!!!
Of course hours are not out for October and November yet so this could change. My Schedule so far is:
Friday: Get to MCO around 10am! We got cheap flights on Southwest, $69 a piece! Head to the Magical Express and then to the Allstar Movies. We will shop at Downtowwn Disney during the day, maybe go take a nap then I plan on making reservations for Chef Mickey's for 4:30pm or so. Hopefully we will be done eatiing and can go watch Wishes from somewhere on property.....Maybe the Poly Beach.
- I bought our Party Tickets on April 30th.....They were in the system when I called to ask a question and she sold them to me. $270 for 4 tickets...ouch!
Sunday: Check out of the Movies and give them our luggage to transfer to the Tree House Villas. Then we will head to the Animal Kingdom. There isn't much in AK that interest me so I figure Everest of course, the Safari and the Lion King Show (maybe Nemo depending on time). Lunch at Yak and Yeti. Now I will have to switch days around based on the parade, so hopefully Disney likes my plan and has a Parade tonight and not EMH this day!
Wenesday: Disney Hollywood Studios. I am thinking 50's Cafe for lunch and hitting all the stuff we always skip. The little Mermaid, Playhouse Disney, Beauty and the Beast. Laura and Brandon and Alyssa will stay here while Pete and I sneak off for our anniversary Dinner. I am setting up private dining at the Grand Floridian. I want to see wishes. We will eat on the 5th floor balcony, all private. I want this to be super special! I have summitted a list of foods we both like and dislike and the Chef's are creating a menu right now. I should have it by the end of the week then I will place our deposit and it will be all set. EKKKK! Pete is going to be so surprised!
Thursday we check out and head to the Disney Cruise. I found a town car service so we can get there early. It is like $20 less then Disney. It will be a van to make sure all of our luggage fits. I want to be to the port by 10"30 or 11 at the latest! I am so excited about this cruise!
So they are the updated plans.....now we still need air back him (booo!) and to finialize our maeal, but this trip is going to be awesome. I can not wait!

I love your trip plans so far I am working on our disneymoon now, just not sure where to stay, how did you like AKL? I may rent points if a better deal does not come along. I'm considering doing a PD as well!! :thumbsup2
Oh, I found this on the front page of the disboards about the Halloween Party, thought you would find it helpful, if you have not found it already:

Ok well since I am being forced into an update....LOL
I have set up a private dinner for my Dh and I on the night of our anniversary.
It will be on a private balcony of the Grand Floridian with a view of the Castle. We will have a butler to take care of all of our needs. I am so excited. I sent the Chef's a list of like and do not like foods and the created a five course menu just for us. Here is the Menu:
Appetizer to share:
Truffle French Toast with Shrimp & Wild Mushrooms
*** Pretzel Bread served with Soup and Salads***
For Lisa:
Cheddar Cheese Soup
Spinach Salad in Parmesan Bowl with Bacon & Hard Boiled Eggs, and Ranch Dressing
Parmesan Crusted Chicken Breast with Mushroom Veloute (Cream Sauce), Caramelized Onion Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans
For Pete:
French Onion Soup
Field Greens Salad in a Parmesan Bowl with Feta Cheese, Cashews, & Citrus Vinaigrette
NY Strip with Red Wine Sauce, Caramelized Onion Mashed Potatoes, Balsamic Roasted Mushrooms and Asparagus
Special Wishes dessert from bakery & Mini Castle Cake in Cheesecake.
I am so excited about this surprise. It will be so romantic and a great way to Celebrete being married a year. They will serve desert right before WISHES. Ahhhh I can not wait!

No No I am here, just less since the wedding hype has died down! LOL Disney can do anything. The private dining is not cheap at all! $95 a person, $75 for the butler and then Taxes (6%) and Tip(18%).
I just can not imagine how sweet it will be to snuggle up with my honey and watch a private WISHES. It will be great! Plus you only have a 1st anniversary Once!

Getting close to the day we can call to make our ADR's! YAY! I have been thinking about shirts for the Halloween Party! I also want to make Anniversary Shirts. I know what I want, I just can not find it anymore. HMMM!
To hold us over and get a Disney Fix We had a special Date night last Thursday.
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3468/3729660932_1e92aa9f1f_o.jpg
So a week ago I found out that the Baltimore Symphony Orcestra was doing two nights of Disney Music. I thought the nights were Friday and Saturday. Pete said we could get tickets and I was excited. Then I found out it was only Friday night here in Baltimore and I was bummed. I was watching Alyssa on Friday night and there is an arts fest down near the Symphony Hall and I knew it would be messy. Well My sweet husband found out that the BSO was performing the Disney Show at the Strathmore Symphony Hall near DC. He bought us tickets and surprised me!
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2461/3728332774_20c8d7191f.jpg
The Show was wonderful! They started off with a mix of Disney songs, zippity do da, Mickey Mouse March, Cinderella, a few other classics. I was already hooked. They had a hug screen showing movie clips and still drawings. Even inspiration drawings from Mary Poppins. Soon as I saw the Castle and heard the beginning of When you Wish Upon a Star I got teary eyed!
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2676/3727540969_926c9a13cd.jpg
Then they did a Suite of Little Mermaid Songs. Followed by Hercules, Mary Poppins and the Beaty and the Beast. I think Beauty and the Beast was my favorite!
Then it was intermission. We walked around and checked out the venue. Soo nice.
We sat down ready for the 2nd half, but I took a few random pictures before that!

The second half started with Music from Aladdin, which was GREAT! Then a Suite from Mulan and The Hunchback of Notre Dame Suite, the set ended with Lion King. The whole night was wonderful! It is hard to pick my favorite!

I saw a TV commercial for it. Baltimore Symphony Orchestra always has commercials about what they are performing. I can't wait to go see them at Christmas time. It was such fun! Do you have a Symphony Orchestra in your Area? I would check out thier web site if so. This wasn't a traveling show, it was just the BSO perfomance that night. I called to see if they were having it again and they said maybe next summer it was part of the Childrens Summer Concert Seris. LOL
Linda do you have a PTR? Are you all set on what ADR's you are making?

Lisa, thanks for the info. I will have to do a google search to see if anything comes up. No ADR's yet - we are still not sure if we are going in October/November. My DH took alot of time off in March and May to help his dad (he has cancer). He is trying to get that time back as family leave. If he does then we are planning on heading down to Disney. If not, he will not have much time left. I am out of work at the moment but if I get a job I am not sure what time of time off I will be able to get. I will definately let you know if we are heading down. I really want to go to a MNSSHP. We did this quite a few years ago and loved it and we really want to do it again.
