When I was driving home from Disneyland, I was listening to the first Harry Potter on C.D. in the car. Alan flew out to Las Vegas, and he rode home with me. He had already read the book, but he said he didn't mind if I listened to it while we drove. When I was deeply engrossed in listening to the book, he pipes up with, "You know the one thing that I didn't like about the movie was the fact that they glossed over Norbert's (Hagrid's dragon) having to leave." I say, "Norbert has to leave?" He says, "Oh, I guess you're not to that part yet." :o :o :o :o

Now, fast forward to my recent WDW trip with Tia and her family. We all pile in my car one day, and Maile (Tia's daughter) notices my Harry Potter 3 C.D.s in the backseat. She asks if I'm a Harry Potter fan. I say, "Yes." She says, "Oh, you're listening to number 3. Is that the one where Lupin (Harry's Proffessor) is a werewolf?" I say, "I don't know. I guess it is. I haven't gotten that far."  :D

When I get back to my hotel room, I am telling Alan that Maile accidentally ruined part of the book for me like he did. He says, "See! I'm not the only one." I say, "She's only 10. You're 36."

Can anyone guess what I'm doing today? That's right. I'm reading Harry Potter 4 before one of the neighbor kids tells me what happens.

It's a really good book, Dayna. We were in Alaska 2 summers ago when it was to be released. Although I had reserved a book at my local bookstore, we also called a bookstore in Anchorage and reserved one. We picked it up in Anchorage about 6 hours before our flight back home (a loooooooong flight). DS read it the whole flight and the next day I picked up the one reserved at home for me to read.
Warning: It does get pretty intense!!!
Enjoy!

I'm glad she didn't take it to heart. She's a sweetie. :D Now, Alan, on the other hand, should know better. ;)
