Best Place for TS at Disney Hollywood Studios?

We are traveling with our 2 dd's (2 and 4) and I am trying to get ADR's just to make sure we have a time and place for them to rest and take a break. We plan to spend next Tuesday at DHS and I am not sure which place we should try to eat at ... Suggestions? We are on the Deluxe Dining Plan.

We like Sci-Fi! But there is also 50's Prime Time and maybe the Brown Derby (I have never been but I hear it is good but it is a 2TS restaurant, not sure if you want to go that route)

I didnt care for Sci-Fi. The food was bland. The steak was tough. But the ribs were good. We ate at Hollywood and Vine. It was good. Its buffet too...

When my boys were 3 & 2 (in 2007), we had a great time and meal at Hollywood & Vine! We went at lunch time for the character meal with Jo Jo & Goliath and June and Leo. My DH and I thought it was one of the better buffet meals we've had.

Sci Fi has the absolute worst food in all parks combined. 50s Prime Time is a blast! Ask for Aunt Claire. She's hysterical. And make sure you put your elbows on the table to really upset her!

We really enjoy Hollywood & Vine, but it gets panned on here all the time. Sci-fi we thought was just CS food in a fun environment. Mama Melrose is hit or miss, same with 50's, Brown Derby is probably the biggest waste of a 2 credit restaurant IMO.

Last week we ate at Mama Melrose, Sci Fi, 50's Prime Time and also Hollywood & Vine (breakfast) and loved each and every one of them. I'd have trouble choosing between them, actually. They were all really good and wonderfully entertaining.

We ate at mama melrose last week and really enjoyed it. The food was very tasty and the service was the best we had all trip. Our waitress was so swet. My boys had just bought 2 Bolt stuffed animals and she set up a high chair for them. it made our boys ( 6 & 3) day. We would eat there again, if you do get the fantasmic package. we had great seats for the show.

I will be the dissenter here and say that I do not care for any of the TS places in DHS.Brown Derby was ok, but not for 2 credits on the dp.I like the atmosphere in Sci Fi and prime time, but the food was mediocre.I generally head over to the boardwalk area( a short boat ride from Dhs) and eat over there.

My vote is for fifties prime time cafe.

It is our must do restaurant at DHS.
