It wasn't bad weather it was *really* bad!

We just got back from a week at WDW and had we listened to all of the November podcasts I would have known about the live recording at the Swan last week. :badpc:

Anyway, I am just now listening to the Dec. 3rd show and had to laugh when Kevin mentioned that the weather was bad at DAK on 11/30. We were there that day and it was freakishly bad. We've been rained on before but nothing before was ever that bad. The rain was almost sideways and felt like it was the size of quarters. We spent five minutes too long in the RFC store and got slammed with it. We had parkas yet still got soaked. My DS3 was carried by my DH from the tram to the car so he was the driest. I put my DS7 under my parka as we walked from the tram to the car and he still ended up soaked.

This picture doesn't even begin to really show how bad it was since we were still in the RFC. I didn't dare pull out the camera to get a good picture but trust me it was nasty.

Despite me telling the boys that it was Disney rain and it is better to be rained on at WDW than at home neither was buying it. :)

awwhhh he is one wet little boy.... Did you remind him that a soaking wet rainy day at WDW is better than no days at WDW.. Poor thing.

OMG - we flew in on Nov 30. We were late leaving Richmond, then our direct flight that was supposed to be 1.5 hours turned into almost 3 as we had to go around a lot of storms.

My poor cousin was green when we got off the plane. We walked into the terminal and our gate was next to a hot dog stand, that did it. She got sick shortly thereafter.

Thank goodness going home on Friday it was much better, smooth as silk.

Because of the rain, we were out of alot of MVMCP.

My favorite show was canceled, twas the night......, after the hippos song. I dont get it. It was raining when it started and they went on, but it stoped, and so did the show.due to " unforsene circumstances" bull, they have their own radar. sry. mini rant, i was worse when they said it on the announcement. After waiting in the rain for 25 min, i wanted a show!


But it didnt put a "damper" on a great night! lol awefull pun

We arrived on that day and waited out the storm in the POR food court. It was a monsoon!!
