Hello Digi Scrappers! Here is your challenge for week #35. I don't care what your subject matter is (other than being somehow Disney related). But here is what you need to include in your LO:
4 to 5 photos, one being larger and set apart; the others lined up. They can be straight or tilted, your choice.
the large photo must be framed
the smaller photos must be matted
have an element cluster somewhere
at least one ribbon or trim
a title (either alpha or font)
at least 3 papers (including your background paper)
add some bling
and a bit of journaling, however little or much you wish
And for good measure, a Hidden Mickey!
Here is the LO that I did of Jingles, the lead horse on King Arthur's Carousel at Disneyland.

Kits used: Sprite by Britt-ish Designs and Erica Zane; Sunshine Sweets & Glitzy frames, both by Britt-ish Designs. Font: Cool Dots
There will be winner(s), but I haven't gotten that far yet. I still need to work on a prize, etc. Once something is figured out I'll post an update here. And I'll try not to be too AWOL - life has just gotten crazy and crazier as of yesterday.
Anyway, have fun, and I can't wait to see what ya'll come up with. Happy Scrappin'!
Sounds like a fun challenge. I'll have to put my thinking cap on so I can work on this later.

that's it?! Come on I thought it was going to be a challenge!
LOL
:rotfl2:
Okay, for stepping away from this for a couple months, I am going to be jumping back in here! Thanks for the great and inspiring challenge! I will be donning my thinking cap here...
And I need to get photoshop to my laptop so I can really get rolling :)

that's it?! Come on I thought it was going to be a challenge!
LOL
:rotfl2:
 Oh, you're funny. ;) I thought that I'd make it easy on everyone since there may be something coming up around the corner that's taking everyone's attention... :santa:
Seriously, I really think the biggest challenge was coming up with something - and creating a LO - all within an hour!!! We've been in the midst of getting my son onto an IEP (which now needs to be completed by next Friday!!), and that's been taking all of my emotional energy. So, if I don't comment on everyone's LOs right away - I promise that I will before the challenge is over! It's just so much fun to see what people come up with.
Now, it's time to head to the post office, then to pick up my contacts, then to Bible study, followed by a trip to the fabric store, the library, then home to start sewing on my DD's Santa Lucia gown until my two darlings come home from school so we can go get haircuts, then dinner, then choir for me (I'm skipping out on a Christmas party since I somehow don't seem to have the time to fit it in), then I'll come home and collapse into bed. All that and hoping that I don't get a call from the school for a meeting. :faint: Whew!
Time to stop whining and get moving... :car:

Oh I feel like we're living the same life, although I am not starting an IEP, rather trying to maintain steps to a 504 and I have all but given up with the process!!! But the drama (this time) has been resolved. It's ongoing learning!
Good luck!
And remember to breathe and enjoy the day :)
Got my layout done. Good thing, too. My baby boy turns 4 today and the rest of the week is going to be crazy busy.

Hope I'm not too late! Busy time of the year! I did a 2-pager because I didn't like my journaling on the first page. I hope that's ok. If I keep doing these challenges, I'll have my cruise scrapbook finished in about 400 weeks! Gotta keep on truckin'. Here's my spread:

Back to add comments..
QuiltyMom Thanks for the challenge; love the horses the sparkle is really pulled from the pictures with your layout.
Robin Just so cute, love the small photo arrangement and title. Say Happy Birthday to Ian for us..
Briarrose You are going have to tell us where you Mickey is. I think I see it but not sure. Love the richness of the layout, the colors and textures are perfect.
Fran Love all the ears and the border arrangement.
Susan Great Rock n Roller Coaster layout, really well done.
Kim Yummy - almost makes my teeth hurt. Love the Mickey cookie.
lvdisney You've really captured the moments. Great pictures and really complimented in the layout.
Christy I don't think I'll ever run out of Disney pics, I have digital ones going back to 2003 and printed ones before that. I'm planning on spending my retirement years scrapping. Guess there are a few advantages to being hopelessly behind.
Melissa Adorable; love how you captured the feel of Minnie's place.
Pam How fun, you can even see the differences in the 2 houses. Well done on the details.

Hey everyone,
I'm not ignoring you! It's just been a crazy week. I'll try to get comments posted and a winner announced by the end of the day. And the LOs look great! I'm looking forward to finding those hidden Mickeys.
And I'm sorry that I don't have a prize lined up. I feel bad. I promise to be a better hostess the next time around!

Okay - the kids are in bed so I finally have the chance to leave comments! We were up last night (morning?) until 12:30 am getting DS to finish his homework. He had about 3 weeks worth of work to complete. LONG story, but I'm beat!
Thanks, everyone, for playing. I know that this was a crazy week for a lot of people. It's always fun to see what people have created!
Robin - the first thing I thought of was what fun papers! And the pic of your little one is enough to melt hearts all over the world. What a cutie! The sparkly frame really brings your eye there, too. And I love your hidden mickey! Did you create that border?
BriarRose - Umm, is the circular background element Mickey's ear????? Geesh, you got me on the hidden Mickey. OOhh - I just found it! You're a sneaky one! What rich colors you used. And I love that frame!
Fran - VERY cool page! Those dream ears are a real treat, aren't they? I couldn't get my DS to put them one for one photo, even now! The pics are great, especially the last one. You're lucky to get a shot. And the colors of the kit go so well with the pics, too. The border is fun.
Susan - Your element cluster is wonderful. I'm still learning how to do those well. I love your color choices - they go well with the night time shots. And I love the expressions of your kids in the pic. That is one of my favorite rides, too!
KSWM - First, YUM! Your cookie looks like a fuzzy bear wearing sunglasses. And your gingermickey element is a hoot. Great job creating that! I almost missed your hidden Mickey, too. Sneaky. It's a very fun LO.
lvDisney - A two-pager is always fine! You did a fine job. I may have to scraplift it in anticipation of our upcoming cruise, if you don't mind. You can really feel the anticipation of the coming trip in your kid's faces, so great choices there. I'd be bouncing off the walls if I were there! And I love the kit - your LO is very nice!
Yzer - I adore Minnie's house, too. I just resigned myself to the fact that I have "instant new family members" in my pics. I like the large pic of the house with the titling. Very creative, as usual.
Janette - Oh, my! The kitchen sink, huh? What a fun LO with all of the bright colors and elements. And I adore the "going, going, gone" bit. What great memories your DD will have of that birthday! Oh, and I like the way you snuck in your hidden Mickey, too.
Pooh - I love it! You and Melissa were on the same page for this one, especially since you featured one from each coast. you did a fantastic job of matching your papers & elements to the colors of the house. And I wasn't expecting to see the hidden Mickey where it was!
Christy - I can't wait to see your new photos from Disneyland! (I'm so jealous...)
And the winner is ...
This was a tough one to decide...

And thank you, Melissa, for hosting next week's challenge!
