That made me laugh out loud! Yeah- I can spend plenty of that at Disney- just ask my husband! He cringes when I get anywhere near the Disney Store here in town.

A very good pair of tennis shoes!!!! We just got back last Friday:sad1: ! I would get the best pair you can afford!! It is worth it. We walked about 8-10miles a day. Also don't forget you fat sharpies for the characters to sign your book with. One tip... I got a cheep heavy duty thick photo matte to have them sign and the characters seemed to like it. Minnie kissed it and Baloo was giving me the thumbs up to it.
Good Luck and Have fun!!

My old last minute travel checklist used to consist of:
1. money
2. passport (and/or driver's license/ID depending on location)
3. tickets
I figured if I had those three things I could get where I was going and buy anything critical that I'd forgotten.
Now instead of my little mental list I have a big spreadsheet.:confused3
Back to topic: what else might you need? Princess outfit(s), little snack(s), oops forgot to see if you listed this one ... gum if you chew it, bathing suit(s) just in case. Insurance cards (probably already with the money and ID's though.)

hmmmm
Remind the kids what to do in case they get lost :goodvibes
Make sure you have plans for any layover airports in case of delays ;)
Double check with any pet sitters :thumbsup2
Leave emergency contact information with whomever receives it in your case
:cloud9:
Make sure you have extra changes of clothes in carry-on just in case of major delays. And 1 warm weather outfit to change into in the potty once you get to MCO.:laundy:
This is great!! Combining everything, you guys are giving me a great checklist. I would have never thought about a little flashlight and glowie necklaces. What great ideas! You also reminded me of a couple of others I also already took care of specifically thanks to info and tips on the Disboards:
11. Purchased reminderband bracelets with cell phone numbers and Mom/Dad stamped on them to put on kid's wrist so if she gets lost the first person who finds her will know how to reach us.
12. Packed Princess outfits avoiding the major fit that would have happened if she didn't have hers and lots of other kids did.

list of what is in your luggage in case it gets lost. Remember to take a picture every morning when you leave the room so you will remember what your children will be wearing...If you have ressies, be sure to take your ressie # with you...you never know when you may need it. sunglasses, advil, motrin, tylenol, single pack of gatorade or crystal light..baggies to put either extra desserts in or to keep camera dry...clothes pins to pull curtains together in room...good luck and have a Magical Time:)

The number 1 item I learned from the DIS Boards and COULD NOT get along without -- a clear, over-the-door shoe organizer for all of your toiletries, brushes, medications, pins, etc. We stayed at the ASMo where counter space is limited and this was the one item that made a huge difference.

Here's an interesting tip our physician gave us not just for Disney, but for anytime you fly (assuming you are flying to Orlando):
Bring some vasoline and q-tips with you on the plane. Dip the q-tip into the vasoline and gently coat your nasal passages with the q-tip. This will moisten your nasal passages and may help prevent sinus infections that can occur during air travel. Have fun on your trip!

we just got back from WDW 2 weeks ago and thanks to my fellow disers packed everything we might need and it came in handy. cold meds, hand sani, autograph books with retractable sharpie, little gifts, etc. what did i forget? princess dresses (didn't think my dd's would want to wear them) so daddy ran down to walmart bought 2 for 40. i packed dayquil, motrin, tums etc...what happened? we came down with somethig trrible and needed Nyquil! DH had to go to hess to buy some! $8 for a small pkg! read abt the weather in FL but thght "hmmmm surely it woldn't rain in DEC tht must be for the summer folks!" but rain it did. paid dearly for the ponchos and umbrella. so to sum it up if you take anything take
1.ponchos
2. nyquil,dayquil,motrin (that's all you really need)
3. bathing suits (i didn't think it would be warm enough but it was)
