Anyone use room service who didnt have a verandah? I see lots of posts about people having coffee etc on their verandah. Since we have an inside room do you think we would be using room service? I didnt use it at all when I cruised NCL in Dec.

We have cruised twice each time with a verandah amd I didn't have my morning coffee on ours at all this last cruise. I am ususally the first one up and out and don't want to disturb DH so I just got ready and went to Lumiere's for my coffee. On our first cruise I did order coffee and bagels a few times and did enjoy being on our verandah. Our next cruise is 12/14 and we are in an inside cabin - don't know what I will do about coffee and breakfast but we will order cookies and snacks for St. Maartin and St. Thomas beach time.

We have ordered room service in both verandah and inside staterooms. Even when we do have a verandah, we sometimes eat inside the room. Enjoy it!

We have had an inside room on both cruises, and will again on anuupcoming cruise. We order room service EVERY morning! My kids wake up HUNGRY! I do not want to fight with them to get dressed/showered when they are hungry(cranky). So every morning I had juice, cereal, bagels, and coffee delivered. They had a bite to eat while we all showered/dressed. Then an hour or so later we would go to the dinning room or the buffet and get ANOTHER breakfast. Hey...it's vacation!LOL!

I also allowed the kids to order room service for lunch while DH and I went to Palos brunch. They enjoyed the "down time"and thought it was WAY COOL to order themselves!

We had a category 11 and got room service. One night before dinner, DS had a meltdown so we skipped. Not only did we order room service, but our waiter brought us up some food from the dinning room. It worked well.

We too have used room service when we have a verandah and when we have an inside stateroom. While nothing can compare to the pleasure of enjoying your morning coffee and rolls out on your own private balcony, it's also a great way to get your quick cup of coffee and a snack in the morning to get you going. In inside staterooms, room service is a great "wake-up call" in the morning. We pre-order with the door tag the night before, and they are VERY prompt with the time you request.

We had an inside room and used room service every morning! One of my favorite "mental pictures" is of my DD sitting indian style on the bed with her juice and donut.....she would study the "navigator" so intently planning her day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our room service in our "little" cabin.....

I loved ordering breakfast and taking it out to the table on the verandah and eating out there....we never went to breakfast in the dining room. My daughter would take a donut and her milk and lay back in one of the recliners on the verandah and eat her breakfast and my mom and I would sit in chairs at the table out there and have our breakfast. But I am sure I would have ordered it even if we didn't have a verandah, I hate going to the dining room for breakfast!

We had a verandah and ordered room service the first morning, but it was delivered to the wrong room. Waiting for our coffee was too painful to try room service again.
We found it nicer to get up early, throw on work-out clothes and run up to the coffee station on deck 9 and get a really big cup of coffee and a couple of muffins, watch the sunrise with the whole deck almost to ourselves , then get refills and head back down to our verandah. This would be early - before Topsiders or Lumieres would be open. Later we would go to Topsiders for cereal and fruit and eat outside at Topsiders.
There is no dress code at the coffee station really early, and people show up in robes and casual - a nice way to have coffee in the sea air without a verandah.

Is there some kind of little table/chairs to eat at if you don't have a verandah?

There is a small coffee table in front of the couch. That table can be swivled up so that it is the same height as a dining table. There is a chair neaby so you can eat on the couch and/or the chair. When you are done, just turn the table back down to coffee table size!

You'll love the room service!

We had room service breakfast practically every day of our 4/20 Magic cruise.

There is a nice coffee table in the sitting area that holds the tray just fine.

I'm not one to sit with strangers before I've had my morning coffee - and DH and I aren't big buffet breakfast eaters.

We also ordered snacks one afternoon.

We had an outside cabin, but no veranda.

We ordered room service breakfast a few times on our RCCL trip. We had an inside cabin & I used room service as our wake up call. It gets so dark in there & you have no idea what time it is!

We loved having coffee in bed! We also watch TV in bed on vacation because we don't have one in our room at home so for us breakfast & TV in bed was a special treat :)
