Our tenth anniversary is coming up in june and we want to do a disney trip by ourselves. We are going on a family trip in march so we aren't as concerned with doing a lot of rides... we just love being there and really enjoy eating out. We like busy vacations but don't want to go over board either. We own our own company so every day that we are go is a day we don't bill for and I am hesitant to leave the kids for 9 days with travel.

Here are my options:

Option 1
4 nights at contemporary (something we can never afford to do with the kids)
Platinum Plan & tickets
$2875 (w/code)
We would do La Noumba, order room service and do a couple of 2 ts, go to the spa, take the illuminations cruise, & enjoy reserved fireworks viewing all included.

Option 2
5 nights at Carribean Beach w/ king bed
Deluxe Plan & tickets
$2104 (w7for3)

Option 3
5 nights at Movies
Deluxe & Tickets
$1835

If option no. 1 is something that you don't think you'll ever be able to do again, you should do it. But I love all of the moderate resorts and I think by picking option 2 you would have more money to spend on nice dinners or a special carriage ride at the POR resort or something like that that will be special and memorable for the two of you.

Good luck. I am sure you will have fun no matter what. And don't worry about the kids- I used to hate when my parents left us to go on trips and I was so jealous, but now I see that they needed that time away from us as a little break :)

I lean toward option number 1 because of the 25% discount. That probably won't come around again and we would never do platinum unless we got such a great deal!
