So even if we attempt to be the first off the ship at Castaway Cay our chances are now slimmer? Are they using these character stickers at Castaway Cay also? If we arent doing a Disney excursion we get stickers? What ports are these used in? Only on Western Carib? or new idea for Eastern also? Details please

On the 3/23 Magic, they gave the same sticker to each person in the group . The sticker just kept you together until you got off the ship to the person in charge of the excursion. No sticker when going to Castaway Cay.

So everyone gets a fair chance? I assumed everyone in your "party" would get the same sticker. I guess at the other ports it wouldnt matter who got to what store before the other person-lol

Just wondering if we could expect the stickers for the 4 day Wonder cruise when we arrive in Nassau?

Hi,
You get a sticker if you are doing an excursion on an Island other than Castaway Cay to keep the excursion groups together - this was on the Eastern trip on Mar. 30th

For example. on St. Martin DD10 & I got a "tinkerbell" sticker along with all the other people joining us on the French Riviera Beach Excursion, but DH who went scuba diving got a "peter pan" sticker. We found a "sticker" in the Trunk Bay Snorkling area just floating around - they may not last your whole day.

Hope this helps

When and where do you get the stickers? Is it a first come/first serve basis? Why would this be a necessity? We have never had any problems except at CC with lines.

Stickers are for excursion groups only. If you get off at the port by yourself you do not need a sticker. The sticker is used for Id's for the excursion groups. Kathy

You also only need them to get off the boat to keep your excursion together, after that you can take it off,you do not need to wear it the whole day. What happened last week with us was w were doing the Lucayan Bach Day and we all met in WaveBands, the rep checked our photo ID and then gave us the sticker so on the way off the boat they did not check photo ID again since that sticker meant it was checked already and it was also used to keep your excursion together once you exited the boat.

GREAT! That makes so much more sense which, of course, makes me much happier:)
I guess when I read I misunderstood and thought before ANYONE could get off the ship you had to have a sticker. Therefore making me wait until my sticker was called to get off.
Thanks for clearing that up (at least for my dim witted brain!)

I think the confusion is coming from the recent post from the first Western Cruise. In that post it was mentioned that cruisers NOT doing DCL excursions had to get a sticker in the Walt Disney Theater and then wait until that sticker was called over the PA system before they could get off.

Hopefully this will be cleared up when the Western Cruise is over. I'd also be interested in knowing if this is something new they are doing on both itineraries or just for the Western.
