There are a lot of questions about pool temperatures, especially in the winter months. I thought it might be helpful to have a thread where people can report on them, either with actual measurements or subjective comments.
I brought an inexpensive pool thermometer with us this trip to put in our Owner's Locker. I used it yesterday to test the temperature at both pools and the villa's hot tub. Here are the readings I got:
Wed Dec 10, 2008:
Main (WL) pool: 84 degrees
Villas pool: 83 degrees
Villas hot tub: 101 degrees
I didn't test the hot tubs at the main pool because they were so crowded I couldn't get in either one!
The air temperature yesterday was 80-ish degrees. The water felt a bit cool when you first got in but was perfect once you got in fully and started swimming around.
