My 11 year old is a pretty picky eater. Basically likes Chicken strips or Pasta or Pizza. Will they be able to give him some substitutions on the DDP since they consider him an adult? Will they give him an adult meal but just substitute say chicken strips for rotisserie chicken? I don't think he would want the actual kids meal since it would not be enough food for him. What has been your experience?
TIA

My DS will be 11 also. He is picky about some items not others but I would like to know the answer to this question as well...:confused3

It all depends on the restaurant. Some are more flexible thn others. Best advice is to look at the menu and ask what they can do, but its entirely at there discretion on these kinds of substitutions.

Do look at the menus. Some of the places are able to make substitutions while others are not. My DD 12 is a picky eater and most of the time she just wanted mac and cheese or chicken strips. If these items were on the kids menu most of the places would just give her an adult portion of that item.(way to much)
However it did force her to try new items at other places when her fav's were not avalible. It's funny. ..but she now likes filet mignon and broccollini:rotfl: :rotfl:
