Paris Hilton wants to play Tinkerbell - not her pet Chihuahua, but the famed fairy from "Peter Pan."

A source tells us the celebutard is lobbying for the title role in Disney's live-action version of "Tinkerbell," in which the pixie finally gets a chance at life as a real girl. "Paris has worked on her acting chops lately and showed some comedy prowess in her YouTube spoof of running for president," our insider said. "Disney suits saw it and think she may be developing some comedic-actress potential."

No Paris fan here either but think about it...She actually does look quite Tinkerbell-ish doesn't she? The personality of Tink wouldn't be much of a stretch, even for a no talent.

But still the stigma attached to this ... I don't know what to call her (LOL), is quite evident.

I personally doubt the seriousness of any of this.

They way I see it is that Hilton hasn't been in the news for a few weeks, so she decided to stir things up a bit with this.

Sure those I've mentioned have a bit more talent than Paris has shown, but only a bit.:lmao: A very little bit.

Image is only that and Disney could 'PR' Paris Hilton into Mary Poppins if they desired (and there was enough money in it).

For the record, I don't believe this rumor for a minute but as I stated earlier, she really does look a lot like Tinkerbelle, IMO.

Disney ruined Tinkerbell for me when they released that abomination they called a movie. Paris as Tink would be a step up, in my opinion.

Think about it: In "Tinkerbell," Tink has lost ALL of her sass that we grew to love as Peter Pan's friend. She looks, and sounds, like Barbie. I hate Barbie. She's so blah, much like this newly animated Tinkerbell. Paris would sure give Tink her sass back.

Not that Im a Paris fan, I just really really hated the new Tinkerbell movie. Completely ruined one of my favorite characters.
