I love not having to look at the ugly crisscross of telephone and power wires when I am in Disney. This quality is the line of demarcation between the World and the rest of the World. It's one of the reasons I like to be on-site.
Of course, I acknowledge that being out in the country can deliver the same result! But just want to know if there are others out there who appreciate the unobstructed beauty of the Disney landscaping and architecture without the "lines of interference"?

I have to agree and I'm sure my wife will agree, also. It's so much nicer than the "real" world.
I've been in the electric utility business for 34 years and my wife gets upset with me if we're on vacation and I'm checking out the poles and wires (just habit).
That said, I do end up noticing the almost hidden underground facilities at WDW, but am really trying to break the habit... honest, I am.

Absolutely a beautiful view and something very, "Disney!"

While I agree, I do have to admit a certain fondness for the power pole by the World Drive overpass to I-4. It looks line šOš I can't imagine seeing that anywhere else. I made DH drive by it again just to get a picture.

Power lines? Shoot, the light poles @ Epcot only come out at night--they come out of the ground only when they come on! ow THAT is just plain cool.:smooth:
