Amex White Glove Treatment Changed?

Sorry if this has already been discussed or belongs on another DIS board...

When checking in and paying for a WDW Resort stay with the American Express card, do you now get a pin lanyard instead of the forgettable fanny pack? Any other changes to this benefit?

We got the lanyards. I think it is just the new thing they are doing.
CM said everyone seemed to have enough fannypacks ;)
Two lanyards per room.I believe (that's what we got).

Just to add my 2 cents worth.... We just went a month ago and received 2 lanyards with pins at check-in (and it worked out very well for us, we were able to give both of our children their own!!). They are a welcomed change from the fanny packs.
