1st timer with alot of questions

Hello all i have been reading and reading from this board and it has been so helpful. I do have a couple of questions.
#1. Do they let you take a cooler on with you?
#2. Do they allow you to take beer, wine soda ect. on
board with you or do you kinda have to pack it away
and hide it?
#3. How dress up do people get for dinner? What about
the children. (i have ds11 and dd 7)
#4 i am staying on deck 7 room 7503 has anyone stayed
been on deck 7? How is it. i am in cat. 10.
#5 is there a big differecne between cat 9 and cat 10? i
am on a waiting list to move to cat. 9 .
#6 could anyone tell me about the tea with Wendy it is
all my dd is talking about along with a slumber party?
Anything else i should know??? thanks !

Hi and welcome!

#1- Yes- we always have taken a soft side rolling cooler with us loaded with soda and liquor. We have seen people carry on a suitcase of beer!

#2- We always dress for dinner. DCL asks that you do and I feel that as a guest of DCL I should horor their request. They ask that no jeans or shorts be worn into the dining areas.

#3 We always stay on deck 5 but my SIL is staying on deck 7. I am just so happy to be anywhere as long as I am on the ship! If they had steerage- I would be there:D

#4- Cat 10 is a deluxe INSIDE Cat 9 is a deluxe OUTSIDE room. An outside room has a huge porthole on the back wall.

#5- To go to Tea with Wendy you need to read the Navigator and make sure that you are where the tickets are given out.
