What exactly does this mean for DVC owners?

I am not familiar with trading out and wondering if this is a good thing/not so godd thing.

At this point there are no details about how different the RCI affiliation will be from the former relationship with II. All comments thus far have been speculative until details are released. Certainly most of the available resorts will be different, but we don't know about point charts, short stays, availability, ease of making reservations, access to "last minute" deals, etc.
