I was hoping to book the afternoon/evening program at Discovery Cove this year...a little cheaper and even for DC my kids have a hard time getting out of bed early to rush over there.
I don't see it on their website anymore, does anyone know - is it gone?

I thought the Twilight Discovery was only offered until September. Maybe they took it down until next year. I was on the site yesterday and still saw it, though.

I was talking to a worker there when I was there on Thanksgiving and asked the same question. The Twilight program is only during the summer. Having been there recently, it was really too cold to be there past 4:00 during the winter season!

Right I'm planning for next July but since they are taking regular day bookings I figured it would be available for booking as well. I didn't see it on the site yesterday - maybe I'm not looking in the right place? :confused3 Will look again, thanks :)
Edited to add: nope, still don't see it, only an evening program listed for special groups. Perhaps I am planning to far in advance.

I would call them or email them directly. They are very helpful. It is pretty far in advance to book, especially since I get the impression that the Twilight is not as popular as the regular one.

Ok I emailed today. I was right unfortunately. The Twilight experience has been discontinued.

I heard this from a manager at DC, not sure if it is THE reason for the discontinuation, but evening thunderstorms were lasting longer than expected and ruined most of the nights. With unpredictable weather they didn't want to chance it playing out as it did this past summer. I guess most of the guests had to cram into the Laguna Grill area while DC figured out how to entertain with music and food.

Are you still planning on going to Discovery Cove? I went in October and spent the day, it was a great experience! We went early and enjoyed everything the park has to offer. I have never done the Twilight but the park during the day is great!

Are you still planning on going to Discovery Cove?
Yes we are...it's the only reason my DS will go to Orlando (loves animals, bored by Disney characters). Discovery Cove is his favorite place in the world.
This will be our third time and I was looking to change it up a little (and save some $$$)
