In your opinion, which Signature Restaurants are actually worth the 2 TS credits? We are doing the deluxe dining plan in the spring and trying to figure out which Signatures to book.

Thanks!!

We did the deluxe plan and did an early lunch and a late signature each day. Tried several new places and were pleasantly surprised with a few of them. Our favorites are (in no particular order): Jiko, Calif. Grill, Flying Fish, Citrico's, Narcoossee's, Artist Point, Yachtsman Steakhouse.

We were all adults and didn't try any of the character meals, so I can't comment on them.

i haven't used the DDP yet. last month, i dined OOP at both the Yachtsman Steakhouse and The Brown Derby. i thought the Yachtsman was terrific in terms of food & service, though i would think the atmoshpere at Le Cellier would be better. i frankly wasn't that impressed with The Brown Derby, so i would say definitely not worth 2 TS. i think to be worth it, you would want place that scores on food, service, and atmosphere.

I'd say every one of the signature restaurants we've tried has been worth it for one reason or another, and I'm very much looking forward to trying the few we haven't gotten to yet, especially Jiko and Flying Fish, on our next trip.

California Grill has some of the best sushi I've ever had, a wonderful wine list, and a unbelievable view. It became an instant favorite and a can't miss for all of us.

Narcoosees was more for DH & DS, my lobster lovers. The food was wonderful all around, and the almond crusted cheesecake is very possibly the best dessert in all the World. And nothing says Disney magic quite like watching the fireworks and the water parade over a lobster dinner!

Artist Point had the quietest atmosphere, wonderful salmon, and another enjoyable wine list (I love icewines and they had more than one variety, which is fairly unusual even in nice restaurants).

Yachtsman was an excellent meal, but the service was a bit on the slow side and the menu isn't as unique as the others. Whether or not we'll go back is a bit uncertain - DH, the beef lover, votes yes. I'd like to try Flying Fish as an Epcot-area signature next time instead.

Cinderella's Royal Table is the only one we did that we definitely won't do again in the near future. The food was pretty good but not signature quality, and you're really paying the extra credit for the experience. The atmosphere is incomparable, but for us it was a must-do once and not something we're likely to do again until our youngest is old enough to want the magic of eating in the castle with the princesses.

Jiko and Yachtsman are our favorites. We were disappointed with Artist Point.
Happy vacation!

Our favorites, and definitely worth it, are Narcoossee's and Citricos.

Places we have dined that we don't think are worth it include Brown Derby, CRT, and Yachtsman's.

Haven't dined at Cali Grill, Artist's Point, Jiko, or Flying Fish.

As for Brwon Derby, this location used to be excellent but over the years the menu has become more ordinary and the service has slipped. The atmosphere is nice, but all in all not worth two credits. As for Yachtman's, it is an elegant location and the beef is very good (well, except for my expensive Wagyu loin....not so good), but the sides were very disappointing and there isn't much memorable or unique about the place. A meal at Le Cellier, for one credit, blows these away. As for CRT, eating in the castle is neat and something everyone should do once, but at the current price or two credits certainly not more than once.

Fortunately, the good thing about the deluxe plan is you really don't have to worry too much about credits. Three sit downs a day is just too much (trust me, we know, we did it way back when on our honeymoon), so a sit down breakfast or early lunch along with a two TS dinner is easily doable without counting credits.

We've only done three signature dining experiences.

Cinderella's Royal Table: great to experience once. I agree with the PP who said the food is not really worth of 2 TS credits. We had a table by the window overlooking Fantasyland and it was a nice thing to do one time. But I don't know that we'll do it again.

California Grill: I wasn't thrilled with my food or service here. Our server was a snob. The appeal here is more the location, and it is unbeatable. You just can't beat the view.

Narcoossees: by far our favorite of the three. We had wonderful service and fantastic food. And we had a beautiful view of the castle over Seven Seas Lagoon. My filet mignon was prepared perfectly! If we were to choose one to go back to, this one would be it! And I agree with the PP's opinion of the almond-encrusted cheesecake--even my DH was gushing over it!

Our favorite signatures are California Grill, Jiko, Flying Fish, Artists Point and Narcoossees. Not necessarily in that order.

We have eaten at all of the signatures on many occasions. We pay OOP as the dining plan is a better financial deal using it at the 1TS places.

My fav signatures, food and experience wise, are Jiko, Flying Fish and Citricos. My least fav 3 would be Artist Point, Narcoosees and Yachtsman although I don't hate any of these it's just they are not as good IMO.

I think all of them are worth the two credits, with Brown Derby offering the poorest value for money, but still a good dining experience.

My favourite signatures are California Grill, Citricos, Flying Fish and Narcoosees.
