I'm not; no TSM or cruise. And we just had to cancel our 7/4 deal for my birthday in January. :sad1: At least there will be podcasts covering them to look forward to (well, not covering my birthday, lol).

However MF/TSM were never on my planning radar so I don't feel bad about missing it. I've got so much to do for Christmas (and I live Christmas!) that I'm actually glad I don't have to plan a trip somewhere. :santa:

I was listening to the Podcast Cruise podcast wondering if DCL would notice that a 35 week preggers lady was wandering around on the ship, stuffing her face from the special Palo brunch..... I am still holding on to my reservation for it until the last minute....not ready to part with it yet!!

I was listening to the Podcast Cruise podcast wondering if DCL would notice that a 35 week preggers lady was wandering around on the ship, stuffing her face from the special Palo brunch..... I am still holding on to my reservation for it until the last minute....not ready to part with it yet!!

Woo! Congrats! We're quite close in weeks too. :) I think a cruise would be perfect for a 35 week + pregnant woman! Although, the two of us together would probably eat out the entire buffet! :rotfl:

Ok, I am so glad that there are a bunch of other not going too! I can't do the TSMM b/c it's too close to our Christmas trip. So, I really can't cry about that, but I really wish I could be there. As for the cruise, it's during the WORST time for me as a teacher as it's our state wide testing. I wouldn't be able to take off anyway, but I couldn't even beg for unpaid time if I won the cruise. Oh well, at least DS didn't win it when he picked a number!:rotfl2:

on the bright side, my sister made it through her surgery last week at Hopkins (she flew to baltimore for the surgery)....she'll be there about another week and then she'll head back to detroit to start her chemo....

she can definitely use all the prayers....

this is her fourth battle with cancer in 5 years....

but she's a fighter....
and she's already proved every statistic completely wrong....she's outlived every prognosis by a mile...

so if anyone you know is diagnosed with cancer, don't believe the statistics....every person is different....no matter what they stay in the medical books, no matter how negative the prognosis, it doesn't mean a thing...

anyway....sorry for hijacking the thread..

i won't be at TSMM, but i'll be thinking of everyone there and i sure hope they have a super fantastic time....and with perfect weather.... :goodvibes
