Bass fishing game for Wii with fishing rod

I just saw an ad for a bass fishing game that comes with a fishing rod controller. A quick google search showed the review were not great for the game itself. But Im wondering if this added fishing rod controller adds a new dimension? Anyone?

Sorry, not sure yet...it's wrapped and under the tree for dh! I do think there are a couple of dis member that already have it though! :thumbsup2 (btw, i saw some good reviews for it...Rapala Fishing Frenzy that is)

Matt and I have an older one for the Wii, can't remember the name.... but it is fun, he loves the fishing rod, I have seen him fishing with it, without the Wii. It is pretty cool, but did get a little repetitive after a while...

I've played a fishing game on wii but it wasn't the bass fishing one. While I don't like the attatchments for tennis etc., I think it would be better to have the for the fishing and pool games due to how the controller works. This may not be much help but this is the info I have..

I was looking at the fishing one just yesterday but trying to decide i have a fishing game with a fishing rod controler for playstation 2 loved that game so maybe i'll try the wii one anyone know of any other good games i just got my system for my birthday yeah 40 + and still playing with games

Oh, I forgot to say that I liked the fishing games. Fishing and pool games are next on my list. They had moved up to first until Guitar Hero World Tour came out.

What kind of games do you like to play Jeff? We enjoy all of the Wii Sports and Wii Play games. Dh and I enjoy playing golf so I'm also getting him the new Tiger Woods golf game too. He said he tried it out at Game Stop and it was pretty cool. We got the kids Mario Kart (thanks Nicole! ;) )....and picked up two wheel controllers for that game. We bought Animal Crossing because we use to enjoy playing that on the Gamecube, but the bad thing is that it's too much like the old game (only cool thing is that you can change your character to your Mii). Bud and I like Game Party because it has darts and table shuffle board...so that one is fun if you like to play games like that with your dw or friends! :thumbsup2 We haven't bought any Link games for the Wii yet...but those are oldie but goodies if you like that type of game! (and if your a rocker Jeff, hehe...Rock Band 2 was just released for Wii if you can still find them)

Guitar Hero is a great game, as is Mario Kart.
I did but Rock band for xmas for the kids too.
