First impressions

We are shortly going home to Boardwalk, however, My parents arrived there yesterday. I have been telling them that all the carpets had been replaced on the Villa side as I was sure that I had read this in correspondence. Is it true or not or have they been unlucky on the third floor?

I know they said they were replacing the hallway carpets. Not sure about the carpet in the units. Do they have a problem?

It appears that the hallway carpets have not been replaced on the third floor or perhaps my parents are mistaken

We stayed on the third floor in December on the standard view side and they were new. They replaced the old "boardwalk wood" pattern with a floral design. If you look closely, you can see wet child footprints in the design.

There a lot of hidden Mickeys in the floral pattern, look carefully at the flowers in the carpet.

This is especially a fun thing to do if you have a long walk to your room. :bounce:

The hallway carpets were replaced when we were there in Dec. We also stayed on the 3rd floor. I like the new carpets but I miss the boardwalk pattern.

I always thought the "boardwalk" carpet was a great touch. Maybe they'll bring something similar back in the future.
