View Full Version : How long after calling to book with developer points....

does the reservation get approved and displayed on your account...I booked a week ago Monday with developer points...CM said it would take a few days...This is the sixth day...Should I be worried?

My bookings with Developer Points did not show up on my account at all. I booked the SSR in November and I have the DLH booked for May. I got written confirmation for the trips.

Developer point reservations don't show up on the member website. Depending on your preference when making the ressie, you'll either get an email confirmation or they'll send one via snail mail. Either way it takes 7-14 days.

I would say closer to 14 days. I started trying to book for our June/July trip on Nov 22nd, exactly 7 months out, and it was just today that they final got all the nights (12) after multiple calls. Once I was told that there were 3 people assigned to do DP ressies only and they didn't work on Monday and Tuesday so it is taking longer. Either way I would call back after a week. Especially because when I called to add the last 5 days the woman said she took down all my info and added it to my original request (which still hadn't been processed) but when I called a week later to check because I hadn't recieved anything I was told the days were not added because the woman had not filled out the appropriate paper work. Luckily it worked out but I would suggest calling once a week.

We booked a stay with DP at Saratoga Springs on a Saturday and received the email confirmation the following Sunday...so 8 days. As another poster stated, the reservation will not appear on the website...you have to wait for either the email or the letter.

Hey Guys...I received our mail confirmation...It took 12 days by mail...Now I do not have to worry about calling back (which I was going to do in the morning)...

So thanks again for the information :goodvibes

Developer points are like "bonus" points or "free" points offered as incentives to purchase. I did two add-ons at AKL...I received 100 extra points to use for each purchase for a total of 200 points...You must use the points within one year of the purchase and we could only use them at SSR, Disney Land, or through interval.

I booked with our SSR developer points for April 19-24th and got an email confirmation the same day! i hope that this keeps up!
