Solo Trip Week of Feb. 16 Anyone Wish to Hang Out

Hi,

I have lurked on this website in the past for advice regarding previous trips to WDW. I am planning a solo trip to WDW the week of February 16 (President’s Week) and figured I would finally register and see if anyone might wish to meet up for a drink, hang out in the parks, etc.

A little about myself. I’m 33 and live in Washington, DC. I grew up in Anaheim, CA (worked and held an AP at Disneyland while in high school) and have made several enjoyable trips to WDW before (though never solo). I’ll be arriving in Tampa on the morning of Tuesday, February 17 and departing out of Tampa on the afternoon of Monday, February 23. I am a baseball nut and will be visiting a few Spring Training workouts along the way, but other than that my schedule is basically open.

So if others are planning a trip to WDW or are interested in planning a trip, reply to this post or please shoot me a pm.

i will be arriving feb 22 at 6:00 am. my plan is to stay at mk for the day and try to stay for emh. so if you see a man dossing off on a bench it's probably me. I'm trying to see if i could handle a red eye flight from the west coast. i hate to waste a day of flying to wdw.

Justin...not sure when you arrive. I'll be there with my sister Feb. 13-17, leaving at lunchtime on the 17th. Depending on when you get there, you can come meet us for a beverage or some park visiting.

Which teams are you planning to visit? My city doesn't have a team for the first year in pretty much forever this year so I've got to venture out to find another to cheer for.

I'm guessing you are referring to the Indians. It is a shame that Winterhaven no longer has a team. I'm likely visiting the Yankees, Braves, Houston, and Nationals on this trip. Drop me a PM if you want to chat more about baseball, WDW, etc.

How I wish we will have a trip as early as your plan. :sad2: Some of our friends are booked a trip on February but on the first week, they can't still hang out with you.

So I can't PM you yet (apparently I haven't posted enough). But I'm working on it.

But yeah, no more Indians. I'm sure we will survive though. I know I personally won't mind having to drive through the traffic of the game on my way home but it's kinda sad that we won't have them around as well. I know I sure didn't mind when the guys would show up at church. :woohoo:
