This is my first pre-trip report. I've enjoyed reading everyone's PTR and TR that I wanted to contribute my own!
I will try my best to add everything I can, but since I'm a 'new' DISer, I can't do much yet. (I put new in quotation marks because I used to spend my life on the DIS about 4-5 years ago. Well, since then, I can't remember my old DIS name, so I had to start over!)
The Cast
Me- Lilo- I'm 29, but will be celebrating my birthday just 3 days before we leave. This trip is DH's birthday present!!! (more about awesome Dh later!) I've loved Disney as long as I can remember. When I was 13, my parents took me on my first WDW trip! I fell in love- with Disney and especially with animation! I was going to be an animator! I studied Disney and drew Disney for years. When I turned 16, I was dieing to work at the Disney Store at my neighborhood mall. Well, you had to be 18. The second I turned 18, I was there with my application in hand. I worked on and off for the Disney Store for 6 years (1 year in high school and 5 in college). I loved it, but I was spending my entire paycheck at the store. OOPS! My Disney obsession wore off as I changed jobs and got married. Now, it is back with the planning of this trip!
DH-Stitch- He is 31 and a big kid! He has never been to Disney. He is new to all of this. I think he thinks WDW is just for kids; it isn't really a place for adults. Well, I plan to show him a thing or two! He has been working for a year as to what special thing we could do for my 30th birthday. He finally suggested a trip to WDW. When I breathlessly said yes, he told me to take over and plan it! (Smart DH knows I LOVE trip planning!) Now, DH thinks I'm strange when I get giddy over WDW and our plans, but he is happy that I am happy!

sorry the pic isn't working
We met at church. We dated for a while, and then were married in March 2006. We have had our shares of ups and downs, but we always manage to get through!
As I've said, this is DH's first trip, and my fourth! This is my first trip at Christmas time. I can't wait to see all the decorations!
I'm looking forward to thie PTR and the TR following my trip!:santa:

So DH has offered to take me to Disney World for my 30th birthday! Yea!!! Now came the hassle of the plan. Well, we decided, since I work for an elementary school (no, not as a teacher- tried and failed- -God bless those than can teach! I work as a tech support! Each classroom has 7 computers, so I am here to keep them running!) that we had to go around Thanksgiving since I have some days off then.
I started to plan. Well, as I planned online, options kept disappearings- flights, hotel days, etc. I didn't know what to do, so I called Disney travel. As I was on the phone straightening things out, flights continued to disappear. The great CM on the other end worked tirelessly with me for a long time trying to get everything right. Finally, we decided we had to book if we wanted any hope at all!
Finally, with the great CM's help, I booked our trip:
We will leave Dallas at 4:45 on Tuesday, November 25 and arrive at Orlando around 8:00pm Florida time (7:00pm Dallas time). We will take the Magical Express to Coronado Springs Resort which we will call home for the next six nights. We have six day park hopper tickets. We will be leaving Monday, December 1 at 3:15 and arrive in Dallas around 5:00 (dallas time).
After the major things (lodging, tickets, and airfare) were booked, it was time for me to do my magic:
ADRs
Itinerary
To MVMCP or not to MVMCP?
Things that will make DH happy at the world
What to pack
Photolist
etc, etc, etc. . .
Stay tuned! :goodvibes

I last left you with the long list of things I had to do now that our big stuff was booked.
DH Stitch heard about Marrakesh and wanted to eat there, so a definate ADR. I asked DH Stitch which character he wanted to see. Well, he doesn't know them well, so he just picked one: Pluto. Ok, great. I looked at all the character dinning that had Pluto and found O'Hannas! Great, it has Pluto and Mickey and Lilo and Stitch! Perfect!!!! I love Mickey and Lilo and Stitch!!!! I had to get an ADR for that. I also wanted to try and get reservations at Liberty Tree.
Ok, so some places we were certain we wanted to eat at. However, getting ADRs requires and itinerary which I didn't have yet.
I did research for EMH and park hours and created a trusty table. (For those of you who don't know me- I do A LOT on the computer. I'll make tables, spreadsheets, lists, charts for everything!) :surfweb: Ok, so with my trusty table of times in hand, I worked and worked on an itinerary.
DH Stitch loves animals, so he is excited to go to Animal Kingdom. :scared1: (I don't have the heart to tell him that it certainly isn't my favorite park, but oh well. Let him make up his own mind!) I wanted to do AK first for him. I worked forever on the itinerary- trying hard to hit each park on EMH days and trying hard to fit everything in. DH Stitch knows little to nothing about Disney world, so he is cool with me doing all the planning!
Ok, Itinerary was:
Wednesda- AK
Thursday (Thanksgiving)- MK- Liberty Tree
Friday- Epcot- Marrakesh
Saturday- Epcot/HS- O'Hannas for breakfast
Sunday- HS/MK (and possibly stay for MVMCP)
Monday- AK and then home
I got that set and then forgot to work on it! :scared1: I got caught up in other things in my life.
For some time, I didn't even think about it. Then, something reminded me that I really needed to make ADRs before it was too late.
Coming up: ADRs attempts and Itinerary #2

After several weeks away from my planning, I returned to calculate the money thing- would there be enough for souvies or not?? I was in Disney Panic mood because I coudn't 'find' the money in our budget. Well, silly me, I forgot one of my paychecks that will come before we go! :lmao: Phew! Ok! We are on track now! Money for food and souvies!
Time to make ADRs!
Well, I decided at work that I had to call for ADRs. I couldn't do it at work- not even on lunch because my cell phone gets NO bars in my cave. . er. . office! I decided to check out Disney information online during lunch. I found the DIS boards again(after a long absence), and started reading all the great threads about dates and crowds and what to expect. . .I discovered that everyone and their dog go to MK on Thanksgiving day! :scared1: Oops! That was my plan, too! I found out that EMH days at the parks are packed! Oops! So much for Itinerary #1. There were definate changes that needed to be made!
Ok, so for the rest of that week, I worked on a new itinerary and times for ADRs.
Itinerary #2
WEdnesday-MK and Liberty Tree
Thursday (thanksgiving)- AK and possibly DTD
Friday- Epcot and Marrakesk
Saturday-Epcot and HS
Sunday- HS/MK (possibly staying for MVMCP)
Monday- AK or DTD and then home.

Ok, the big question: do we want to spend the extra money to go to MVMCP on November 30? Well, at first, I was certain it was worth it. The more DH Stitch and I talked, the more I wasn't sure. After all, it was an extra $100 to stay and see snow on Main Street amoung other things. I just wasn't sure. Why go? The parks would be all dressed for Christmas, and we would have a great time at the parks without paying the extra money. Besides, what was there, a parade, a few extra shows, the regular rides (minus a few), and some free cookies and cocoa with the snow. Well, I couldn't decide.
I stumbled on a few MVMCP threads on the DIS. What did I find: for the most part people said the MVMCP was so worth the money for- if nothing else- getting your in the spirit of the holidays! Hmm. . .what is a Disney-freak to do? The more I read (and the more I've read since I got the tickets), the happier and more excited I am to attend.
So I called last Friday just to make sure we could get tickets for MVMCP!!!! Well, the CM said, let me look for the date you are interested in. Yes, there are tickets available. Let me get your information. He put all my information in and charged my card. Then he told me that a few restaurants offer extra seating to MVMCP ticket holders. Liberty Tree didn't have an early opening, but Tony's had a 7:05. SOLD! I took that not even thinking- I had no plans for meals that day, so that was fine!
While I was on the phone, the CM offered to check any other dinning places I wanted ADRs for. Ok. . I knew I had to make dinner before DH Stitch and I headed to church, but I had a few minutes. I checked with him for Liberty Tree on a different day. Score! It was open on Wednesday- our new MK day! Yeah! Dinner at Liberty Tree with Characters! Awesome!
Ok, let's try O'Hanna's. Nothing on any day we are going to be there. He said I could keep calling to check and be sure I call 48 hours ahead to be certain. What?? No Lilo and Stitch??? Ok, ok. Keep going!!
I managed to get the Marrakesh ressies for the day I wanted! Yes! Wait, it also comes with a seating voucher for the Candlelight Processional! Sweet! Totally cool!
I got off the phone thinking I had made great progress- no O'Hanna's, but the other ones were good! :dance3:
But then DH Stitch asked. . . .
Belle_princess
10-22-2008, 01:42 PM
Where was I? Oh yes. . .DH Stitch asked. . .
After I'd made my ADRs, I thought I was doing good- all caught up! :cool1: The next day, DH Stitch asked "where are we going to do Thanksgiving dinner? I want to eat turkey!" :scared1: Oops! I hadn't planned on a Thanksgiving dinner. I thought we could skip it or eat at Raglan Road. Hmm, Irish food for Thanksgiving- I didn't think DH Stitch would be too big on that! Ok, here we go for another call to Disney Dinning!
I call Dining again to see which restaurants offer a traditional Thanksgiving meal on Turkey day. The CM gave me a list. We tried a couple, but they were all booked. :headache: Oh no! How will I get DH Stitch his turkey and fixin's?? "Let me check Kona's" the CM says. Yes, they have an opening! She gave me some times, and I chose 5:20! I asked her if "Traditional Thanksgiving Meal" really meant Turkey and stuffing, etc. She didn't know:sad2: Can you believe that???? Oh well.
I told DH we had it all set up! Who-hoo! Phew- catastrophe avoided! :cheer2:
I hope Kona's is good for Thanksgiving!! I'm excited because I get to see the Poly! I've only vague images of the Poly from the monorail from my very first trip! Maybe no O'Hannas (yet), but, at least, we get to go there and eat once!
Stay tuned for more ADR and MVMCP drama!

As a said a few updates back, I had 7:05 ressies for Tony's. I posted that one a MVMCP thread here and was told to cancel it because I was missing valuable party time. I thought hard about this, yes, she is probably right, but what if they don't have openings. :scared: I worried all the way from work!
I got home and called Disney Dinning immediately! No, they didn't have any earlier dinners at Tony's. Did they have lunch? The CM checked! YES!!! :dance3: The latest lunch they had was 2:35! SOLD! Phew!
Now, I have lunch ressies and all the time for MVMCP!! Yeah!!
Ok, you are now caught up to all my planning. I will update later with things I have to do and lists of things I don't want to miss!
Only 33 more days! :cheer2:

Glad to hear your plans are coming together.
Especially glad to read that DH(Stitch) gets his Turkey dinner.
I too debated about MVMCP(because of the extra money) but read and saw so many wonderful pictures about it that I couldn't pass it up after all it is Disney and Christmas what more could we ask for.And how often can you do both. Hope you enjoy it.
Keep us posted to more of your plans.

THe more I think about it, the more I wonder how we will ever get everything I want to do into our short trip!!!:scared: I know you can't do everything DIsney has to offer in 5 days, but I want to do some things. I'm afraid of the crowds and the time flying by!
I'm also feel my time to leave for Disney world will never come! I'm so excited I can hardly stand it, and as my ticker says, I still have a month! AHHHH
Oh well. My time will come! In the mean time, I still have tons of work to do!:rotfl:

Guess what came in the mail:
TRAVEL PAPERWORK!!!!!!!!!!
:jumping3: :bounce: :jumping3: :bounce: :jumping3: :bounce:
It is so official now! I checked, and everything looks right- all times, dates, hotel stuff, et! I can hardly believe it. Only 32 days!
Ok, on with the PTR. I've been working on my trip organizer. It is a pocket folder thing I found at WM. I added stickers (i had tons left from my last trip. I thought I'd use them for scrapbooking- hah! yeah right!) Anyway, I finished that today. Now, I just need to add any travel information and other tips sheets, etc for each park.
I'm working on creating lists of must sees at the parks. I haven't finished, but as soon as I do, I'll put them up here!
I finished my LGMH! As soon as I scan it and get it posted, it will be here, too! Yeah!
NOt too much else going on for our trip. I'm trying to decide one thing though: if I cancel my Cape May ADR that I have, that will give us 2 table dinners left on our DDP. Should I just leave them unbooked and we can decide when we get there (my only worry is the mess with ADRs, we might not get anything!) or should I go ahead and schedule more ADRs and we can cancel them if we decide to? - - > if you go with option two, where would you suggest we eat? I'm leaning toward Boma, Bistro de Paris (is this one included in the DDP?), Le Celliar, Biergarten, Coral Reef, or Sci-Fi Dinner Theater. What do you suggest? Do you have any other favorites I haven't considered?
Oh, I forgot: I did figure out how to get everything in during my stay. I was really worried about getting DTD in with enough time to shop and an additional half a day at EPCOT (if for nothing else, for photography). I wasn't sure how I was going to work it all in. This is what I figured out:
Nov. 26 MK (4:55 at LTT)
Nov. 27(t-day)- AK, 5:20 at Kona's, DTD (at least 3 hours of shopping- should be enough!)
Nov. 28- EPCOT (5:15 at Marrakesh with 8:15 Candlelight)
Nov. 29- HS (have the 9:05 Cape May I will cancel)
Nov. 30- Epcot, take monorail to MK, 2:35 at Tony's and then stay for MVMCP!! :santa: (yeah, baby!)
Dec. 1- catch up day- do what we want (we only have until about noon or so, but we could certainly go to one park and ride a few last rides or over to DTD to buy that last souvie!!!!)
There, I think that will make the perfect trip!! I hope Stitch isn't expecting time to rest or a relaxing vacation. Oh well. This is MY birthday trip, so we will do it MY way- which is get up semi-early (not as early as we do for work!) go all day and then crash at night! WOO-HOO!! The only way to do Disney!!!!
One more thing: I'm looking for cute ways to get Stitch excited for the trip! :stitch2: Anyone have any good ideas? He's excited that I'm excited, but I was trying to think of something cool to get him in the Magic mood.
Thanks for following along. I'll be back soon!

Ok, I did cancel my Cape May Breakfast. In its place, I put the Chefs de France for lunch on Friday, Nov. 28. I figured I take it and then I could cancel it later if I want. I just thought it would be nice to try different places for food! I've never had Chefs de France, so this will be new. Most of the ADRs I have are places I've eaten (LTT, Tony's, and Marakesh)- not that I'm complaining- I just like to try new foods-especially at the World!
Oh, my MVMCP tickets showed up in the mail today! WOO-HOO! The CM I ordered them from last week said allow 7-10 business days, so I didn't expect them until next week. They aren't very holiday-esque, but if they get me in, I don't care!!
I'm still working on my lists. I'll keep you posted!
ETA: I just called and got dinner ressies at Boma at AKL! WOW! Can you believe they had openings! Oh, I'm so excited. We will get to eat and then go back to HS for Fantasmic and the Osbourne Lights!! Yea!!!!!

Yeah, it was pretty exciting getting our paperwork! I can hardly wait!:rotfl: When I asked Stitch if we could go back in 5 years for my 35th birthday, he quickly said no- not unless I save the money. :worship: This will be the longest we've ever stayed at WDW. It will be nice to have so much time we can actually relax at our resort and also venture over to the other resorts to see all the beautiful holiday decorations. We've made it an annual tradition to visit WDW for Thanksgiving and the first week of December. :scared: The day of Thanksgiving and through the weekend WILL be a little chaotic at WDW (understatement!). Happily, I think the days before will be fairly quiet/mild crowd-wise. I had NO problem adding on the days at Port Orleans for Sun - Wed. Also, when I called to add ADRs, I got EVERYTHING I wanted on those days (including V&A). I am thinking it was wise to move our arrival date. More days with Mickey and more fun to be had. :woohoo:

I do believe Stitch is coming around. We were talking about Disney and our trip last night. Before, he had told me we probably wouldn't be back to Disney due to the cost, but last night he said we might be able to return in a few years! Whoo-hoo! Let's see what he says after he as gone! I really think he will have a great time- he just isn't too excited about being at MK from open to close!- we might have to take the trip a little slower than I'd like, so I don't burn him out!
If he isn't feeling the Disney Magic, yet, he is seeing that I'm affected by it. That is making him excited. I guess that is all that matters!
What part of Texas are you in?
John, I currently live in Dallas and I work in Plano. I grew up in Plano from the time I was in first grade. Where in Texas are you?

John, I currently live in Dallas and I work in Plano. I grew up in Plano from the time I was in first grade. Where in Texas are you?
:thumbsup2 We live in the DFW area too. We use to live in Plano. DD6 was born at Presby in Plano. Now, we live closer to Denton. If you ever want to get together for a "family" lunch. DH is a BIG Disney fan and may be able to get your DH excited for the trip.
:sad2: Neither DH or I went to WDW as children. We didn't even go before we had children. Our first trip was four years ago. Since then, we have been seven times. Yes, seven times in four years and we have driven six of those times. For a change, we flew to WDW last month. Needless to say with all the logistics (and it's cheaper), we are driving in November. :wizard: There is just something magical about WDW and spending quality family time. We even made a special trip last October to join DVC. We are that committed to taking Disney trips (Not just to WDW. But, DLR and Adventures by Disney. DH promised a trip to Europe in three years. Yay!!!!:woohoo:)
:thumbsup2 If you are staying at a Disney resort, you can get a Birthday and 1st Trip button upon check-in. Just ask!
:thumbsup2 You can get a Dole Whip at Aloha Isle (MK - Adventureland) and at The Polynesian resort. So if you were going to venture over to the Poly, you can get one there too. DH had his first Dole Whip float last month. I had one the trip before. "Yummy! Yummy! Yummy! Yummy!" - Stacy quote from Disney's top 7 Must Do's. However, she was referring to the food at Epcot. You will know that show from beginning to end by day two. ;) It plays on the tv in your room. We usually would fall asleep to it. :happytv:
:thumbsup2 We went on Carousel of Progress for the first time last month. It was interesting and that song stuck in my head for the rest of the day. It was so relaxing in there, DS3 fell asleep.:cloud9: That was a nice break for us! ;) We're willing to try every ride at least once. Believe it or not, one of our family-favorite "relaxing" rides in that area is TTA. :thumbsup2 If you are in Tomorrowland and need a break, hop on it. I think it's a hidden gem and overlooked by many guests.

Jennifer, Thanks for the advice. I had no idea you can get the birthday button and 1st time button at the resort. That will certainly help with my MK plans!

I hope to be back sooner than later with more lists and updates! Thanks for sticking with me!

I'm a little late responding to the MK list but you have to ride Carousel of Progress. It's a classic Disney ride. I just adore it but I just love the history of Disney so maybe that's why.
Your Epcot list looks good. I would recommend calling when you are down there. I did a few changes to my ADR's while I was down there and the CM's seemed to be really flexible trying to get you in since you are actually there. :thumbsup2

Thanks, Lallie! I will try that. I'm just not too sure about my ADRs for two places, and I'm thinking of changing them, but I guess I can leave them until we get down there- that is, unless I can find an O'Hanna's breakfast! (I LOVE Stitch!!! :stitch2: )

:scared: We ate at Restaurant Marrakesh in September. Honestly, we didn't like the food. We are pretty adventurous and love exotic food. However, we found it was not very good. JMHO. :thumbsup2 It has been marked off our list. We're on a quest to try every Epcot restaurant. Next up . . . Chefs de France.
:cool1: We have an ADR for Chefs de France (lunch) for November too. I'm excited to try their Croque Monsieur . I use to live in Europe and those are yummy! The Boulangerie Patisserie had some really yummy desserts too. I can't remember what it was called, but a woman in front of me recommended a flaky looking pastry with cream in it. OMG! It was so good! We didn't care for the eclairs though. They had fluffy cream in them, not a custard-type cream. Very disappointing. Overall, lots of yummy things to choose from. But, VERY $$$$$$ (What isn't at WDW though? ;) )

Thanks, Jennifer for your advice. I ate at Marakesh 6 years ago on my last trip and really enjoyed it. It is also one restuarant Stitch seemed very interested in, so I don't think I'll change that.
I, too, want to try many of the restuarants in EPCOT, but there is only so much time on this trip and there are so many other great places to eat! I may keep Chefs. I can't decided. I'm still trying to LeCelliar, but they always say it is booked. I'm going to try a slightly larger party. We will see.
I hope to do an update later today, so stay alert!

Ok. . . Why now??
For the last four days, I've been dealing with severe back pain. I have no idea how I got it. It just started Sunday morning. I thought I just slept on it wrong! Thinking it would simply go away, I waited. I waited. . . .and . . . .waited. . . and. . . .waited. It hasn't gone away.
I've found 3 ibubrofen help immensely! Now, I'm, at least, functional. I've been at work, but I'm moving at about quarter speed when I walk around! :scared1:
My biggest fear: I leave in 3 weeks. What if I can't ride the rides at WDW? :scared1: :sad1: No, no! I can't be injured 3 weeks before the trip.
When my back wasn't getting better, Stitch gave me the number for a back doctor that was recommended to him (He has scoliosis). I called him today, and they can get me in tomorrow. (I also have a dentist appointment tomorrow). I'm taking a sick day and going to both! We will see what the doctor says!! Keep me in your prayers!
I can't believe we are 20 days out! Tomorrow starts the teens countdown!!

Ok, I've been planning my trip for a little while. I've been taking notes in a spiral that is just red, but I'm keeping my travel papers, ME luggage tags, MVMCP tickets, etc in this cool planner.

http://i369.photobucket.com/albums/oo131/krisstamplist/Disney%20World%202008%20Preperation/DSC_0054small.jpg
Then, on Tuesday, I stopped by the 99cents store with a friend. I found these great princess pens that were 3 for 99 cents. So I went the register (all the while my friend is chanting "sick, sick, sick" at me! What does she know about Disney love??) When I was checking out, the clerk saw I had a "I voted" on, so she gave me a free beach ball and a dollar off my purchase!!! All I had to do was pay 8 cents (the tax) for my pens! Cool!
http://i369.photobucket.com/albums/oo131/krisstamplist/Disney%20World%202008%20Preperation/DSC_0058small.jpg
Last, but not least is my Lime Green Mickey Head that will be on my camera bag that is going in the park with me everyday! I had to make mine just a little different!

Ok, the doctor said it is just a little arthritis in my back. He said that my trip to WDW is cool- just don't do anything that hurts! Well, duh!! :rotfl2:
He gave me some anti-inflamitory meds and some meds for muscle spasms. He wants me to do physical therapy. Oh well. The price is terrible- especially this close to Disney. Oh well.

Ok, my ADRs and my itinerary have changed again! Here we go:
I called Disney Dining this morning and got an ADR at LeCellier for Saturday, November 29. Then I realized that was not the day we planed to be at EPCOT! Oops! Well, when I called back, they didn't have an opening on the days I will be at EPCOT. Ok, what to do. I figured out I can change parks and do some park hopping and still be fine- just not have quite as much time at the parks! Oh well! Here is my new itinerary:
Nov. 25- arrive and check in (later in the evening) Probably just explore the resort and rest.
Nov. 26- Magic Kingdom- 4:55 Liberty Tree!
Nov. 27 (t-Day)- Animal Kingdom, 5:20 Kona, and then Downtown Disney
Nov. 28- Hollywood Studios, then hop to EPCOT for 5:15 Marakesh and 8:15 Candlelight
Nov. 29- EPCOT LeCelliar at 11:55, then head to AKL for 4:20 at Boma. (I'm a little worried about two meals so close together! Oh well!) Then over to Hollywood Studios for Fantasmic and Osborne Lights
Nov. 30- Maybe EPCOT for photography or Downtown Disney (after sleeping in!) 2pm Raglan Road and then MK for MVMCP!!!!!
Dec. 1- Do What we want and then go home:sad:
Not too much has changed, but I think that will work in our favor. Hopefully, that will still give us time to get to everything in EPCOT and especially Hollywood Studios!
There isn't too much news besides the change and I finally got my ADR at LeCellier!! :dance3: I just hope we will be hungry for Boma later!

My AK list is pretty short. Oh well:
Rides:
Kilimanjaro Safari
Kali River Rapids (if it isn't too cold!)
Expedition Everest- probably ride this more than once!! I'm so excited!
Dinosaur- I think Stitch will get a kick out of me being scared.
Others:
Tough to be a Bug
Discovery Island Trails
Festival of the Lion King
Pangani Forest Trails
Maharajah Jungle Trek
That's really about it- no specific shops to visit and no eating place we have ADRs to or have to visit. We will just wing it!

Downtown Disney
Goofy's Candy Shop- I am so looking forward to this one! Everyone who has shared their creations make them all look so good! I'm up for pretzel rods!!!
Basin- I think I will buy a bath bomb just to use back at the resort! How nice and relaxing would that be? (Our bathroom at home is old, so no matter how hard we scrub the tub, it doesn't look very clean. Even when I know it is, I won't take a bath!)
Disney's Days of Christmas- This is a MUST DO! I have to bring back an ornament for my God Daughter since this Christmas will be her first! I also need some magic to put on my tree to remember this awesome trip!!!!
Disney Pin Traders- I'll admit: I'm addicted to pins! I loved them in 2002 when I last went, and I'm anxious to buy some more!!!
EuroSpain- Isn't this where that multi-thousand dollar crysal castle is? I just want a photo of it!!
Mickey's Mart- Disney under $10?? :scared1: Sign me up!
Once Upon a Toy- just 'cause!
World of Disney- isn't this a MUST DO on everyone's list??? I LOVE this store! Can't wait! My wallet will probably run and hide!!!!! :lmao:
That's it for Downtown. We might stop at Planet Hollywood or look at things on the other side, but I prefer the Marketplace better!

I can't believe I'm in the single digits! I have some other lists, etc to upload, and I will hopefully get to that later today! I'm so excited! :woohoo: It seems surreal- all this planning and now, only a tad more than a week away!
I've been getting into the mood by watching Disney movies and listening to Disney music on my iPod.
I've watched:
Lilo and Stitch
Mary Poppins
Princess Diaries 2
Beauty and the Beast
Little Mermaid
Cinderella
Aladdin
I'm still hoping to watch a few more, but Stitch always falls asleep. Do you know how hard it is to watch a movie with snoring right next to you?? Argh!!
Oh, by the way, Stitch keeps asking questions about the trip. "Do you realize we are just over a week before we leave?" "Do you think my fleece sweater will be fine?" "We should probably pack this week since the weekend will be busy!" I think he is excited- maybe he is just excited to have a week off work, but oh well!:rolleyes1

Must Haves:
Hooded zippered sweatshirt- I have an old one (just Mickey Mouse) that I live in. Stitch said I've been wearing it since we started dating!
Mask from Italy- I bought one on my second trip, and decided I liked it so much that I would buy one on every trip. Yes, I only have two, but this will make three. I've always loved masks, and these are stunning!
Mickey Head Necklace- I saw it someone's pictures on their TR and decided I had to have one! It is the Mickey head icon that is flat on a chain. It is silver. She said she bough it at Uptown Jewelers!
Coffee Mug(s)- I need at least one- maybe more! Stitch got me into coffee, and I drink it everyone morning now with him! Well, the mugs we registered for for our wedding have slowly be breaking. I want one or two (or three. . .) heavy duty WDW mugs! Gotta get one with Stitch and probably Belle and Mickey and. . .
Christmas Ornament '08- gotta have something to remember the trip by. An '08 ornament to hang on the tree and always remember! (It isn't like I need another Disney ornament!:scared1: I have tons from when I worked at the Disney Store!)
Cutomized Mickey Ears- oh yeah! I have to go to the Chapeau and get some ears!! Woo-Hoo!
The other things are things I'd like to get:
MVMCP '08 pin
Wall-E and Eve pin(s)
Hollywood Studios '08 pin
Messanger Bag
Christmas ornament for my Goddaugher- this year is her first Christmas
Partner's Statue- can't decide if I want to spend the money on this!
CDs from the parks, shows, etc.
That's my list now. I'm certain I'll see all kinds of things I need when I'm there!

I've been waiting to do these posts until I was a week out! Here we go:
A week from today, we will be arriving in Orlando around 8pm. We will hop on the ME and ride to the Coronado Springs Resort! We will check in and get our room and KTTK cards!!!!
We will go to our room, drop our stuff off and then explore the resort. We'll check out the main building to see where the food court is! We will shop in the gift store if it is still open. We will walk around the grouds, and I will shoot pictures galore of CSR at night! :thumbsup2
Oh, I can hardly wait! We chose a late flight because I thought I would have to work that day. I do, but I have some comp time I can take off. I'm decided if I want to take only the half day which will give me time for lunch and quickly packing up the last of the things before we leave. Or if I should take the whole day off (I just today received a little more comp time to cover the morning of our departure day!) and work on packing and visit with my grandmother who is coming into town- I didn't know that until after I booked my trip. I can't decided. I think work would make the day go faster, but it will be a drag to be there. (However, my job is great! I can think of other things will I work!)
Anyway, I just had to share! I can hardly believe it is almost time to go! I still have to pack, buy last minute things (like ponchos and 3 oz tolietries!, etc!), get my travel papers together, be sure I have everything I need, pack my park/camera bag, get my overnight bag ready (just in case!), ummm . . .I'm sure there is more, but I can only handle so much!!!!! :scared1:
That's about it for today! I'll post my packing lists, etc as we get closer!

(I wanted to include pictures, but I can't find any that will work!)
One week from today, I will be walking down Main Street to see my beautiful Castle!!! (Yes, my castle!) Immediately after shooting a few pictures of the Castle in the morning light, we are off the Space Mountain. After that, we might hit other things in tomorrowland. Then, we will go as we please! Maybe Fantasyland or the hub for more pictures as we head to Adventureland. I haven't really made a plan- just Space Mountain first, and we'll go from there! We might hit the Chapeau to get my some ears for the day.
We'll hang out in the Magic Kingdom for a while and see how we are. If we need a break, we may go back to the resort. After a break (if needed), we will be back at MK for our 4:55 ressie at Liberty Tree Tavern! Yum yum!!!
Of course, it will be more rides, shopping, and then Wishes!
The park is open until 11, but I don't know how long we will stay! I'd like to stay all day, but Stitch might not be up for that!!
I can hardly believe in one week I will be at the Magic Kingdom. I have to say it is one of my favorite parks- probably teetering on th edge of being my favorite, but I'm not sure! I just can't wait!
Mickey, look out, here I come!!
6 days!

Ok!! I know I didn't post yesterday, but I fell asleep with Stitch watching Ratattouille!!! (Love Remmy!)
One week from Yesterday (Thursday) will be Thanksgiving Day! Yum yum! We will start at AK. Stitch is very excited to see the animals, so I'm certain he won't be opposed to walking the different "treks!" First thing, we are headed straight to Everst! Oh, I can't wait!!! :rotfl: I've been waiting for this!!!! Probably ride it and get a FP! Then, we will probably head to the safari since the animals will be out early! Then back to EE for the FP time! Somewhere in there we will see Tough to Be a Bug! :3dglasses I love this show, and I'm certain DH will get a kick out of the stink bug (that is, if he still farts!) We will just take the day as it comes.
We will leave around 3:30 or so to go back to CSR for some picture and relax time. Then we are off to EPCOT to take the monorail to the Poly for our dinner at Kona! Yum yum!!!!! Hopefully, sometime around dinner, we will get to explore the resort and white sand beaches! Very Romantic:love: We will possibly be off to DTD or back to the Resort. I'm not sure which. I guess we could hit a park again that is still open- like MK or whatever. I dont' know. We'll probably take it slow!
Then, one week from today- BLACK FRIDAY! :scared1: Ha ha! I'm glad I'm not shopping- just the shopping at Disney! :rotfl:
We are headed to Hollywood Studios today for the majority of the day. RRC and TOT, here I come!!!:cheer2: After those, we'll see about TSM. Hopefully, we'll get a FP. Then off to explore. None of my days are meticiously planned- I just planned the park and the first ride or two! Then I figure we will just go from there.
After we play, we will head to EPCOT. We have a CP package at Marakesh at 5:15 and the show at 8:15. We'll just walk around the showcase for a little while after dinner- maybe try to hit a ride or two before the show! Most just pictures and shopping. That is also EMH night at EPCOT, so we will probably stay and hit a few rides depending on the crowd after the CP! It will be a picture night for lights, etc, too! (That's a lot more time at EPCOT than I thought- cool! :cool2: )
That's it for us on Friday!
I'll be packing like crazy tomorrow!!! Sunday and Monday are crazy, so tomorrow is my packing day! Tuesday, we'll have a little time!
Wow, I can hardly believe we are this close!!
4 more days!
:yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

I had a great trip!!!! Stitch was troubled- to borrow Lilo's line! Stitch (DH) didn't have a blast like I thought he would. (We'll get to that later!)
Overall, we had great weather- beautiful sun, great temps, perfect. One day it rained- a great deluge in the morning and then on and off the afternoon and evening! Oh well- can't win 'em all!
My PTR is here (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1988881)
A few introductions for those who haven't read my PTR:
Cast:
Me (Lilo)- just turned 30. I love Disney- always have. Worked as a Disney Store CM for a while and almost worked at WDW! I'm a big kid when I get to WDW- all my cares melt away!
DH (Stitch)- 32 and usually a big kid. Found out during the trip that theme parks aren't his thing, so he went along for the ride. Not a huge Disney fan, but can tolerate it when requested! Loves cars and cartoons!
Stage:
Stitch was trying to come up with something awesome for my 30th birthday. This was his idea: got to Disney World over Thanksgiving for my birthday! Even though I didn't technically celebrate my birthday there, it was a great present!
The chapters will be presented at the bottom, so you can follow along without the extra things if you like!
Ok- following in LL's style, I am going to make a teaser list:
Did we stick to the schedule?
Who had a meltdown in Morraco/France?
Did I meet any DISers?
Did we go to every park?
Which ADR did we skip?
What were our favorite attractions?
Who won Toy Story Mania?
Who won Buzz?
What ride did we get stuck on?
Did we have a Dole Whip?
What was our favorite ADR?
Did I get to meet the REAL Stitch?
What ride finally got Stitch to act like a child?
Why we didn't meet more characters?
Did I get all my souvies?
Will Stitch ever return to WDW?

Stitch and I slept in a little (to us- 7:30) is sleeping in. We got up and made some coffee and had a calm start to the morning with the last snuggle from our kitties. (Our kitties live outside, but a few come inside in the morning for a snuggle and some treats!)
Finally, we decided it was time to get the last of our things done. I had to order my photopass CD and pay a couple bills on the computer. I did those and then showered. After my shower, I packed frantically! I had so much left to do even though I'd done some packing the Saturday before! DH had to take me outside for a few minutes just to stop the packing panic!! It was a nice break, but I still had tons to do.
While DH did some last minute things to his truck, I ground 7 days worth of coffee to use at the resort and packed them into small snack size bags. I gathered the coffee cream, etc together. I bagged them all and tossed them in the suitcase.
We finally finished- so much for packing light!!! We were off to see Stitch's grandmother once before leaving and then to see mine (who was in town!). The plan was to go visit and then return home for our luggage since it was closer to the airport. We started off, but a few blocks away, we turned back for the luggage- decided it would be easier that way!
Ok, off to visit. We visited with Stitch's grandmother for a little bit, and then we drove to my parent's house to visit my grandmother. After that, we headed to the airport. It was finally time! :cloud9:
We got the airport with only a slight delay- google maps lead us a little astray! Once we got there, we go checked in and through security in about 30 minutes! Wow- that left us with nearly an hour and a half before our flight. We walked up and down near our terminal looking for starbucks!!! :coffee: We found one and sat down with our treasures! (On the way back to the terminal, I found an iPod vending machine. It had iPods, PSPs, iPhone accesories, etc! It was unbelievable!)
http://i369.photobucket.com/albums/oo131/krisstamplist/Disney%20World%202008%20Preperation/Disney%20World%202008/DSC_0027.jpg
Stitch played with his phone while I worked on some Sodoku puzzles! At one point, Stitch tapped my shoulder and showed me what he looked up- Donald Duck cartoons!!!!!:faint: He would never do that on a regular day, so we watched a cartoon and Donald and his nephews playing in the snow. Then we watched an older Mickey Mouse cartoon and then 'Mickey through the Mirror' (one of my favorites!).
Finally, they started boarding the plane! I was so excited:yay: I stuffed everything in the bag and waited patiently for my group to be called. Stitch decided he needed to used the facilities before we boarded! We did, and by the time we got back to the terminal, they had called our group! We board and got situated! (Oh how nice first class looked!) We were squished like sardines! We waited to go, but we just sat there.
Finally, the pilot came over the intercom to say that there was a delay (no kidding, pal!) He said a passenger had noticed a clump of trash on the right wing and we weren't able to go until that was removed! (I did get a picture with my phone, but I haven't downloaded those yet! I'll add it when I can!) The pilot assured us someone was coming to remove it! So we waited. And waited! When the first guy came, his lift on his truck wasn't working, so they have to call guy #2. Eventually, they got on the wing and plucked the culprit off the wing. The whole cabin cheered; we could leave.
The flight was uneventful, and we reached Orlando only 30 minutes later than scheduled. Once we got off the plane, I wasn't exactly sure what to do. We followed people downstairs to baggage claim even though I know we didn't need to! I saw an ME lady downstairs, so I asked her where we check in.
"Are we picking up your baggage??"
"Yes"
"Then you need to go to the other side and check in there!"
Ok, up some stairs, across the airport, and over to side B to check in! Woo-Hoo! :woohoo: I knew we were almost there.
The ME guy stamped our book and pointed us into the right line for Coronado Springs! I pratically ran to the que and lined up. We waited, but not long. We were ushered to a Disney Cruise bus. Yes, it was going to Disney World- not the cruise. Ok!
We jumped aboard and chose a seat! Ready to go!
This is a horrible picture of me, but it is the only one I have on the bus!

How beautiful it was- it was already decorated for Christmas! (I took these pictures one morning, but it's still the same!!!)

Hi,
I've been reading your trip report. I will be checking into the CSR on 12/16 and I was just wondering how you got that rooM!!!
Hi,
How did you get that room?
Everything I've read says that building was renovated and is now club level and is CLOSED until Jan 2009...
Then I saw your post...I would love to be in that building. It's so convenient to the restaurants and bus stop. I am traveling with 2 small children and that would be ideal for us, but thought it was closed...

Wow - your room is beautiful! I have to read your PTR to see what you booked to get this room. My DS30 has been wanting to stay there but I got spoiled at BWV. But after seeing the rooms, I may go ahead & book there for our May trip!

I didn't do anything special when I booked that room. Initially when I booked it, I just asked for a king bed (Stitch's request). Then, when we checked in, I told them I was celebrating my birthday. That was all I did. I got blessed or that was the one dream out of a million I received.

Where was I? Oh yeah, we went to bed with no luggage and were concerned about its where abouts.
I had set the wake up call for 6:30- I was determined to make it to MK for the RD! Stitch called about our luggage; they said it wasn't here yet :scared: but it would be here by 8! (What?!?!? I'd planned to be nearly to the bus stop by 8.) Stitch was livid. They explained that if the truck at the airport wasn't full at night, then they didn't have to leave the airport!! :scared1:
Well, what could we do? I decided to shower. I think Stitch pouted!!! I got out of the shower and still no luggage. Stitch had nothing else to wear but what he traveled in. He decided to go ahead and shower after we did our morning prayer and Bible reading. Just as we settled down to pray, there was a knock on the door.(7:45) There was our luggage sitting outside!!!!!!!! Stitch said, "We should have prayed earlier!" :rotfl2:
Ok, now, Stitch was in a better mood. We made some coffee, Stitch showered and got ready. I packed our park bag and got the money we needed and put the rest in the safe.
I convinced Stitch to not eat at the resort since we were running late. I told him there was a great bakery on Main Street and we would eat there. He, surprisingly, agreed. :faint:
We took a quick walk to the bus stop. Here is what we saw:

While waiting for the MK bus, I noticed some light fixtures:

http://i369.photobucket.com/albums/oo131/krisstamplist/Disney%20World%202008%20Preperation/Disney%20World%202008/DSC_0062.jpg
Finally, the bus came, and we had to stand. Whatever- I didn't care- I was on my way to the Magic Kingdom!!!! We took the long walk around the front of the Kingdom only to see hundreds of people waiting at the gates! We arrived just in time to see the Welcome Show! We were too close, but I didn't care. Stitch wanted to get inside the gates, but I had found a spot to watch the show from and I wasn't budging! popcorn::

Once the Welcome Show was over, the lines to get in the gates were long. Stitch was already on my case "I told you to get in line, but you didn't listen!" Blah, blah, blah (by the way, this happened the whole trip! I was determined NOT to let it ruin my vacation at my happy place!!!) I just found a shorter line and got in it. We were quickly herded under the train tracks and into Town Square in what I called "Mad Cow Disease!"
We had to wait for a horse-drawn cart to pass, and then we continued our walk up Main Street on our way to Tomorrowland. Finally, I saw my beloved castle!!!
http://i369.photobucket.com/albums/oo131/krisstamplist/Disney%20World%202008%20Preperation/Disney%20World%202008/DSC_0080.jpg
The Christmas decorations were beautiful! I was so excited!! I started shooting random shoots of Main Street because I wanted to remember every moment of this vacation and with a digital camera, you can!
http://i369.photobucket.com/albums/oo131/krisstamplist/Disney%20World%202008%20Preperation/Disney%20World%202008/DSC_0082.jpg
We finally made it past Main Street where I could a semi-decent picture of the castle.
http://i369.photobucket.com/albums/oo131/krisstamplist/Disney%20World%202008%20Preperation/Disney%20World%202008/DSC_0083.jpg
Don't you love the trash can right in the middle?? :rotfl2:
On to Tomorrowland and Space Mountain!
http://i369.photobucket.com/albums/oo131/krisstamplist/Disney%20World%202008%20Preperation/Disney%20World%202008/DSC_0084.jpg
Well, the wait for Space Mountain said 30 minutes, but the line exteneded out the door, past the FP machines and almost under the TTA tracks! We decided to FP it, but those lines were awful, too! Stitch was still upset- the crowds aren't his thing! We finally got our FP for SM to come back around 10:30.
Stitch was begging to go eat, but I saw Carousel of Progress. I HAD to ride it since it was one of the first rides made for WDW. The was only about six people in line. We jumped in just as they opened the doors! It was cute! I don't remember seeing it (but my mom seems to think we rode it ages ago!)
http://i369.photobucket.com/albums/oo131/krisstamplist/Disney%20World%202008%20Preperation/Disney%20World%202008/DSC_0093.jpg
http://i369.photobucket.com/albums/oo131/krisstamplist/Disney%20World%202008%20Preperation/Disney%20World%202008/DSC_0090.jpg
Afterwards, I was ready to keep going, but Stitch is groaning, "Can we go eat now!" Yes, of course. Maybe if I get Stitch fed, he'll stop grousing and have a good time.
We headed back to Main Street. We saw a Photopass photographer on the bridge from Tomorrowland. We stopped and got some good pics. (I dont' have my CD yet. I'll post them when I can!)
On to Main Street and the Main Street Bakery. All the while, I hear from Stitch, "Where are we going?" "Do you know where you are going?" "Where is it?" Well, I was pretty sure I knew where it was, but I just told Stitch I knew where it was.
We arrived to find a long line. I settled in- isn't Disney World all about waiting in lines??

http://i369.photobucket.com/albums/oo131/krisstamplist/Disney%20World%202008%20Preperation/Disney%20World%202008/DSC_0097.jpg
We decided on 2 Breakfast Sandwiches and a ginormous Cinnamon Roll! When we got to the register, we explained to the guy that we had the dinning plan, but we didn't know how it worked. He explained that each sandwich was an entry and then we each got a dessert. The cinnamon roll counted as one- what other did we want? We decided on a crum cake. He rang us up. Stitch went to get a table while I went back to get my crumb cake!
Once we sat down, Stitch asked if I wanted a picture. :rotfl2: Of course!
http://i369.photobucket.com/albums/oo131/krisstamplist/Disney%20World%202008%20Preperation/Disney%20World%202008/DSC_0097.jpg
The sandwiches and cinnamon roll were yummy. We were stuffed, so we saved the crumb cake until later by putting into the camera bag.
By the time we finished breakfast, it was time to return to SM for our FP!! We headed back to Tomorrowland. We were early, so we stopped to shop and look around.
http://i369.photobucket.com/albums/oo131/krisstamplist/Disney%20World%202008%20Preperation/Disney%20World%202008/DSC_0098.jpg
We sat by SM because the guy wouldn't let us on at 10:30- we had to wait until our exactl FP time of 10:35. Once it was 10:35, we walked right on in. We by-passed the whole line and ended up on the right hand side of the ride. (this will come into play much later!). We were waiting, and the CMs came around asking for a party of 2. They let us right on the ride! Sweet!!! I thought only single riders got special treatment!
I lvoed the ride. Stitch said "It was OK." (This became his normal reply to every ride!)

We head through Tomorrowland towards Fantasyland.

I wanted Stitch to ride It's a Small World- every first timmer HAS to ride it! Well, the wait was 35 minutes or something crazy like that! I decided against it for the moment. We checked out Mickey's PhilharMagic, and it said the wait was 10 mintues! Alright! It was one of my must-sees, so we had to get on.

As we waited in line prior to entering the waiting area, I was shootings lots of pictures- pictures of the posters, the neat artwork on the wall (heh, I'm a musician!!). The guy behind me look at Stitch and said (indicating me) "First time at Disney World or what??" I was really hurt. I wasn't keeping the line from moving as I shot pictures, I was just shooting as many as I could while we wound through the line. I looked back and said, "No, first time at Disney World with a digital camera." Oh course, Stitch had to tell the man that I shoot pictures of everything. I was so embarassed. So what if I was shooting pictures. My flash wasn't on and I was distrubing anyone. ARGH! It still upsets me over three weeks later!!!!
Oh, vent over!
We went into the waiting area after grabbing our nifty 3-D glasses! :3dglasses

http://i369.photobucket.com/albums/oo131/krisstamplist/Disney%20World%202008%20Preperation/Disney%20World%202008/DSC_0112.jpg
We were ushered into the theatre. I knew there was at least one hidden mickey on the stage, so I had to photograph it! (I'm a horn player, and I was thrilled to see a hidden mickey in my instrument- even if they did have to make it wrong in order for Mickey to work!)
http://i369.photobucket.com/albums/oo131/krisstamplist/Disney%20World%202008%20Preperation/Disney%20World%202008/DSC_0118.jpg
Mickey's PhilharMagic was so cool! I loved every second of it! I would have ridden it again and again, but we didn't. Stitch was complaining that he needed water, so we went up to a snack cart in Fantasyland. While we were waiting, I shot a couple pictures of the architecture because I'd heard in LL's trip report that they pay careful attention to how it changes between lands. I just wanted some of the neatness of Fantasyland.

I enjoyed the ride, and the updates didn't take away from the ride at all. It was fantastic! Just a classic Disney ride! Stitch again, said it was OK. :sad2: Oh well. (He does get onboard MUCH later!)
We headed through Liberty Square to Adventureland.

Ok, it has been a while, I know. However, I'm back and ready to go!
Hmm. . .where did I leave off. . .Oh yes, we got off of Space Mountain and Stich said it was ok! When I left you, we were in line for the Haunted Mansion.
After we got off the Haunted Mansion, Stitch said it was OK! :lmao: Oh!! We headed to Adventureland! Of course, we had to stop for water again (good ole Stitch!)

Then, we decided to ride the Pirates of the Caribbean. Stitch didn't realize until right before we left for WDW that the movie was based on a ride! Poor guy!!!
I found lots of great light fixtures just in the Pirates ride itself!

http://i369.photobucket.com/albums/oo131/krisstamplist/Disney%20World%202008%20Preperation/Disney%20World%202008/DSC_0142.jpg
I didn't think the addition of Johnny Depp's Jack Sparrow detracted too much from the ride. Most of it was still the same as I remembered! Phew! Nice going Imagineers!
Once off the ride (which again was ok from Stitch), we went into the souvier shop. I heard that there was a gold pirate medalion (like the one in the movie) on a red vase. I was on a mission! I found it about half way through on the right!
http://i369.photobucket.com/albums/oo131/krisstamplist/Disney%20World%202008%20Preperation/Disney%20World%202008/DSC_0147.jpg
After Pirates, Stitch was tired and wanted to go back to the room to rest. Well, I decided to give him that time to rest, so he wouldn't get cranky!! We headed towards Main Street. As we were walking, I just happened to see the sign for Aloha Isle, and I knew that was the place to get a Dole Whip. Well, I begged Stitch to stop. He found a place to sit while I stood in the short line to get my Dole Whip. (I'd never had one!!!! I couldn't wait!)
I wasn't sure I ordered the right thing. I think I ordered Dole Pinapple soft serve in Pinapple juice. It was called a Dole Whip, but I wasn't sure it was THE Dole Whip! Of course, before we could try it, I had to shoot a picture of it. They put the clear cup inside a paper one!
http://i369.photobucket.com/albums/oo131/krisstamplist/Disney%20World%202008%20Preperation/Disney%20World%202008/DSC_0148.jpg
Oh, is my mouth ever watering right now! How I wish I could get one! Yumm! It was delicious. Stitch didn't appreciate it because he was tired. He had some, but it didn't seem to surpass the OK test. Oh well. I adored it! After that, I was ready to go on and conquer the rest of the Magic Kingdom, but I had promised Stitch some down time. We headed for Main Street.
http://i369.photobucket.com/albums/oo131/krisstamplist/Disney%20World%202008%20Preperation/Disney%20World%202008/DSC_0149.jpg
We did make a few stops at the stores (I was on the mission for a few items!) We stopped at the Uptown Jewelers to find a flat sliver Mickey Head charm. They only had gold! :confused3 Oh well. However, I did see this cute guy
http://i369.photobucket.com/albums/oo131/krisstamplist/Disney%20World%202008%20Preperation/Disney%20World%202008/DSC_0150.jpg
I thought he was cute, but I didn't have the money or a place to put him. I figured shooting pictures of all the things I wanted but couldn't afford would score me a couple points with Stitch who was pretty grumbly by this point!
I really was on a mission to find the Chapeau! I wanted to make my own ears! We made it!

I looked around at the ears and prices. I felt silly spending $20 or so on a silly hat I probably wouldn't wear. I chickened out. . . for now.
We went back to CSR and took a nap. Well. . .Stitch took a nap, and I recorded all we did! I was too excited to sleep. I was at Disney World!!!!!!!!

Pete Werner, owner of this site, recently sent a cease and desist notice to the owners of the website d i s l i v e . c o m demanding that they stop using their site because the name is too similar to his. To avoid an expensive legal battle, they changed the name of their site. He has now sent a letter demanding they turn over the domain name to him or face a lawsuit. Not offering to pay for it, but simply demanding it be turned over. He apparently thinks he has absolute rights to the letters dis. Gosh, Pete, going after Disney next?
Just wanted to let you know a little about the “ethics” of the board owner.

I had so much fun posting the last post, I had to do another!
Once back at CSR, we rested, but first, we had to get water for Stitch, of course. I shot some more pictures of CSR during the day.

While Stitch slept, I figured out what time we needed to leave the resort in order to get to our ADR at Liberty Tree in time. I woke Stitch from his nap by accident. "I thought you wanted to sleep?" he asked. I told him I was too excited. He actually got up and started getting ready to go! Love him!
We got what we needed and headed to the bus stop. We waited for the MK bus (which always seemed to take forever!) We finally got one, and headed back to MK. Without being in a big rush, I was able to see more on our way in.

Stitch was starving (even though we had dinner reservations), so I suggested Casey's. We stopped. While Stitch ordered, I took some pictures.

Stitch ordered Corn Dog Nuggets. Well, to say the least, I wasn't thrilled with his choice. I'm not a big corn dog fan. He asked me to try them- they were delicious!! They didn't taste like nappy corn dogs at all- they were splendid! It was a favorite of the whole trip! :rotfl2:
Anyway, with the time we had, we stopped for some castle pictures! It is, after all, MY castle!!!!

After the castle, we walked to z Frontierland to get Fast Passes for Big Thunder Mountain!!! The FP time was much later after our dinner, so I knew we were fine. As we were walking out of Frontierland, we saw this little band. They were walking down the street playing music and singing. I'm a musician, so I stopped to watch for a bit. They saw my Birthday pin I had been wearing, and they called out to me.
"Happy Birthday, Kristin!" They started singing. I stood there LOVING every minute of it! Afterwards, I thanked them and asked them to get a picture. They said "You want a picture with us?? You are the first girl who wants to take a picture with us!!!!" They were so funny!

After that, Stitch pulled me away and suggested I not wear my birthday button after that day. He said I got so much attention, and it wasn't fair because my birthday had already passed. I rolled my eyes, but didn't say anything. I think he was jealous of all the attention I got!!! Oh well.
We stopped at Liberty Tree to see if we could eat early, but they were packed. We had to come back closer to our time. Fair enough. We shopped at the Christmas shop near by.

Beautiful stuff, but the place was full. I found a CD set I wanted, so I stood in line. The man who rang me out was deaf. I struggled to remember the signs for Merry Christmas and Thank you. I remembered them and was very excited I got to use them! He was very nice!
In Part 6, I'll show you my Castle Photography Study and pictures from LTT!!
