Swan and Dolphin Resort Fee No Longer Waived?????

Hello,

Has anyone had any luck getting this wavied recently? I just called to pay off my reservation and the cast member told me I am payed in full except for the resort fee. I told her that was fine I am going to have it waived when I check in. She said we don't waive it.....I know I have read posts where people have had this done....anyone know of any changes?

I just read a new post from "Cindermom" on the thread: NEW...DOLPHIN/SWAN "questions and answers"...tips and hints...confirming the resort fee is STILL being waived. Call again and request this be done, or just wait until check-in to insist upon it. The Dolphin/Swan will not "force" you to pay for added ammenities you do not wish to use. :)

Update

My best friend just got home from S/D this morning. She was able to get the fee waived....however she asked this when she checked in, when she checked out it was on her bill. After a small fuss they removed it.

We stayed at the Dolphin last weekend, Saturday, Sunday and they waived the fee. I told them at check in that I wanted it waived, and they did it. If you don't want to pay it, don't ask, tell them " I want the resort fee waived" don't give them a chance to say "no"
