What hotel are two staying at?

I'm almost a little sad that Disneyland will be closing at 8 for most of January. Hopefully that means they're not expecting many people to be there. Usually when I'm there for a 8pm park close, I go watch a movie at AMC.

We'll be staying at the Anaheim Plaza. We've stayed there twice before. It's nothing fancy, of course. But it's cheap and it's only about a 10 minute walk to the parks.

I'm going with my friend. He was saying he wants to stay at the Disneyland hotel, but I'm not sure I want to spend the money on that. So I really have no clue where I want to stay. He's moving down from Washington for a few months and I'm waiting for him to get back to Cali so we can start planning the trip.

It would be cool to stay onsite but we can never afford that. We stay onsite at WDW so that's good enough for me...haha.

As most people know, I LOVE taking photos at Disneyland.

Yeah...it's pretty bad. I just showed them to DH. We had a little laugh about it. We'll make the most of it. Maybe I'll take photos of him in front of each of the walls throughout the parks...haha. Luckily, we've seen the parks looking good before so it's not a huge deal. Sure, I'd rather have pretty pictures, but I'll live. At least the castle isn't covered up (fingers crossed.) We have been there when the castle was covered and that kind of stunk.

Anyway...the photos in my trip report might not be very good.

I miss living 5 miles from Disneyland. But honestly, that's all I miss about living out here. I'm a midwestern girl to the core. Socal living just wasn't for me. (Not to mention we could never have afforded a house out there. And here we built a brand new one over the summer.)

I think Jill is at the LAND right now. :mickeyjum This week has not been good weather-wise. I feel badly for her. Since Thursday it has been ify..cold-ish..rainy..60's..cloudy. :sad1:

I hope despite this unsettling weather, Jill and her family are still able to have a blast. :cool1:

We were there Monday, MLK Day and I had not been in a few weeks and there is sooo much construction going on. HM and SM were both closed in the MK. Main Street is under construction....I wonder why? :confused3
