I am looking for a creamy peanut butter fudge recipe that taste just like the filling from the buckeye candy. I know that it doesn't have chocolate in it and that it doesn't have pieces of peanuts as well.

If anyone has a recipe to share that would be great! TIA!

Here's one. You usually can't go wrong with an Alton Brown (Good Eats) recipe!

Peanut Butter Fudge (from foodnetwork.com)

1 cup butter, plus more for greasing pan
1 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 pound powdered sugar

-Microwave butter and peanut butter for 2 minutes on high. Stir and microwave on high for 2 more minutes. Add vanilla and powdered sugar to peanut butter mixture and stir to combine with a wooden spoon.

-Pour into a buttered 8 by 8-inch pan lined with waxed paper. Place a second piece of waxed paper on the surface of the fudge and refrigerate until cool. Cut into 1-inch pieces and store in an airtight container for up to a week.

Thank you so much! That sounds like just what I was looking for! The only recipes I found were using marshmallow cream and I didn't want to use those because the filling from the Buckeyes have no marshmallow in them!

I know I'm a little late jumping into this discussion, however, I just read one this week on another thread. I'm thinking the one about needing something for a work potluck. I have not tried it yet, hope to this weekend. Anyway, I can't remember who posted it, but here is what I copied to my recipe list, in the OP's original words...

World's Easiest Peanut Butter Fudge....(and tastes great too!)

1 regular size container white cake frosting
1 regular size jar of peanut butter

Spoon contents of each container into a microwave safe large bowl. Microwave in 30 second increments until the mixture can be thoroughly mixed (it takes 2 - 30 second increments in my microwave) After mixing completely pour into a Pam sprayed glass 9X9-inch pan. Will harden completely in the refrigerator.

This is VERY good, and I was skeptical.....

I made the white frosting and peanut butter one last night and was so surprise on how well it turned out.
I actually did 2 cans of regular white frosting and 2 C. of peanut butter in the microwave.
Then pour it into small glass cake pan and cooled in refrigerator. It turned out sooo good.
