Yep! We'll be eating at Columbia Harbour House. And we get to go in the utilidoors (or however you spell it)--the underground tunnels. We also get to see some behind the scenes parade stuff (so I hear). I think it's gonna be awesome!! :woohoo:

Hi! I'm subbing - You are such a sweet couple, I just have to see your TR when you go! My son and his wife and 2 little ones just moved to San Antonio - they are new teachers at a Jr HI in Castroville! The people there have been so wonderful to them - we aren't so used to "nice" out here!:rotfl2: I miss them, but it could only be God the way it worked out for them - we helped with the move, and I'm looking forward to going back and exploring Texas a little more!

Hi!! Thank you for reading! :cheer2: I'm excited to go so that we can have a TR! :thumbsup2 Oh wow--how are they liking SA? Michael absolutely loves it, and I've really enjoyed it every time I've visited. Yes--OK and TX are full of "niceness"--it's one of the things I love most about these parts. Isn't it awesome when you know that God is the one working it all out?! I hope you like exploring Texas!! I love it there...I wouldn't have a problem at all with moving back ;)

Sorry I have neglected to update recently…there just hasn’t been much going on in the Disney Planning Business…
But…I finally have an update!
We had another Disney Date Night last night!! It was a ton of fun—probably one of my favorite nights ever. And I’m not exaggerating. I just love hanging out with my hubby! This time, we went with MULAN.
I got home from work (Michael works out of the house part of the time since he’s a youth minister and doesn’t have to be in his office) and he had this all set up:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/06DisneyDateandRandom004.jpg
We have had SOOO much fun with this game! We’ve already played it 4 times since we got it last week. This first game, he won. I couldn’t roll anything but 1s and 2s!!! But it was still a ton of fun.
Then, I made some of this:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/06DisneyDateandRandom005.jpg
It was yummy. I love homemade stir-fry. We have an amazing wok, and it just makes it so much easier for it to turn out good.
After that, we watched this:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/mulan8.jpg
We just love this movie. I sang along to all the songs, and Michael joined in on most of them. But he made fun of me when I even knew the song that plays during the credits…What can I say, I love this movie!
We watched all of the deleted scenes and decided that it was much better the way it is. We also tried to watch the music videos, but couldn’t finish one! The 98 degrees/Stevie Wonder one was bad. But Raven was even worse. And Jackie Chan should NOT be a music video guy. Oh—and Christina A. had horrible hair. Sorry—we weren’t impressed with the videos! But it was funny making fun of them!
After that, we played two more games of this:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/06DisneyDateandRandom004.jpg
I won the first one by a mile!! I kept rolling great dice, and he got all the 1s and 2s this time. Since it was over so fast, we played again, and it was SOOO close! We were both in “All Play to Win” at the same time! I don’t think that’s ever happened. But he rolled first and won. It was great!
I know it probably doesn’t sound like the most exciting night, but we had a blast just being silly and hanging out!

I am so eager to get my hands on Disney Scene It!! We only have the Harry Potter one and my DH refuses to play because I always kick his butt at it. :rotfl: Sounds like y'all had a great Disney Date Night! We have been enjoying getting through our list of Disney & Universal movies that have attractions based on them too. Some of these movies I haven't seen in FOREVER! We watched Beauty & the Beast the other day, and DH kept telling me to stop singing. :rolleyes1 Come to think of it, he said the same thing during Lion King! :rotfl2: What can I say, my 2 favorite soundtracks!
You must be getting excited...y'all are SO CLOSE! :woohoo:

I have a Disney trivia game. It folds out into the shape of a Mickey head! I also have Disney Monopoly. We don't have the Scene Its though. I think Joe wants the Pixar SceneIt. He loooooves Pixar.
I love Stir Fry! That looks yummy!
I've never seen Mulan. Ever. All I know of it is from playing Kingdom Hearts games. If they ever made a land/park out of Kingdom Hearts...wow I'd be so happy.
Remember how excited we were to be in double digits?? We're gonna be in single digits before we know it! :yay:

It is SOOO fun! But be sure to get the original. I bought Disney Scene It 2 for my family a few years ago, and I didn't know any of the movies! Isn't it so fun watching all of those old movies?! We just love it! Haha!! They just need to sing along and then they wouldn't think we were so weird :rotfl:

I can’t believe it. I’m doing two new posts in one day!!
I’ve decided to start posting my outfits for our trip. Yesterday, I went through and picked the clothes that I will probably wear. There are no guarantees… I’m taking extras so I can decide to wear something different if I so choose.
I’ll also include our itinerary for the day and some rides/attractions we don’t want to miss!
Without further adieu:
DAY 1: Sunday, September 20
Fly out of DFW before 8 am.
Arrive in Orlando a little after 11 am.
Catch Disney’s Magical Express to Animal Kingdom Lodge (Jambo House)
Check in and hopefully see our room (but I’m not counting on it)
We’ll probably grab a bite to eat at the Mara
We’ll have our swimsuits in our carry-ons, so we can go swimming and just relax at the resort for a little bit
My first Disney Outfit will be:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/06DisneyDateandRandom008.jpg
When we’re good and relaxed, we’ll head over to Downtown Disney
This is my outfit for that evening:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/06DisneyDateandRandom006.jpg
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/06DisneyDateandRandom007.jpg
We’ll go to whatever store interests us
And eat at Wolfgang Puck Express (Marketplace)—I’m so excited about this food!
Then, it’ll be back to the resort for an early bedtime and a relaxing night’s sleep
I’d love to hear your feedback! Let me know if you have a place that we just HAVE TO go to in DTD. Or if you have tips about check-in or the first day.
Up next: Epcot Future World and Magic Kingdom Evening!
Oh—one more thing. My friend and her little girl have been spending a lot of time with us this summer. Addi is just precious! She loves reading all of my old Disney Books. She’ll sit through about half of one before she moves on to the next. She also loves playing with my old Flounder and Sebastian stuffed animals (my mom found them and gave them to me the last time I went to visit them). Here’s one of my favorite pictures from this summer.

My Parents have Disney Trivia! Soooo fun!! But some of the questions are really hard! :scared: Michael likes Pixar a lot too. I didn't know they had a Scene It. WHAT?!?!?!?! :scared1: You HAVE TO watch Mulan! It's so cute! What is Kingdom Hearts? I know--we're getting SOO close! :dance3:
Kingdom Hearts is only the best video game EVER! It combined characters from the Final Fantasy games with Disney characters. You had to go and fight the Heartless and bring light back to all the worlds. The different worlds were different Disney movies: Tarzan, Alice in Wonderland, Nightmare Before Christmas, Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, etc. The second one even had Port Royal from Pirates in it. You fight to save the worlds along side different characters. Most of the time it's Donald and Goofy but my favorite person to fight with was Beast. They made two of them for PS2. Great games! :thumbsup2 I may have to play one this weekend lol. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingdom_Hearts
I really like the color of the dress you have! Cute outfit!! I have to plan mine soon. I usually throw everything in a suitcase but I end up forgetting stuff. This time I'm going to plan my outfits in advance!
She is adorable!!

Hi, I'm catchin' up. Sounds like a fun date night. I convinced DH to play Scrabble with me the other night because he's been playing it on facebook a bit. I still beat him though!
I love your outfit, so cute. I love dresses, need more though.
I had to laugh though because as I was scrolling down I didn't read your day 1 itinerary, just looked at the top half of your 'first disney outfit' and thought that it sure looked a lot like a bathing suit! Then I figured it out, it was!

Yay! Another Disney date! Never played Disney Scene It before, but we play Disney Monopoly and Disney "Think Fast" for Wii. VERY fun! Your date looks awesome though!!
And cute outfits! Love the bead necklace! DTD...let's see..you must go to...The Art of Disney! Such a great store, especially the disney artwork by Larry Dotson, I am DETERMINED to have one of his paintings in my house, the only problem is, which to choose! You really have to google them to appreciate them! Truly amazing detail.

Nice! I've never heard about it, but I'll for sure have to check it out! I sometimes try to stay away from video games, because once I like one, I'm ADDICTED!! :upsidedow In fact, when my sister comes and stays with Michael and me, I can't pull myself away from Sallie's Spa on her iTouch! :rotfl: I could play Snowboard Kids on N64 for hours. It's usually the silliest games that hook me... I'll have to check out Kingdom Hearts! Thanks--it's SUCH a comfy outfit. :goodvibes Yeah...I'm a list maker/planner. So it just comes naturally to me. Thanks--We absolutely love spending time with her!
I LOVE your day one outfit! So adorable! We too own Disney Scene It and I always kick everyone's butt at it. What can I say? I know my Disney movies.
Thanks! It's one of the most comfy things I own :goodvibes You know, it's funny, but Michael has beat me way more than I've beat him. But we both get practically every question right...he's just a luckier roller :upsidedow
Where did you find that precious swimtsuit?
The picture with Addi is PRECIOUS!!! What a beautiful little lady.
I actually bought the top at Kohl's (it's croft & barrow) and the bottoms somewhere else...I didn't like the ones that went with it. I love it because it's perfect for youth things and stuff... :goodvibes Thank you--I think I'm going to have to frame it. She's SUCH a pretty little girl. She looks just like my friend.

Sorry I've been so MIA these past few weeks. We had a huge computer issue at work, so I took a forced vacation/break from work for a week! (Last Wed afternoon we got sent home and I didn't come back til yesterday.) We drove up to Moore to spend some time with my mom, sis, and two cousins and had a blast at Celebration Station. Since I found out I prob wouldn't have work again Friday, we decided to borrow clothes and stuff and stay the night. The weekend was busy, but fun. And then I finally got to do a little work from the house to make up some time on Mon and Tues. Only 10 hours combined...but it's better than nothing. My boss told us to come in Wed whether we had computers or not. And we had them when we got here! :thumbsup2 So I've been back at work, and back to the Boards.
As far as an update goes, I'll take pics of my clothes for day 2 tonight, so I can post Day 2 tomorrow (hopefully). I'll also try to get some pics of my work break up too.
On a kinda-related Disney note, I'm super bummed. I applied for a Disney Rewards Visa today. Well...I meant to go to the site where you get the $50 gift card after your first purchase. Instead I went to the normal site. After I applied, I realized we'll only get a $15 gift card back. :headache: I know it's not a big deal...but I was frustrated when I realized my mistake!
Since we only have 6.5 weeks (YAY!!! :dance3:) until our trip, I really need to get to work on our packing lists. We need to know if we need to buy anything else...
Our countdown callendar has lots of complete rows crossed off! I get so excited every time I go in our closet and see it! :woohoo:
I want a regular sized Hipster, but I don't want to pay full price. I'm horrible at ebay...I always forget that I'm supposed to be watching bids. And they don't have a lot on Amazon. Does anyone know where I can get one at a disounted price? When does the VB website usually put bags on sale? The ones on sale now aren't ones I like much...
Anyway...sorry for the randomness. It's been a really crazy past week (with not knowing if I'm coming in to work until each morning). I promise I'll update for real soon! :thumbsup2

I was wondering where you'd been! It's getting so close now. Today is my final payment due date. :woohoo: You know it's getting close when that creeps up on you! That means I'll be getting my documents soon!!!!
I've gotten everything off VB directly. The retired patterns are usually discounted and they just had a sale on the mini-hipsters last week. If I see anything, I'll let you know.
Looking forward to more posts!

Yay! You finally watched it! Yeah...there are some sad parts. I can see how it'd hit close to home for you. But isn't it good?! :thumbsup2
Its very good! I love those kind of movies--the inspirational, maybe somewhat cheesy sports flicks. :goodvibes
Yay for finally watching Mighty Ducks! It is a bit silly (what with the flying v and all lol) but it's a great movie. :thumbsup2 I'm a huge hockey fan so I love the cameos too. ;)
I really enjoyed it!! I also love hockey!! Its almost as good as football ;)
Sorry I've been so MIA these past few weeks. We had a huge computer issue at work, so I took a forced vacation/break from work for a week! Here’s a quick mini-TR on our day at Celebration Station!
If you missed the back-story, my company sent us all home because of computer trouble. I missed almost a week. So Michael and I went up to see my family. My mom, sister, two cousins, Michael and I went to Celebration Station for the afternoon! :woohoo: Even though it would have been nice to have gotten paid, it was a good break and we had a blast!
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/08CelebrationStationetc035.jpg
We bought all-day go-cart wristbands, and had a ton of fun riding!
Here are my cousins and sister waiting in line. All of the cousins on my dad’s side look like they could be siblings!
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/08CelebrationStationetc005.jpg
Before the race…
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/08CelebrationStationetc008.jpg
I did really well during the first race. I think I probably won. (It’s so hard to tell…) My cousin J tried to cut me off, but I got back at her and passed her on a loop.
The second time, we were in the cars from the other lane, and I had the second-fastest car. My cousin J tried to cut me off, but I got back at her and passed her on a loop.
The third ride, however, STUNK. Bad. Everyone decided to call their cars. Well, the girls all kept their cars from the first ride, and I wanted to keep mine (remember…it was by far the winner!) but Michael asked if he could please ride that one once because it was his football number from high school. Being the nice, sweet wife that I am, I let him. BIG MISTAKE. :headache: I went so slowly that I was able to take this while I was driving!
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/08CelebrationStationetc004.jpg
Here’s a self-portrait of me after that race…
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/08CelebrationStationetc013.jpg
My head was spinning a little after that, and I was hungry, so my mom and I went in to order some cheesy breadsticks. Pretty good for family fun center food. Sorry…no pic.
After the others finished their race, they came in and joined us. We went back out for one more race, and I KICKED BUTT! Seriously…I was so far ahead of everyone. And my mom happened to get that race on video. Score! Here I am after the race. It’s my “I WON!” Happy Dance.
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/08CelebrationStationetc017.jpg
We decided the cheesy bread was worth another order, and went in for some more. We also decided to buy a few tokens and play a little. I don’t have many pictures of that, but here’s one of Michael thinking he’s a really fast racer.
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/08CelebrationStationetc016.jpg
We gave the girls all of our tickets and let them buy some of the little junk they have as prizes. They came back with twirly things and Sour Heads (I think that’s what they’re called…) Here’s my sister and I after putting them in our mouth.
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/08CelebrationStationetc015.jpg
I know that’s a horribly unattractive picture, but I had to share it. Those things were killers!!
After our snacks and cool-off time, we headed back outside for some mini golf! The course was actually really pretty. It was challenging too. They had 3 levels; we chose moderate.
Mom on the first hole
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/08CelebrationStationetc022.jpg
This one was really fun. You had to get it in one of the two holes and then into the bottom hole.
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/08CelebrationStationetc026.jpg
A few of the holes were up in another story. You had to climb up stairs and then they were in little house looking things. It was cute!
Here’s a shot of the little houses
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/08CelebrationStationetc024.jpg
And here’s the view from them:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/08CelebrationStationetc029.jpg
Michael was definitely the winner. Here he is with his winner pose.
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/08CelebrationStationetc033.jpg
And I was definitely the loser. I’m really no good at mini golf. But at least I have fun. I tend to be that way…I’m super competitive if I’m good at it, but if I know I’m not, I can just sit back and have a good time being the loser.
I wish my dad didn’t have to work…he is SUPER competitive at mini-golf. Last year, my mom beat him for the first time since they’d been married, and the bet was that if she beat him, he’d wear a dress. Let me tell you…my dad in a red Hispanic moo-moo is hilarious! :rotfl:
Anyway…here’s one last group shot!
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/08CelebrationStationetc028.jpg
We had a ton of fun. It was definitely better than being at work all day! :thumbsup2

DAY 2: Monday, September 21
Since we will have gotten into bed fairly early the night before, hopefully we’ll be really rested and ready for our first day in the Parks!
Here’s my outfit for the day. I’ll decide on jewelry that morning.
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/08CelebrationStationetc041.jpg
Here’s a close-up of the shirt. It’s got a lot of little holes in it. It’s super-super-soft too!
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/08CelebrationStationetc042.jpg
I’m planning on packing Pop-Tarts and Cereal (no…we’re not healthy breakfast people…but we do have to eat something…) so we’ll grab a quick bite to eat in the room. Then, we’ll grab a bus, and head to Epcot for Rope Drop. :woohoo:
Once we’re through the turnstiles, we’ll head over to the right side to gear up for our trek to Soarin’! I’m SOOO excited for Michael to ride this. I think it’ll be a perfect “first ride of the trip”! I just loved it in ’06!
After Soarin’, we’ll head over to the Seas pavilion to watch Turtle Talk with Crush, ride Nemo, and look at the fishies.
We’ll hopefully be eligible to grab FPs for Test Track after that (we’ll get a set for Soarin’ first thing) and then head over to see the little purple guy named Figment! *Side note…I don’t have a clue where it is—if I even have it anymore—but I used to have a Figment stuffed animal from my trip when I was 2! :cutie: I don’t think I knew what he was, but I liked him a lot.* I really want to spend however long we want in the Imageworks studio. Michael and I are big nerds (closet nerds, as I like to call us) and I know we’ll have a ton of fun in here and in Innoventions later on.
We might take in Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. And we might try to stop in at the Character Spot. But we might not. :confused3
Whenever our FP is ready for Test Track, we’ll get a set for Mission:SPACE and then head over to the TT! Michael is SO excited to ride this. They were making this ride when he was here with his family, and they were so bummed that it wasn’t open yet.
We will have lunch at Sunshine Seasons whenever it’s lunchtime…either before Innoventions or after Mission:SPACE.
We’ll head over to Innoventions and enjoy our time there. My family spent some time in here on our past trips, but his didn’t take any time exploring. I think that’s probably why he didn’t like Epcot as a kid. So hopefully this will change his view!
When our FPs are ready, we’ll head over to Mission:SPACE. I don’t know which side we’ll go on. I’ve only been on the non-spinny side. We both DON’T do spinning rides. But I hear this one is so much better on the Orange side. Any thoughts?
Sometime during the day, we’ll stop by Club Cool (he doesn’t know about Beverly! :rolleyes1 ) and ride on Spaceship Earth.
After we’ve done all we want to in Future World, we’ll head back to the resort.
I have a feeling we’ll either want to swim or nap—maybe both. After we’re good and relaxed, we’ll get ready for dinner.
Here’s my shirt for the night. I’ll wear jeans…but I can decide which ones there.
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/08CelebrationStationetc043.jpg
The outer shirt is white (even though it looks grey) and the under shirt is purple (even though it looks black…)
Dinner that night is at Coral Reef! :thumbsup2 We’re both excited about seeing the aquariums. Any food suggestions?
We’ll decide if we want to do anything else in EFW…
And then head to Magic Kingdom for SpectroMagic and Wishes! We’ve decided to do this on a different day than our MK day so that we can ride rides during this time on our MK day.
After the evening entertainment at MK, we’ll head back and hit the hay!
I can’t even tell you how excited I am for this day!!! :dance3: Epcot is probably my favorite park and Spectro is my favorite parade. And it’ll be GREAT to really feel like our vacation has started since we’ll be at the Parks!
Let me know if you have any suggestions or feedback!

Okay this is fun...seeing what outfit you're going to wear for what day.
I love the color of that top with those khaki shorts!
The white necklace looks super cute with that shirt for night!
As for eating at the Coral Reef...I definately suggest getting the Chocolate Wave for dessert!

Woohoo!! Sounds like a great day. I always love the ImageWorks area after the Imagination ride as well. yay for nerds!!
Doesn't it get your energy pumping just to think about that first full day in the parks. Woohoo!!
Also, looks like you had a blast at Celebration Station. I haven't been there in forever...used to go there fairly often as a kid and I can remember having a birthday party there one year. Ah...good times.

Thanks! We're so excited. Epcot is my favorite... Figment is really cute. At least I think so. You go on this little ride and learn all about the imagination (A figmant of the imagination ;) ) There are all kinds of sensory things there. And the interactive area after the ride is really fun. This past Monday night, Michael and I packed up after work and headed down to Dallas to spend the night with my grandparent. We stayed with my grandparents, and had such a good visit (they’re my Brazilian grandparents and I always love listening to their stories when I stay at their house). We were exhausted and found ourselves in bed before 9:30! But it’s a good thing, because the next day was fun, yet exhausting.
Since we got to bed so early the night before, we woke up bright and early Tuesday morning, and had to wait about 45 minutes for our alarm to even go off. :upsidedow We ate a yummy breakfast with my grandparents and headed to our college to take care of some stuff.
As we drove to DBU, it was like we were coming home! We met there, and we were in the same group of friends, and we just have so many memories at school. There is one huge addition to our campus, though! This is what we saw as we drove up.

They’d drawn up plans for the chapel sometime during our first couple of years, and even started construction for it, but it just became this massive reality since we’ve been gone.
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags003.jpg
This little building was what you saw when you drove to DBU back when I started school here. It looks so tiny next to the new chapel.
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags004.jpg
Personally, I don’t like it much. I mean, it’s beautiful, but it’s just too stark-white in my opinion. I think it would have been prettier as a red brick building (to match the others) with white trim instead. But I’m not the one that donated 16 million for it to be built!
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags006.jpg
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags007.jpg
After gawking at the new chapel for quite some time, we went to visit my (former) advisor. By the way, I FINALLY GRADUATED LAST WEEK!!!!! :dance3::yay::woohoo: It feels great! Anyway, we went and visited with him for over an hour and then I got to spend some time with the ladies in my old office. I worked on campus for the Marketing/Design Department. I just love those ladies!! I would love, love, love to go back and work for them. Maybe someday…
After that, we decided to take a stab at selling my books back. I’d let them accumulate for the past 3 semesters since I lived out of state. Used to, they didn’t let you sell them back unless it was during a designated time period. But not anymore!! We were so excited when he said we could sell them and even more excited when he gave me a visa debit card with $122 on it! Yay for getting rid of books that I’ll never read again!!
Then, it was SIX FLAGS OVER TEXAS time! For those of you who may not know, Six Flags is a theme park…they have them all over, but I’ve only been to the one in Arlington (near Dallas). Michael had only been to this one once (when he was 9) because he usually went to the one in San Antonio, and I hadn’t been in four years. We decided that we really wanted/needed some “us” time since we’d been bogged down with summer youth activities. We both love theme parks, so Six Flags it was! (PS if you’re in the Dallas area, they have $25 August Tickets…)
As we got closer, we could see this:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags008.jpg
And then this:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags009.jpg
And this:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags010.jpg
And finally this:

**(Can you tell I’m practicing for the glorious Walt Disney World sign?!)
We looked like this:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags012.jpg
I think it’s safe to say we were a little excited! :dance3:
As we were walking up to the gate, we ran into someone from our town. It was so random. Apparently, he was there with the youth from his church. So we visited with him for a little bit, and headed in.
Right around 11:00 am, we headed into here:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags014.jpg
Michael had never ridden La Vibora (it used to be called The Bobslead), and it was close, so we headed over to our first ride.
Let me just say, Disney is MUCH more friendly and accommodating. As we went to get in line there was a bouncer (I should have taken a picture!) making people put all bags and purses in these lockers that you had to pay a dollar for. What the heck?! :headache: Luckily, I was carrying my new VB mini hipster, and Michael had big front pockets in his shorts…so he just shoved it in his pocket. I would have been so frustrated if we had to pay a dollar for every ride!
Sorry…rant over. But Disney really is so much nicer.
Our ride was fantastic!! It’s a six person ride (you can have less) and we rode in the back with two brothers in front of us. The little boy was really cute. He kept saying, “This ride is awesome!!” Here’s a pic of the ride and one of us after we got off.
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags015.jpg
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags016.jpg
Great way to start our day! Oh—and this also started the trend of virtually no lines! We literally walked on to all but a few rides! Score on picking a non-busy day! Now, if only we can have that luck in September… :thumbsup2

Next up was the Log Ride. I know it has some fancy name now, but I don’t remember it.
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags017.jpg
Note the yucky water. I felt like a snob (hi Emma!) all day. :snooty: We kept pointing out things that were very un-Disney and talking about how we’re so excited for our trip. The paint on the railings was chipping off, and there was constantly trash left all around. Also, the TVs in the queue areas had weird things showing… They were very boring. At least at Disney World the lines are interesting!
Anyway… the log ride was super fun and then we wandered over to where we heard a cowboy announce that they were coming out with a Wild West Show at 11:30.
The show was cute. Nothing spectacular, but it was witty and entertaining.
Here are the “good guys”
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags018.jpg
After the show, they said they’d stick around for pictures. Well, a couple of little kids came to get their picture taken, and I think one mom was in a picture as well. Michael could tell I wanted to get a picture too—even if we were the oldest people to go up and pose! So we went up expecting to take a normal posed shot, and one of the guys hands me his gun, and poses me like this:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags020.jpg
They were lots of fun! And one of the guys even recognized us later in the day! :goodvibes
I passed this, and just had to take a picture for you all.
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags021.jpg
Can we say “SpectroMagic Rip-Off”?! I saw a thing on the TV in line for it, and it’s a complete rip-off. They just use glow tubes instead of lights. I thought it was funny.
After this, we were starving and we headed over to Papa John’s for some grub. Let’s just say it was definitely re-heated pizza! I couldn’t even finish my piece. Yucky. But the bottled water was SOOO refreshing!
In order to let our bellies settle, we went to Yosemite Sam’s ride. It’s a cute little animatronics ride. I remember being so impressed with the figures as a little kid. It’s the story of Bugs Bunny and his helpers catching the “bad guy” Yosemite Sam.
I practiced taking these “no flash photography” pictures so I’ll be all geared up and ready to go next month!
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags022.jpg
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags023.jpg
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags024.jpg
Yay! Bugs saves the day!
Next up: Conquering the Giant. We headed over for Michael to ride the Texas Giant. I can’t handle this one. It’s a big, old wooden coaster, and it shakes me to death. With my bad back, it’s definitely a no-go. But he loved it!
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags026.jpg
But I can handle The Titan! This is the most incredible roller coaster I’ve ever, ever ridden! It’s just amazing! :woohoo:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags027.jpg
I must confess, though, I’m not the young spry I used to be. I used to be able to ride this thing multiple times in a row. This time, I blacked out twice during our sole ride!! Just wait…this was just the beginning…
We spotted this handsome fellow and couldn’t resist posing for some pictures. *Side note, Michael was actually the one that asked for some pictures—including this one!* One little, two little, three little Indians!
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags028.jpg
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags029.jpg
We passed this little shop, and I had to take a picture for my mom. She’s OBSESSED with Peanut M&M’s!
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags031.jpg
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags030.jpg
After wandering around for a little while in order to regain our bearings, we headed over to Runaway Mountain. It’s an indoor coaster—and it’s completely black inside! It’s a lot of fun. Again, this one was one Michael hadn’t ridden before and enjoyed a lot.
Here’s one of the outside of the mountain. I must say, it’s pretty good in the theming area. I was impressed.
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags032.jpg
And this is Michael’s super creepy face in the red light in line:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags033.jpg
I also have to say that it stunk like crazy in there!!! :sad2: Just imagine a dark, damp cave where the only air circulation is the entrance. The waterfall created condensation inside, and it made everything musty. Mix with that the nastiness of BO that Texas summers create, and you’ve got it. Sick out! Thankfully, we actually had some air by the time we got on the coaster.
After that, we went to an indoor simulator/big screen ride. I think it’s called “Fly Me to the Moon” and features the little flies from a movie entitled that. I’ve never seen the movie. This used to be a space thing with real people or an airplane thing or something. We strapped in and prepared for our flight to the moon!
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags034.jpg
And we waited. And waited. And waited. :rolleyes1 And finally saw that there was a man looking for his phone that he thought he’d left behind in an earlier showing. After a good 5-10 minutes, he finds it, and we start the show. About 2 minutes in, the lights go on and we think, “You’ve got to be kidding me. That can’t be it.” Well…it turns out it wasn’t. But someone’s chair wasn’t moving like it was supposed to, so they had to start the whole thing over after they found new seats. The show was cute, and the shaking and rumbling and bouncing in the chair was fun, but we left in a pretty dizzy state.
We felt pretty dizzy, so we found a nice bench in the shade to park it for a while.

OOOOOOHHH Looks like you had so much fun! I'm jealous!! We have a little amusement park here. Its like smack in the middle of Downtown Denver so there's really not room for expansion. Tourists hate it, the locals love it. Six Flags bought it for a while and then sold it because its not that great! lol I haven't been in forever!! But your post makes me want to ride some rides!! Luckily I'll be at WDW soon! :goodvibes

When we were composed enough to get on another, we tried our luck at the Mini Mine Train. It’s definitely a mini coaster! :upsidedow
The Mine Train held a little more excitement.
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags035.jpg
There’s this little part where you go into a saloon and see these animatronics people and everything. It was always my favorite part. Well, I shot this on our way in
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags036.jpg
But by the time my camera processed that and adjusted to the “auto-flash”, it only got this inside:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags037.jpg
Oh well. It was still cute. And very mild.
On our way to Gotham City, we saw one of those spinny things that you spin to win. We almost passed it up. But the lady was so convincing that we decided to go for it. While we were filling out the forms, she was asking us all these questions such as “Are you married?” “Do you make over $40,000 a year?” “Do you have a major credit card?” “Is your vacation time flexible?” and some other random questions. Well…we each took a turn at the spinny wheel, and we were both one click off from “WIN!” which would have gotten us 2 nights in either Florida or Vegas. They must have been really slow that day, and she must have really wanted to give away a prize, so she told us she would give it to us anyway!!!:woohoo: We didn’t really know what we were even winning, but we were excited! As it turns out, we got to choose from airfare and 2 nights in either Orlando or Vegas OR a 3 night, 4 day cruise!!! So, friends, it is with big-time excitement that I tell you…..
……….
………….
…………
………
We’re going on a CRUISE!!! :cheer2::dance3::yay::woohoo: Woo-Hoo! We’ve never been on one, and we’ve been trying to figure out when we might be able to go. And now we’re going---Free!!! Yes, we have to go listen to a time-share spheill for 90 minutes, and yes we have to pay a $150 cruise tax…but who cares! We’re going on an all-expenses paid cruise! We depart from Galveston, TX (which is really good for us b/c we can get there in a day) and I think we’ll cruise to the Caribbean. I don’t know all the details yet. Oh—and we also get a scratch off card during the spheill with at least $25 on it and up to another paid vacation! And a $40 credit card. So needless to say, we’re pretty excited!! :woohoo: We can use it any time in the next year. We’re thinking maybe April?? Any suggestions? I’ll let you know when we get the exact info all settled. YAY!! As Michael said, it was worth the $50 to get into the park! :yay:
On that happy note, we practically skipped over to Batman. This is an absolutely awesome inverted coaster. Again, I used to be able to handle it with no problem. Not so anymore. Even though we had a fun time on it, we felt really bad when we got off. We let everyone go in front of us, and then we stopped by the exit to take pictures of the next ride while we let our equilibrium get back to normal.
These are my favorites that I took:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags039.jpg
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags040.jpg
Against our better judgment, we decided that we could also conquer Mr. Freeze. This ride goes from 0 to 60 in a matter of seconds. And then you whiz through the sky through twists and turns and, if I’m not mistaken, loops…all to land completely vertical up in the sky. And then you go backwards and do the whole thing in reverse! I used to LOVE this ride. But by the time we got off, I thought I was going to die. And if I didn’t die, I knew I was going to pass out. Thankfully, I did neither. But I can guarantee that we made a beeline for the closest bench. Michael’s entire face was completely white. He almost lost his lunch. And I was so dizzy I could barely sit. In fact, I had to lay down on the bench for a little bit. We were completely wasted—because of roller coasters!! I felt like a big baby. Needless to say, I didn’t get a picture of Mr. Freeze. I was too miserable to even think about a camera.
After we sat on the bench for at least 10 minutes, we felt like we might be able to walk again. We headed straight to the Cold Stone Ice Cream store and ordered a half sweet cream, half strawberries with graham crackers cup of ice cream. (Sorry—no picture…) It was DELISH! :thumbsup2 We slowly savored every bite and really enjoyed just sitting in the cooler air.
After our treat, we knew that we were in no way riding anymore roller coasters, but we could ride a couple of the non-coaster rides before we headed home. Let me say here that I was really sad about this. We’d yet to ride the coasters I grew up on. There were 3 that have been there for a really long time, and I can still remember the first time I rode each of them. But we absolutely knew that we could not handle it that day.
So we decided to brave the Roaring Rapids! It was a hot day, and we thought that a nice little splash of water might be nice. Here’s a picture of one of the groups coming in:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags041.jpg
The closer we got to the entrance, though, the more we doubted our decision. Everyone was coming off drenched! We almost changed our minds right before we got on, but we decided to take the plunge (literally).
Oh my goodness. I have never gotten that wet on a rapids ride ever—except at a water park, of course! Every single person in our tube was soaked. We all “got it” so many times. By the time we got off, we looked like this:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags042.jpg
I don’t think Michael had one dry spot on his entire body. I had one little patch of dryness on one part of my shirt. I had to carry my purse because I couldn’t put it against my soaking wet body! But…even though we got soaked, we had a lot of fun! I screamed and laughed and “tried to not get wet”—yeah right! But it was fun.
We decided to ride one last ride and call it a day. We headed towards the parachutes. I think it’s called Texas Chute Out. I remembered this being a much slower ride. We got up there, I snapped this picture,
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags043.jpg
and we came back down. And I almost lost my stomach. I think it was just because I was already so shaken up from the roller coasters. It was a gorgeous view though! We could see all over Arlington. I wish we could have just stayed up there for a couple of minutes.
After the Chutes, we decided to see when the saloon show was showing. It had started 3 minutes before we got there! Stink. We really wanted to see it, but we didn’t want to wait another hour for it to start again.
So we went back to the car, got our backpacks with our changes of clothes, and headed back into the park to change. It felt so good to get out of those nasty, wet clothes!
I’m almost embarrassed to admit this, but we left the park around 5:20. That means we were at the theme park less than 6.5 hours! I don’t think I’ve ever left while it was still daylight before. Oh well. Sometimes you just have to face the facts. And this fact was that we are not as resilient as we used to be. :confused3
As we headed home, we kept our eyes peeled for something to eat. We eventually saw a Zio’s and that sounded really good! Again, sorry…no pictures. I think I was still traumatized by the roller coasters. But I had Cheese Ravioli on a Net of Pasta with half marinara sauce, half alfredo sauce. It was INCREDIBLE! My favorite thing there. Michael had some kind of ziti with mushrooms, peppers, pepperoni, and chicken. He loved his as well. Oh—and the bread and dipping sauce was incredible! YUM! :thumbsup2
On the way home, I read some of the book we’re reading out loud. It’s called Boneman’s Daughters by Ted Dekker. He’s by far our favorite author. We have a whole shelf in our living room for his books. This one is really good—but kinda creepy. If you’re a reader, I highly suggest you read one (or all!) of his books. He’s the most gifted writer I’ve ever read. And I’ve read a lot. Every time I read one of his books, I think to myself: “This man is a genius! I have no clue how he does it!” Anyway…we enjoyed our drive home.
It had been such a great day! Even if we couldn’t handle the roller coasters very well, we still had a blast just hanging out with each other! I’m so glad I married my best friend. Life would be so boring if I didn’t. Oh—and we won a cruise, which made everything even better! :woohoo:
Up next: Day 3 plan and clothes (I’ll post it by the end of today)

HOORAY FOR THE CRUISE!!!
I'm uberjealous!! I am planning on going on one is 2011!! What cruise line is it?
It had been such a great day! Even if we couldn’t handle the roller coasters very well, we still had a blast just hanging out with each other! I’m so glad I married my best friend. Life would be so boring if I didn’t.

Congratulations on winning the cruise! That's awesome! :woohoo: It was really nice of her to give it to you even though you didn't land on "win." You're going to love cruising. It's SO much fun. What cruise line is it?
We have a Six Flags here in NJ and the one you went to looks just like ours. Batman especially. It's probably the same exact ride! Sounds like you two had a fun day. I completely understand about not being able to go on rides like that anymore. We went to Hersheypark a few weeks ago and I went on everything and felt like I was hungover the next day. I thought I had a concussion!! :rotfl:

DAY 3: Tuesday, September 22
Tuesday, we’ll wake up bright and early to make it to Disney's Hollywood Studios by rope drop. We’ll eat a quick breakfast and get ready for a super fun day! :woohoo:
Here’s my outfit for the entire day (we’ll just stay at DHS until we’re ready to head back).
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags045.jpg
Here’s a close-up of the necklace. It was taken without a flash, so the colors aren’t perfect, but you get the picture…
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/09SixFlags047.jpg
Let me just say, this is one of my favorite shirts ever! It’s SOO comfy and I just love how it fits…
Anyway…
Once we get to DHS, we’ll wait on the Left side so we can be closer to Toy Story Mania when the rope drops. We’ll make a mad-walk to TSM and secure some fast passes for later in the day before we hop on.
I absolutely cannot wait to ride this! :yay: It’ll be a first for both of us! I am almost positive that Michael will beat me, but I’ll give him a run for his money…
After that, we’ll head over to Sunset Boulevard to ride Rock’n’Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror. We’ll also try to get FPs for one of them when we’re eligible for another. We’re both anxious for these. I’ve never ridden ToT, and Michael has never ridden RnRC.
Once the “BIG THREE” are conquered, we’ll either go to StarTours or MuppetVision3D. I am worried about StarTours with the way I didn’t handle roller coasters or motion things well at Six Flags. I think we might be needing a little break (aka Muppets) after those 2 big rides. :upsidedow We’ll just see…and then we’ll ride whatever we didn’t ride next.
I have a feeling it will be about lunch time after this. So we’ll grab a bite to eat at either Starring Rolls or Studio Catering Co. (Any opinions?)
The afternoon will really be all worked around the different shows. We’d love to see as many as possible. I’m going to try to find the schedules before we leave and hopefully the show times will be at least close to correct. But as of right now, it’s up in the air.
We want to try to get in:
Beauty and the Beast (my FAVORITE! :lovestruc )
Lights, Motors, Action (I think we’ll both really enjoy this…I don’t think Michael has seen it, and I haven’t)
Studio Backlot Tour (Michael’s done this, I haven’t)
Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream (I really wanted to go through this, and then Michael was looking at attractions online the other day and pointed out that he wants to make sure we go to this too…so it’s official!)
Magic of Disney Animation (I’ve always loved drawing and I used to trace the characters in my Disney Books when I was little) And the Drawing part after the show
If we have time (which we should for at least some of these):
Voyage of the Little Mermaid (we’ve both seen it, but really like it)
Indiana Jones Stunt Show (I’ve seen it 3 times, but I don’t know if he has…Cars wins if it’s a showdown)
Possibly the sound booths at the Sounds Dangerous (just going in through the gift shop)
The Great Movie Ride (not a favorite, but it’s ok)
Sometime in there, we’ll be eating supper at Sci-Fi Drive-In! This was another one of those back-up restaurants. But after I showed the pictures to Michael, he decided he didn’t even want to try to change our ADR! So now we’re really excited about the decorations and just the entire ambiance of Sci-Fi. Any suggestions on food? I hear the cheeseburger is great!
We’ll head back to the resort whenever we feel like it. Depending on when we get back, we might take a dip in the pool or explore at AKL. Who knows…
We are both SOOO ready for this day! Michael is a huge movie guy, and he really enjoyed MGM last time he was here. I have loved it when I’ve come too, but it’s “my family’s” least favorite park. I think it might have been for the fact that we always had little kids with us before. I’ve always wanted to spend more time here, but the longest I have has been a ¾ day. So needless to say, we can’t wait for our DHS day!!! :thumbsup2
Oh—and here’s an update picture from our countdown calendar! It was actually taken a couple of days ago…we’re over half-way finished now! Today, we're at 37 days! :dance3:

I love that necklace!
Maybe we'll see you this day! :yay: We're planning on doing rope drop at DHS this day too and making TSM our first ride!
The shows at DHS are all great. See the stunt show. It's great the first time around (after you've seen it more than once and you know how all the tricks are done...it loses it's luster!).
You've never been on ToT???? :scared1: Best. Ride. Ever.
Stay away from the pasta at Sci Fi. I got it and it was COATED in garlic. Bleck! Everything else was pretty good though. :thumbsup2

Congrats on winning the cruise! That is so awesome! I love your mini TR from Six Flags. I went to Darien Lake on Tuesday with my mom, little sis and Maddie. It's always been known as Darien Lake, but Six Flags did own it for awhile. However, they decided to sell it back to it's original owner (or something like that) a year or so ago. I've been going there since I was little and it used to be so big to me. Now, it really isn't. I too kept comparing it to Disney. There was so much chipping paint and no one that worked there was friendly. I also couldn't stand it there people were walking around with just bathing suits on! :scared1: It was not a pretty sight to see! I too "black out" a bit when I go on coasters. I still love them though! I've been "blacking out" on roller coasters that go upsidedown for quite a few years now. It never used to happen to me when I was younger though. Strange!

WOW, Congrats on the free cruise!! How exciting!! My sister just came back from a cruise to the Bahamas and had a blast. I bet y'all will have a great time.
I love the clothes you have picked, so cute. I'm such a bum at Disney. I'll be seen in sweats/shorts and t-shirts.
Looks like good plans so far. Your trip is so close!! :dance3:

Thanks! I've had it for a few years, but I still like it a lot... YAY!! :woohoo: That would be so cool if we saw each other! We'll have to keep each other posted on our plans... I've always wanted to ride ToT, but I've always been with kids. This is the first time we don't have to do anything we don't want to do, and we get to do all the things we want to do :thumbsup2 Good to know. I was kinda looking at the pasta. Thanks! We're so excited. I hope there's not some kind of catch. She said there's not, but we won't know for sure until we go to the meeting. :confused3 Thank you! Necklaces add so much to clothes. My favorite necklace ever is one I made... I went to the fabric section at Wal-Mart and you know those add-on things for curtains or decorations? Like with tassles and things? Well, they had some pearls (fake, of course) on a string...I'm sure I'll be wearing it with an outfit, so you can see what I'm talking about. Anyway, I cut it and turned it into a long necklace (tied it in a small bow) and I LOVE it! I get compliments on it all the time. You might see if they have it at WM still... Cheap and easy way to start :thumbsup2 Thanks--Yes, the burgers and shakes look SOO good!!

Free cruise?! Wow, totally lucky!!! So excited for you! Dbf has been on a cruise before, Carnival to Cozumel, Grand Caymans and Belize, but I've never been, so you will definitely have to fill us in.
Here's my tip on StarTours. I get motion sickness, more-so vertigo than motion...now I've been on StarTours before and liked it as a kid, but it is VERY bumpy. My problem is the confined places. Last year (Dec 2008) we went to get on it, I was fine and then all of a sudden, the one side of the door closed and my seatbelt locked and I wanted out NOW. The rooms are very small and thankfully they let me out in time with Dbf staring at me like what the heck happened?? But truthfully, you can try and sit down first and they give you a last warning kind of thing and if you think you can't handle it, then don't do it, cause believe me, I know if your stomach gets messed up, you are OUT for the day. :sad2:

Hi all!
Let me start this post by showing you what we found when Michael fried some eggs day before yesterday:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/10DisneyPurchases002.jpg
Do you see the Hidden Mickey and the heart?! *Hint: the heart is on top (we’ll say it’s a heart balloon because it has a funky string of yolk coming out of it) and the Hidden Mickey is on bottom!* I was really excited! :thumbsup2
Anyway…Disney was probably on the brain because a few hours prior to this, I found this in the mail:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/10DisneyPurchases010.jpg
AAAHHHH!!!! :yay: This means our trip is getting closer—and that it’s really going to happen! Does anyone else feel like it might just be a dream until you get confirmation like this in the mail? I was super excited!
It’d been a really tough couple of days (some really bad news from a friend, another friend from high school passing away, and my cousin finding out she has a brain tumor). Needless to say, I needed something to distract me. This—and my wonderful husband—helped me feel tons better! It was exciting to look through it and get excited about our trip together. He’s never used DME before, so it was fun explaining everything. I’m SOOO ready to be there! :goodvibes
Yesterday, we decided we needed to run to Wal-Mart to get a couple of grocery items. Before we even hit the grocery section, I asked if he wanted to do a little shopping for Disney. Let’s just say a little turned into quite a bit! But now we have practically everything we’ll need (besides the snacks we’re taking with us).
We bought Moleskin (I’m not guessing we’ll need this, but it’s better to have it and not use it than need it and not have it), Ponchos (the ones from the athletic section—mine is white, and Michael’s is blue), sunscreen, earplugs and a face mask (I don’t usually sleep with these, but sometimes I do if I’m away from home and people are noisy/on the plane where it’s bright).
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/10DisneyPurchases006.jpg
We then proceeded to the shoe department. Normally, I don’t buy Wal-Mart shoes. I’ve always been a little skeptical. But these were really comfy! They’re Dr. Scholl’s brand, and they have a gelly thing in the heel. I wanted another pair of shoes that I didn’t mind if I got yucky (by walking hours upon hours a day and getting wet on water rides). After Disney, I can wear these to camp when we do workcrew weekends, or things like that. Michael liked the fact that his were Velcro. He said he felt trendy. :upsidedow
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/10DisneyPurchases008.jpg
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/10DisneyPurchases009.jpg
Then I went to buy some spaghetti strap sports bras (not pictured!) and Michael went to get more boxers (also not pictured!). We also each got some nice socks. Mine are super comfy! They’re sports socks with breathable-ness and moisture control and support and things like that. Then he looked for another swim suit, and I found this new swim suit top:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/10DisneyPurchases007.jpg
After all that, we finally went and purchased our 10 food items. Needless to say, it was a much larger shopping trip than was anticipated, but a lot of our “needed before Disney items” are purchased! :woohoo:
Oh—and we went home and watched Madea Goes to Jail. Hilarious! :rotfl:

Sorry to hear about the stressful time you're going through. I'm sure things will get better.
Those are the same ponchos we bought! (Tony had blue and I had yellow) They are very durable and they don't stick to sweaty skin. Keep the little plastic bags that they come in. Once we got home, we folded them back up and put them away for next time. We always carried a plastic grocery bag with us too. After the rain ended, we'd throw our wet ponchos into the bag. Then, when we got back to the hotel, we'd throw them over the shower to dry or I'd wipe them down with a towel. Like I said...very durable!

DAY 4: Wednesday, September 23
On this day, we’ll be heading to the Magic Kingdom! :goodvibes We will have been to MK for the evening entertainment on Monday, but this will be our first (and only) full day in the park.
We’ll wake up bright and early (in vacation-terms…not real world terms where I wake up between 6:15 and 6:30 every morning) to get ready for the day.
Here’s my outfit for the morning and afternoon:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/10DisneyPurchases014.jpg
And here’s a close-up of the necklace:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/10DisneyPurchases012.jpg
We’ll aim to be at the bus stop around 7:45 so we can be at MK before rope drop. I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this or not, but I have NEVER been to a rope drop! Ever! I’m just dying to see the cute little rope drop show at MK. And it’ll just be so good to get to the parks early and beat the crowds. I have become much more of a morning person in my old age and I think it’ll really come in handy at Disney. I’d much rather get up early and go to bed early. We’re also looking forward to getting most of what we want to experience completed in the morning and early afternoon so we can take breaks most afternoons.
Anyway…
When the rope drops, we’ll head over to Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. I’ve ridden this and love it, but Michael hasn’t. We’ll grab FPs for later, and then hop on the stand-by line.
Next up: Fantasyland.
We’ll probably head to Pooh and then to Peter. But we’ll just see what we feel like and what the waits are. Then on to Snow White.
We might go to Toontown to meet Mickey, but we might wait until the evening. Who knows. I’ll probably leave it up to Michael.
Then, it’s on to Frontierland!
Hopefully, we’ll be eligible for another set of FPs, and we’ll snag a set for Splash Mtn. before we hop on BTMRR.
We’ll visit the Pirates in Adventureland and then check to see if our Splash Mtn. FPs are ready. If they are, we’ll go on that. If not, we’ll visit the Haunted Mansion.
Now, I know that some of you are very, very passionate about the Haunted Mansion (jenjolt). And I need to confess something. I’ve never ridden this before! Like I’ve said before, I’ve always been with little kids. And when you go with little kids, the trip is usually all about them—whether it’s planned that way or not. But not this time, my friends! We’ll be riding whatever we want. Including the HM! I’m really excited about this!
After this, we’ll head back on over to Fantasyland to finish up our touring there. If there’s not a long line, I’d like to ride Cindy’s Carousel. But I know that Michael thinks they’re a waste of time…so ONLY if there’s not a long wait.
We’ll also ride IASW! I know I’m in the minority, but I really do enjoy this ride. It just brings back so many memories. My mom made me a lamp that played “It’s a Small World After All…” when you pressed the clown’s belly. And it’s one of my very earliest memories. :cutie: And I’ve always been so fascinated by the little dolls. So I’m looking forward to this little boat ride.
Hopefully we’ll be eligible to get FPs at Mickey’s PhilharMagic, and we’ll do so before we head to lunch.
We’ll probably eat at Cosmic Ray’s, but it’s not set in stone. It would be a good lunch place in conjunction with our afternoon plans though!
After lunch, we’ll head over to Monster’s Inc. Laugh Floor. I’m really looking forward to this! It wasn’t there the last time I went to Disney, and corny jokes are always appreciated. We’ll have to think of a funny one to text in.
Depending on when we’re eligible for another FP, we’ll grab one for Stitch’s Great Escape. Now, I must say, I have no desire to ride this. But Michael has always regretted backing out of riding Alien (or whatever it was called) before it became Stitch. He was little, and it just scared him. So even though I told him it’s not the greatest (I’ve heard), he really wants to ride it. So we’ll grab FPs at some time (unless the stand-by line is super short) and try it out. Some of his requests have really surprised me, but it makes me happy to know he’s getting into the planning and stuff. :thumbsup2
Another first for this trip will be riding the TTA! After hearing how much it’s loved (tinkgurl) I had to add it to our list. I’m looking forward to a relaxing tour of Tomorrowland.
We’ll also use our FPs for Buzz sometime while we’re over here.
I’m sad that Space Mountain is down, but Michael is REALLY upset. This was the one ride he was looking forward to the most. He loved it as a kid, and he was practically devastated when he found out it wouldn’t be working while we’re there. But I told him this would just make it where we could come back again! ;)
We’ll probably head on back to Fantasyland to use our Mickey’s PhilharMagic FPs and then see if there’s anything else we want to re-do or first-do.
We’d also like to catch a Captain Jack’s Tutorial and possibly a Story Time with Belle. Both of these look really cute. We’ll probably visit Tom Sawyer’s Island sometime and take a ride on the WDW Railroad. He’s also never seen Toontown, so we’ll visit Mickey and Minnie’s houses sometime as well. These things might be before or after our break.
Sometime mid to late-afternoon, we’ll head back to AKL and nap or take a dip in the pool. We’ll get fixed up for dinner and head out. Here’s my shirt for the night. It’s another one of my favorites:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/10DisneyPurchases011.jpg
This night, we’ll be eating at Kona Café for the first time. We originally wanted to go to O’Hana this night, but we’re excited for Kona after we looked at the menu. I think we’ll love it. Now, I had my heart set on trying a Lapu Lapu. Do they serve them at Kona?
After a (hopefully) delicious dinner at the Poly, we’ll head back to MK to ride whatever we didn’t get a chance to ride/we want to ride again. :goodvibes
Since we will have already seen Spectro and Wishes, we can just enjoy our time on the rides and attractions this night. I have a feeling we’ll try to ride on either Dumbo or Aladdin’s carpets since we won’t have ridden on them earlier. But really our plans are just up in the air for this evening.
Whenever we’ve exhausted ourselves and ridden all we want to, we’ll head back to our gorgeous AKV room and get some shut-eye.
I have a feeling we’re going to LOVE this day. But I’m pretty sure I’ve said that about every day. Each park is just so different…they’re all great in a completely different way. But there’s something special about being in Magic Kingdom and being able to see the Castle just feel the magic…
Oh—and exciting news! I won this little beauty on ebay!
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/vera2.jpg
I’m sooooo excited! :yay: I am not very successful with ebay. I usually stick to Amazon or buy directly from sites. But I happened upon this and placed a bid. I had actually forgotten about it over the weekend… But when I got to work this morning, I saw that I had an email saying I won it!! And it was a good deal—only $37! I should get it in 5-7 days. Now I'll have a mini and a regular Hipster so I can switch them up. I can’t wait!

Never been on HM? :scared1: I love, love, love that ride! The song is always stuck in my head and I love when Disney puts me on hold and that's the music I hear. You're going to love it! I'm with Michael on being bummed about SM. One of my favorite rides ever. I'm sad I'm going to miss it this trip!
I'll be at MK the day before you for MNSSHP!
I like the color of that shirt. Cute! I'm going to recognize you by your outfits. :rotfl:

No...never!! I know. It should be blasphemy :scared1: I'm so excited to ride it. It's awful when they have to have things shut down while people are there...but since they don't have a "down time", it has to be that way. YAY! You will LOVE MNSSHP :woohoo: So cute. Thanks! Haha--that would be hilarious if you do!

Cute clothes!! Your MK day sounds great. We found meeting Mickey in Toontown to be the easiest right at the TT rope drop. We only waited about 10 minutes, but the line can get very long later in the day!
Haunted Mansion is awesome!! I hope you enjoy your first ride on it, it is a classic!

I can't believe you guys will be there so soon!!! Cute outfit!! And your plans sound great for MK!! We went to O'hana and there is a bar next to it. I tried to get J to order a Lapu Lapu (just so I could have a tiny, itty-bitty, taste) but he said no thanks, ha! So you can order it and have a seat while waiting. Kona looked really good, so we may try that next time.

Your poor DH about the Space Mountain ride~!! I could do without EVER riding it again! ( I am a BIG chicken!) I was just screaming the entire time "get me off this ride!!" The guy in front of me got mad at me when I got off and said I needed to not yell so loud! My DH will totally want to check out the new one, though...so I guess I am forced!! Do you like it?

I have to say . . . they are delicious! DH and I shared our first one last year when just the two of us spent a couple of days at Disney while he was attending a convention. He specifically requested we add Kona to our list of ADRs this trip - partly because of the Lapu Lapu.;)

Alrighty. I need help!
I just found out today (I know...where have I been?!) that they've extended the date for the Wishes Dessert Party. Michael and I saw this and wished that we could attend, but it was before it was going on during our trip. Well...now it is!
I would REALLY like to be able to do this! The question is: do we go on Monday (our Spectro and Wishes night) or Wednesday (our MK day and we were planning on riding things during Wishes)??? :confused3
I would love to have a good view of the castle for Wishes (so it'd be better to do the dessert party on Wed), but I'd also like to be able to ride things during Wishes (so it'd be better to do the dessert party on Mon). I just don't know!!!
But I have to make up my mind soon so we can see if they even have spots still available. I called earlier and the dining system is down...so I have a little time, but not much!
PLEASE ADVISE!!!

Wow what a tough decision. I think you need to decide how important the rides are to you...if you really want to ride the rides during the fireworks go to the show on Monday! From all the reviews I have read you can still see Spectro from the location and the view of Wishes is amazing...plus all those desserts!!! Good luck deciding, I can't wait to hear what you choose!

Well....
Nevermind about what night we should go to the Wishes Dessert Party.
Michael and I decided that it'd be a fun, special thing to do, and we'd want to go on Monday night. We have a 4:00 dinner ressie at Coral Reef, and then we'll be in Magic Kingdom for the evening. We also decided that the no-crowds and dessert would trump the pictures we would get if we watched Spectro close up and were in front of the castle for Wishes.
I called Disney Dining during lunch (and got the Main St. USA song in my head :headache: ). I didn't catch the CM's name, but she was very, very friendly. She took all of my information and then tried to book the party for us for Monday night (the 21st).
All full.
Ok. That's fine. I have a back-up. How about Wednesday?
All full. :guilty:
She asked if there was another night we'd like to look at, but there really wasn't. This was the only night that would really work for us. Oh well...that's one way to make a decision :upsidedow
Even though we can't go to the dessert party, we're still SUPER excited for our trip and it'll be good to be up close to Spectro and see Wishes from the front.
I mean, come on. We're going to be at Disney World! :woohoo:

I wish I could see Spectro so bad. I think Landon would LOVE all those lights. But they aren't showing it on any good nights for us. We don't have the park hopper option, and the times we will be in the MK are MNSSHP nights! Oh well...you can't do everything!!

DAY 5: Thursday, September 24
Our original plans for this day were to sleep in and be at Epcot for World Showcase Opening at 11:00.
Well…………………….
As many of you know, these are no longer our plans.
On Thursday, we will be waking up bright and early (again) to head to Magic Kingdom for our 8:30 Keys to the Kingdom Tour!!!! :dance3:
Before I get ahead of myself, here is my outfit for the day:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/10DisneyPurchases018.jpg
Now that that’s over with, let me say that we are SOOOO excited about the KTTK tour!!! Michael said that it’s what he’s most excited about for our whole trip. We were wanting to do something special this trip, and we’d tossed around a lot of ideas, but when we decided on the KTTK tour, we were VERY excited. :woohoo:
We’ll be getting to MK by 8:00 or so (our earliest morning) so we can start our tour at 8:30. I was hoping that we would be in a nearly-empty MK, but it’s EMHs, so that plan is shot. But hopefully it will still be fairly low on the crowd-scale.
For those of you who have been on this tour before or who know people who have been on it, how do you handle the “no backpacks” thing? We’re planning on me carrying my mini or regular hipster during the days and Michael carrying a backpack with water, ponchos and all the bigger stuff. So what do we do on this day?
We’ll end our tour by eating at Columbia Harbour House (included with the tour) and then leave MK for an afternoon at Epcot.
I went to New Orleans a few years ago, and every since then I’ve been craving Beignets. I think I ate six while I was there. :lovestruc Well…I hear they sell them at Port Orleans French Quarter…and I REALLY want to stop by there on our way to Epcot to get some.
My question is: What would be the best way to get there if we decide to go? Would it be best to take the Monorail to Epcot from MK and then get on a bus to POFQ and then back to Epcot on a bus? Or should we just take a bust to POFQ from MK and then back to Epcot on a bus? Is it possible to walk from POFQ to Epcot? I know it’s close on the map, but I’ve never been there before so I don’t know if it’s even a possibility. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Oh—and if you’ve had the beignets there and they’re not good, let me know so we don’t go out there for nothing!
After we (possibly) get beignets at POFQ, we’ll head over to Epcot to enjoy an afternoon at the World Showcase! I just love the WS! There’s something about being able to go to all of those different “countries” and experience a taste of their culture.
This day is a lot more relaxed as far as planning goes. I know we’ll start in Norway and ride Maelstrom and look around. Then we’ll backtrack to Mexico to ride the Gran Fiesta Tour. I’m excited for Michael to ride this (and we still need to watch the movie!!) because it’s both of our heritages! He’s Hispanic, and I’m half Brazilian and half white…so we represent all three ducks. After we look around Mexico, we’ll go back to Canada and work our way around the WS counter-clockwise.
I don’t know what all we’ll be doing in the WS. It’ll be a play-it-by-ear kind of day. We might watch some of the movies (any suggestions?) and we will hopefully watch some of the entertainment in the different countries. I’ve been watching the entertainment times, and I’ve written them down, so hopefully it’ll work out with our touring.
Some things I definitely want to see/experience are the World Showcase Players in either the UK or Italy, Dragon Legend Acrobats in China, Matsuriza (drummers) and Miyuki (candy maker) in Japan, & the Voices of Liberty in the USA.
Do you have any other must-dos in the WS? I’d love to hear your favorites!
Sometime that late afternoon we’ll head back to our resort and rest/relax and get ready for dinner. I’ll change into:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/10DisneyPurchases019.jpg
For our dinner at Teppan Edo! :yay: I ate here in 2006 and loved it. As I’ve mentioned before, Michael has never been to a Hibachi grill, and I know he’ll love it. I don’t think I’ve said this before, but rice is my hands-down favorite food. I love all kinds of rice. So I know I’m going to really enjoy this meal!
We’ll spend the rest of the evening walking around WS and just enjoying our relaxing night. Then we’ll catch a good spot for Illuminations! Michael has never seen Illuminations, and I’m anxious for him to. I know he’ll love it.
After Illuminations is over, we’ll head back to AKL for a good night’s rest before our last full day in the parks.
Ahhh…I just know it’s going to be a great day! :goodvibes

Thanks for posting that the dessert party is booked up. I was thinking of trying to do it too so you saved me a phone call!
I think your best bet to POFQ would be to just take a bus from MK and then a bus to Epcot. If you took the monorail, you'd be doubling back to Epcot. It doesn't really make much sense you know?
I can't believe we'll both be there in a little over three weeks. Where did the time go?? Not that I'm complaining! :rotfl:

I have also been on the KTTK tour and I LOVED it!! I also had Matthew as my guide and he was AMAZING!!!! Yes you can bring your backpack and camera however they will tell you when you should put it away!!! You will love this tour!!
As far as must dos for WS...definitely try to fit in the American Adventure, I adore this presentation and I think you and Michael would get a kick out of it!!! I also enjoyed the movie in France...the music was very nice and it was just a great place to relax and see some great images of France!!

Also...hate to break this to you...but I am actually eating a beignet right now from Cafe Du Monde! haha I am totally not kidding! We live right outside of New Orleans and we just got one in our city. Did you know they sell the mix in a box so you can make them at home? I can send you some if you can't get them online! Thanks for the tips! I'm glad to hear you loved it! Good to know about the water as well...this will save us carrying 4 bottles around :thumbsup2 We're SOO excited :yay:
I have also been on the KTTK tour and I LOVED it!! I also had Matthew as my guide and he was AMAZING!!!! Yes you can bring your backpack and camera however they will tell you when you should put it away!!! You will love this tour!!
As far as must dos for WS...definitely try to fit in the American Adventure, I adore this presentation and I think you and Michael would get a kick out of it!!! I also enjoyed the movie in France...the music was very nice and it was just a great place to relax and see some great images of France!!
Once again you have amazing outfits, I should have you help me pick out accessories. Where do you find a lot of your necklaces, I would love to be able to accessorize on my next trip to Disney!!
Reading your review of the KTTK tour was what sold us before we booked! :goodvibes Thanks! We're really, really excited about it!! Thanks for the WS tips. I've seen the American Adventure, but I've never seen the France movie...we'll try to fit them in! Thank you! The biggest thing I like about them is that all of them truly are comfy--I'm not one to kill myself over fashion. But thankfully there are some cute, comfy things out there now :thumbsup2 I might have gotten that one at Wal-Mart...I don't remember. I also look in department stores (JC Penny and Dillards), Target, and Forever 21. Sometimes I'll go into Claire's. We used to have a place called Goody's and I loved their cheap, cute jewelry. I really just look wherever. One thing I've realized is that I don't do well with huge earrings. I have a smaller face and they just look way overpowering...so I try to stick with smaller earrings (I LOVE pearls) and have more necklaces. Hope that helps!
I'd like to know this too!
See above :thumbsup2
That stinks about the dessert party! I guess just keep calling back and trying...you never know when someone will cancel!!
We are doing the KTTK tour too, and I'm totally psyched about it! DH and I have never done a Disney tour. I haven't heard anything but great things about the tour, so I'm sure you'll enjoy it, and can get me even more excited about it!! :goodvibes
Great plans so far. :thumbsup2
I think I will call back periodically. And if we still can't get in, we're ok with it...but it would be great! :goodvibes We are SOOOO excited about the tour! I'll let you know how it is--I'm sure you and your DH will love it too!! :thumbsup2

Heyy I just caught up and u have to let me know how the MK tour is! Seems like everyone's been doing it lately I might have to do it when we go back lol
The voices singers in America in the WS were reaalllyyyy good make sure u get a spot in front of them so u can see their faces, it makes a huge difference!
I will--we're really, really excited about it! :yay: You should try to fit it in next time. We just wanted something a little out of the ordinary. Good to know--we'll get there early. About how early? I've heard SUCH good things about them. :goodvibes
So excited to see how the tour goes:banana: That is something my DH and I want to do when we travel to Disney kid free for an Anniversary Trip sometime in the future!
They are to die for :cloud9:
Sounds like your day will be great!! I would also love the opportunity to go to MK that early...will be so nice and peaceful! Can't wait to read more...
I'm so excited to see how it goes too :thumbsup2 I'm sure you would love it! And I'm sure you'll love a "just the two of you" trip sometime :goodvibes ARE YOU KIDDING?! I would LOVE to be there eating beignets :lovestruc I went to their website and found the mix (which makes up to 4 dozen!) for only $2.45!! Thanks so much for the tip! I had never tasted anything like them. I think I could have eaten all 4 dozen by myself! I'm very excited about this day--I only wish there wasn't EMHs that morning. Oh well...it's still going to be incredible!! :goodvibes

DAY 6: Friday, September 25
This day marks the start of our last full day in the parks. :guilty: Even though it’s sad, I’m sure we won’t even think about it being the last full day—we’ll be too anxious for our Animal Kingdom day! :woohoo:
Once again, I’m guessing we’ll wake up and eat some of the breakfast snacks from home (which we bought Monday evening) before heading out for the morning/afternoon. Here’s my outfit for the day:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/10DisneyPurchases015.jpg
Hopefully it’ll be a VERY short bus ride to AK since we’re staying at AKV. On that note, I’m not fully looking forward to the bus rides to the other parks…since AKL is the farthest away from everything. Oh well.
Once again, we’re planning on making it to rope drop. I hear there’s a really cute little safari rope drop show, and I’m excited to see it. Also, this will be Michael’s very first time in Animal Kingdom! It wasn’t open the last time he came to WDW.
After park opening, we’ll rush over to Expedition Everest to snag FPs and then hop on the ride! I’m sooo excited about this. And I know Michael will love it! :thumbsup2
Once we’ve risked our lives by going on the Yeti’s mountain, we’ll head over to Dinoland USA to (possibly) ride Primeval Whirl (if we’re not too shaken up from Everest :headache:) and then ride DINOSAUR. Side note—the first time I rode this (when I was 15), I almost took my aunt’s arm off from holding on to it so tight on this ride!
I’d written down that we would head over to ride Kali River Rapids next, but after our planning meeting last night (more on this later) and remembering how stinking wet we got on the rapids ride at Six Flags, we decided this is a no-go. In fact, when I asked Michael if he still wanted to ride this, his exact response was “Heck no! Not unless it’s the very last thing we do. I don’t want to walk around wet. And I didn’t even have fun on the other one because I was getting so wet! No.” So there you have it. Kali is not on our list. :snooty:
I have a feeling we’ll make our way towards the Tree of Life to take some pictures and see It’s Tough to be a Bug next. I think Michael is going to love this! It’s one of my very favorite 3-D shows!
Depending on our FP return time, we might make our way back to Asia to use our other FPs for EE. I’d like to take time to walk through the different trails, so we will probably visit the Maharajah Jungle Trek either before or after we ride EE.
Whenever we can get another set, we’ll go over and get a set of FPs for Kilimanjaro Safaris. I know that a lot of people say to do this first thing in the morning, but I’ve had good experiences in the afternoon before when the weather is cooler. And since we’re staying at AKL, I know we’ll get chances to see a lot of the wildlife.
After we get our FPs for KS, we’ll probably stop for lunch. We’re planning on either getting the AK Picnic (has anyone tried this?) or going to Pizzafari. By the way, we’ll have to decide which that morning because if we want to do the picnic, we’ll have to place our order ahead of time. Any suggestions?
After we eat, we’ll either go back to KS or to the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail (depending on our FP return time) and then do the other.
Also on our list is Festival of the Lion King as well as Finding Nemo—The Musical. :goodvibes I absolutely Love FotLK, and I’ve heard such great things about Nemo. So we definitely want to catch these. So we might be watching one of these in between our other plans (if we can see it’s pretty empty in the park) or waiting and doing both of these later on in the afternoon. Any tips?
After we’ve done all we have planned for this day, we’ll hop on a bus back to AKL to relax and get ready for our dinner at Boma!! I can’t tell you how excited I am for this meal! :thumbsup2 It’s my cousin’s family’s favorite restaurant in all of Disney World, and I usually really enjoy foods from other countries.
That night, I’ll be wearing:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/10DisneyPurchases016.jpg
My favorite thing about this shirt is the back—it has a low back with a bow at the top:
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/10DisneyPurchases017.jpg
Anyway…after we eat dinner we’ll head over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to see Fantasmic!!! I’ve never, ever seen this show and I just can’t wait!! :dance3: Michael has never seen it either. I’m really glad it fell this way in our schedule so we could end our last night at WDW with such an awesome show. We’re planning on getting there very early since it’s the only thing we have planned for that night so that we can get good seats.
After we enjoy the show (because I know we will!) we’ll go back to AKL for our last night’s rest at Disney World. :sad2: We’ll probably pack everything up this night so we don’t have to do it the next morning.
Let me know if you have any tips or suggestions for AK, Lunch, Boma, or Fantasmic!
Up next: Each of our top 3-4 rides/attractions at each park and our Packing List!

Wow! I've been away from the boards for so long, I had to read about 6 pages to catch myself up to you! :goodvibes
I love all your outfits! And I really like the necklace you are going to wear on your Magic Kingdom day.
Have you guys thought about wearing your ponchos on Kali River Rapids? I love those kinds of rides, but if you get wet, you get soaked!
We love love love love love Boma! I am so glad you get to go! My favorite parts are the hummus and the dessert! :)
You are almost there! I hope you guys have the best time! :wizard:
Oh! And I think Fantasmic is an absolutely wonderful way to end your vacation!

Looks like a great AK plan! :thumbsup2 We too are avoiding Kali when we go. I don't mind getting a little wet on Splash Mountain, but I don't like walking around drenched, neither does Dustin! I'm pretty much terrified of Dinosaur too! :scared1: It's so ridiculous because I know it's fake, but we almost always end up buying the ride picture because I always look like I'm about to die of fright. lol

I adore both of your AK shirts! So cute! Your plans sound very nice for that day. If the EE line is a bit too long for your taste, don't forget about the single rider line. No, you won't be able to ride together, but if you end up loving EE....you can just keep getting back into the very short singles line!

I actually made that necklace...I just bought a yard or so of it in the fabric section at Wal-Mart and tied it in a bow :goodvibes I wear it at least once a week! You know, we thought about doing the poncho thing...but one of the things we hate the most is our shoes getting wet. And they got SOAKED at Six Flags. So I really think we're going to skip it. Just not worth it in our books. :upsidedow I can't believe it's getting SOOO close! Thanks so much!

I've heard the Hot Italian sandwich is REALLY good. But I've never had it. Last time, I went to Flame Tree BBQ. It was good, but BBQ and heat just don't mix well in my book... And the breadsticks sound yummy! :thumbsup2 Let me know if you do the picnic and if you like it!!

I just stumbled upon your PTR today and just got all caught up! I love reading about all of your outfits and plans! It helps me relive the magic of our vacation. You picked out such cute outfits that look comfy too! I like the top you are going to wear to AK.
One side note, a while back you mentioned you are eating at Coral Reef and asked for suggestions? Well, we just ate there last month for the first time and actually enjoyed it. I know the food gets "eh" reviews, so maybe it was because we weren't expecting much, but I really liked my meal. I was going to order the tilapia entree, but our waiter was awesome and actually recommended the mahi mahi over it. Boy am I glad I listened to him! He would tell us if we tried to order something "not so good." I cleared my plate, and I usually find mahi to be to beefy for me. Also, do not order the strawberry cheesecake for dessert. I made that mistake and didn't realize there was "no sugar added" aka - blech. The chocolate dessert that my DH looked good.
Also, we LOVED, loved, loved Kona. I have eaten there one other time before and loved it then too. The bread with the macadamia nut butter....heavenly! :cloud9: Anyways, enough of that, back to your report!:)

Needless to say, I’m not really looking forward to this day. It’s the day we come home. :sad2:
However, we’ll get up, finish packing, and head downstairs to Boma for breakfast!!!! :woohoo: I’ve been reading about the breakfast there, and I’m almost as excited about it as I am about the dinner the night before. The juice sounds fantastic, and I’m looking forward to having a big breakfast before we head out to the parks.
This day (including what I’m going to wear) is completely up in the air! Our only plan is to eat breakfast, go somewhere, and be back at AKL by 4:30 so we can catch the DME bus.
We’ll head to whatever park(s) that we want to visit one last time in hopes of accomplishing anything we didn’t get to do that we really wanted to do earlier in the week. Or we can re-do things we’ve already done and loved. Michael already thinks he wants to go back to DHS this day, but I really have no clue where we’ll end up. :confused3
Since we’re not going to be eating at Tangierine Café on our WS day (now that we’re eating at Columbia Harbour House with the KTTK tour) we might try to make it over there for a late lunch. Who knows. It’ll be a surprise! :thumbsup2
After we’ve had fun at our park(s), we’ll sadly make our way back to Animal Kingdom Lodge for the last time. :sad1: We’ll use any unused snack credits at the Mara (if we even have any!) and then get ready to catch the bus.
Our flight was originally supposed to be before 5….but then it was pushed back to 6:something and now it’s not until 7:30! This is good for park time, but not so good for driving back home after our plane lands.
Hopefully we’ll have no delays and be on the plane by 7:30. This will put us getting back to DFW a little after 9:00, and hopefully we’ll be home before midnight. It’ll be a VERY long day! But I’m sure we’ll still be so wound up/excited about our vacation that we’ll be chatting the whole way home.
And then it’s back to the real world.
This day will be the end of our First Big Vacation Together and hopefully the start of many trips to Disney World together! :goodvibes

So just to throw this out there....if Michael gets his way and you do end up at DHS...I will also be at DHS that morning!! I'm getting in pretty early and checking in and then driving over to DHS to spend the morning in one of my favorite parks...TSM here I come!! So maybe we can PM each other and exchange information and if your plans bring you that way we could easily schedule a place to meet and say hi!!!!!!
I have to tell you I have heard nothing but amazing things about Boma's breakfast so I know you'll be sending yourselves off in style!!!

Aw, you always hate to hear about the last day! And it always sneaks up on you. Our tradition is to always do MK on the last day. It's my favorite park and I'm pretty sure it's Joe's too. I get so sad walking back down main street toward the exit. :guilty:

Really?! That would be SO great! :woohoo: I'll definitely have to keep that in mind! I really do have a feeling we'll be heading over there--at least for half of the morning! I'll PM you... How awesome would that be?! I'm so, so excited about the Boma breakfast--it just sounds sooo yummy! And Michael and I eat breakfast for either lunch or dinner at least once or twice a week...so we're looking forward to this huge, yummy breakfast!! :yay:

I know...but thankfully I'm just planning the last day...not actually experiencing it! MK is a lot of people's favorites :goodvibes I think mine is probably MK or DHS. And Michael's is definitely DHS. So we'll probably go to both of those :goodvibes

Let me know if you have any suggestions!! Our trip is getting closer and closer!!!! :dance3:
:yay: LESS THAN TWO WEEKS!!! :yay:
Oh--and we got our custom maps in the mail. They're really cool looking. I'll try to post a picture of them soon.
I think I'm going to try to start slowly packing at the end of this week. I'm going to see how many things I can pack now that I won't need the rest of this week and next. I'll for sure be able to pack away the non-clothes things.
I feel like my brain is just frazzled!! I'm so ready for the trip to get here, but there's still so much that still needs to happen between now and then.
Not to mention real life..... :upsidedow

That is one amazing list Staci!! I am in awe!!! I love how you organized your list because mine is not that organized...I might have to borrow somethings off yours to add to mine LOL!!!!!
I am starting to get a bit panicking with how much I have to be doing in the near future!! I think starting to pack would be a great idea and something when I'm closer to my trip I will start to do too!!!!
Loved your update!!

Stitch's Great Escape? Really? Tell Michael to nix that one lol. And no Carousel of Progress?? Blasphemy! Other than that, everything looks good. :thumbsup2:rotfl: I don't see BTMRR on there either. :rolleyes1 You gotta ride that during the day and at night. Totally different experience.
You are making me feel SO unorganized. :rotfl2:

That list sounds like you have covered just about everything!! I have a similar list going that I keep adding to. We'll probably be packing our entire lives when we go with the way the list is growing!! :rotfl:
As far as the must-do's, I have to echo someone above and say Stitch's Great Escape?!?! :scared1: Has he done it before and just really liked it?? Because man do I love Stitch, but hated that attraction! If it's new to Michael, then I do hope he enjoys it but that made me .
Man, two weeks!! I know when I started reading your PTR, September felt a loooooong time away, so December felt like a lifetime. But now your trip is right around the corner, and I'm so excited for you!! And it just means mine is closer too!! Don't stress, you will get all the important things done before you leave, so don't sweat the small stuff. YOU'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!

However, you will be proud to hear that I do at least have our outfits packed and semi-planned. But thats it. :confused3

Thanks Jen! I've been working on it for a LONG time :upsidedow Take all you want from it. I actually got a lot of the items from others' lists.
I know what you mean...I'm starting to slightly panic! I'm having all of the youth girls over this weekend for a sleepover Fri and then a shopping day in the city on Sat...so no packing this weekend. We'll both get it done though! :thumbsup2

Yeah :upsidedow He's very adamant about that one. I've warned him... But he wants to ride it so badly that we WILL be on that ride! :rotfl: He said he chickened out of Alien when he was little and he's always regretted it. So now he has to ride Stitch! CoP is just not either of our favorites...but we might ride it if we have a lot of extra time. Don't worry!! BTMRR is on the list--just not the top 4! Haha--I just have WAY too much time on my hands at work ;)

So we'll be on that ride, by golly! :upsidedow Read my answer above for the explanation... I know--when I started planning this trip, it was October of last year!! I followed you over from another thread because your ticker looks just like mine! Hopefully we'll see you at AKV. Pleade say 'hi' if you see us.
As for checking in on-line I think the DVC owner needs to do that for you. It has to be done from the DVC member site. It should be no plroblem if they are willing to do it for you. We rented points for a while before we decided to become owners and it is an amazing money saving option.
As for your park attraction list - Jungle Cruise is a fun ride if you like sarcasm and cheeky humor. Also it's great at night!

Hey Staci!
Wow, you are SO close!! Promise to update as soon as you get back!:yay:
Let me ask you, what is Innoventions? Is that the Figmemt thing that we talked about? I think I am going to add that onto our touring plans. Do you think a 2 and 6 year old would be into it?
Also, I agree with everything on your not do list! We are so much alike...making a "not do" list sounds great:rotfl: I especially did not like Ellen's thing. We ended up leaving after the movie show. It was nice and cool though, so that was the only plus, a chance to sit in the AC!
Your packing list has been printed and I am using it as a guide for mine...thanks:love: Also, cant wait to see pics of the maps. We got some last year and they were adorable. I had them laminated and we keep them in my closet till we plan a new trip and pull them out again.

Hey Katie! I'll update as soon as possible after we get back!! :thumbsup2 Imageworks is after Figment. Innoventions is divided into East and West. They're located by Spaceship Earth. I think your kids would love all of those places!! There's a lot of hands-on things there. The Kidcot stations (do you know what those are?) and Innoventions and Imageworks were my little sister's favorites when she was 5. There are places where they can jump around and land on things that make noise. Or star in a video game. Or make paper. Or all kinds of fun, interactive things!!
I'm glad we're alike in our "no lists"! :goodvibes Michael and I just aren't for some of the longer, not as active rides/shows. But I know that when we go with my grandparents again we'll be doing ALL of the things on our not-do lists :upsidedow
Yay! I'm glad my packing list helped you!! :thumbsup2 The maps are SO cute. I'll try to take a picture tonight. I'm having all of the girls in the youth group over tomorrow night, though, so it might be Sunday before I get around to taking pics. That's a really good idea to laminate them! I might have to "borrow" that idea! ;)

Your family is so cute! Things at your house must be crazy sometimes with so many kids close in age :upsidedow That's so cool that you all can enjoy Disney b/c there's something for everyone! :thumbsup2

I'm sure your family will probably take it harder on the last day than we do. Kids never want to leave! Are you flying back into OKC? We're heading to Dallas since it was cheaper and a direct flight. I guess we would have been leaving at the same time if the airline didn't change our flight time. We might have been on the DME together! I KNOW!!!! I can't believe how close we're getting!!!! :dance3::yay::woohoo: You're leaving a WEEK from today!!! Ahh :yay:

I just found out that you can check in online thru this website http://www.mydisneyreservation.com/dvc. You just need to enter your reservation number and the info they request. The option for making request is not working. You only need to give your credit card number if you want charging privileges on your room key.
Hope this helps!

My family and I will be there the 21st to the 26th. We are staying off property (thanks to mom's hilton/dbletree connections..employee rate). Anyway we plan to be in MK on wed (it''s my 30th bday) and then and probably monday as well to catch the evening shows. I think we are diong HS on tuesday and firday and epcot on thursday. We are trying to be able to catch all the great fireworks b/c we aren't doing park hoppers. Anyway, I have loved reading your report. Your outfits are too cute. I have made t-shirts for 2 of the days (tye dye mickey heads are drying..not sure if they will make the 3rd shirt or no)
I am starting to pack but have a busy weekend coming up also. Trying to do a yard sale tomorrow morning as last minute extra spending (neighborhood yard sale). Tonight I have our Sisters In Spirit ladies night at church (think my mom may have been planning a surprise b'day thing tonight :rolleyes1) so it should be fun. But I'll be ready to start packing soon!!
Hope to see you there!

Oh my goodness!! Our schedules are almost the exact same! :goodvibes How fun! I hope we run into each other sometime while we're there! Can you believe our trips are getting SOOOO close?!?!?! :dance3: Happy early 30th! Would you mind posting a pic of your family so I can know who to keep my eye out for at the parks? Good luck with all of the packing! The shirts sound too cute :cutie:

Thanks! I don't think I can use this since I rented points from a DVC owner...but I'll for sure give it a try! Thanks!!
My mom is renting points and not a DVC owner and was able to checkin thru this site. That is why I thought you could do it as well. It would be worth a try especially if you are using DME.

Hi Staci - I'm definitely along for the ride. So jealous that you are going so soon! I noticed your wedding date - we have the same anniversary!!! :) Such a beautiful time to get married...I still have so many people say "you got married in Dec?!?!" in pure disgust.
I love you PTR and can't wait to read all about your trip. You're sooo close! I'm just a tad envious! ;)

Hi!! Thanks for reading! :flower3: I'm SOOO excited we're going so soon!!! :woohoo: Sorry--don't mean to rub it in. :upsidedow I'm jealous that you're going in December though--I've always wanted to go then. Really?! I LOVE our wedding date! I think it's just perfect. I'd never imagined getting married in the winter, but it's our favorite season (since it's so romantic and Christmas and everything) so it was perfect for us. Plus, Michael would have had a cow if he had to wear his hot tux in the summer! I do have a question...how do you all celebrate your anniversary since it's so close to Christmas? I'm about to update more...it's right around the corner :yay:

Yay! An update!
Well…needless to say, Disney World has definitely been on the mind since we leave in SIX DAYS!!!! :dance3: Even Michael woke up yesterday morning and said, “I can’t believe we’ll be at Disney World in one week!” We’re both SUPER excited. :woohoo::woohoo:
As promised, here are a few pictures of the awesome maps we got in the mail last week
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/01packingetc001.jpg
They’re customized with “x Family Vacation” stuff everywhere. It made me smile so huge.
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/01packingetc002.jpg
I accidentally made this picture smaller…oops. The maps are double-sided with one park on each side. Our “favorites” are marked with yellow dots, and the other attractions are marked with blue dots.
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/01packingetc003.jpg
It gave us a little sticker to put on our resort. I must admit, I probably got a little too excited when I stuck it on AKL! :upsidedow
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/01packingetc004.jpg
I also wanted to show you all my notecards! I don’t even care that my husband, dad, brother and plenty of other people make fun of me about them…I think they’re going to come in really handy!
I typed them up/made tables in InDesign and then printed them out on 3x5 notecards. I think these will be a perfect way to keep track of all of this little info while we’re in the parks.
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/01packingetc006.jpg
From Top Right, clockwise: 1) Detailed Park Plan: I’ve listed a general plan for each day—i.e. Rope drop at EFW, Afternoon Break, dinner and more at EFW, MK for Wishes and Spectro. 2) Snacks: I wasn’t kidding when I said I want to try all of the yummy snacks you all have talked about! 3) Disney Dining: I’ve listed out where we’re eating each meal. On the right-hand side, I’ve left a space to write in how many credits we used at each place. On the back of this card is a handy little tipping sheet I found on the DIS. 4) Reservation Numbers: I’ve listed the restaurant (or tour), time, and ressie #. This way, if I need to call and change something, I’ll have it handy.
I’ll carry these with me into the parks. And since they’re so small, they don’t take up much room at all!
I also made little cheat cards for each of the parks. They pretty much list out what I typed for our plans. I’ve included tips for different rides, show times, etc. Hopefully these will come in handy as we go throughout the parks.
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/01packingetc007.jpg
Yesterday was also the day that we…drumroll please…pulled out the suitcases!!!! :yay::banana::yay:
Let me just say, our big suitcase is truly BIG! Michael started joking about how he could zip me up in it and ship me to Disney… Well…
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/01packingetc013.jpg
I almost fit! :rotfl:
We decided that since our suitcase is so huge, we’ll try to pack both of us (our clothes…not literally us) in it and then take my purse, a small suitcase, and a backpack for our carry-ons. We’ll see if this works or not. I think it should. But we won’t know until we pack a little more. :confused3
And then it was time to pull out the Packing List!!
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/01packingetc009.jpg
We didn’t necessarily get a lot crossed off the list, but we got a lot of the tedious things accomplished. We packed up all of the snacks (by the way, do these have to be in ziplock baggies too? I couldn’t remember…), started/almost finished most of the quart-sized baggies with our liquids for the carry-ons, & packed some of the non-clothing items like meds and liquids we’ll be taking in our checked bag.
So all in all, it was a very productive weekend!
On a closing note, here’s a few pictures of our countdown calendar! Keep in mind, this morning there’s actually another head crossed off!
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/stacikristine/01packingetc010.jpg

I'm so excited for you!!! As far as food goes...if you're packing it in your checked luggage, don't worry about it. For carry-ons, it has to be unopened (like a fresh box of crackers, etc). No loose bagels, muffins, etc can go through security.

LOVE the picture of you in the suitcase!! We have used Space Bags before to compress our clothes, and you can't even imagine all of the room it frees up! You would definitely be able to get all your clothes in that one suitcase and still have room for souvenirs. There are the name brand Space Bags where you attach your vacuum cleaner to suck out the air, but my mom had some off brand ones that you sealed, and then rolled the air out through a 1 way valve. I'll have to ask her where she got them from.

Let's see. We've definitely made some progress...but we're still a far way off from having everything packed and ready to go. Here's a play by play of the week so far.
Monday Night: I'd been feeling icky all day. I went to the Dr. and she gave me an allergy med. She said my cough was probably related to that. When I got home from work, we relaxed for a while and then decided to go on a date. After the date, we went to Wal-Mart and got the last 4 items we realized we needed. Then, I packed up most of my clothes so they're ready to put into the suitcase as soon as Michael gets packed. I also started sewing/repairing a pair of jeans--they're too long and I needed to make it where a cuff coulds stay put. Now, I know some of you might think this is no biggie...well, for me it is! I don't even sew on buttons with any sort of confidence! :upsidedow We also packed up some more of the stuff for our carry-ons.
Tuesday Night: I did all of the laundry so Michael could finally start packing. I also finished up the jeans :thumbsup2 and figured out the money break-up. As in, how many $1s, $5s, etc. We ate very yummy quesadillas (I found a great chicken taco seasoning that I seasoned the meat with) in hopes of watching the Three Caballeros (or however you spell it...). Well, they no longer carry it at Blockbuster. :guilty: Oh well! We watched 101 Dalmations instead, and it was GREAT!! Michael watched a lot of the bonus features (like the making of and stuff) and it was really interesting.
Today: I've felt like junk. I went back to the Dr. and she gave me a Zpack and an inhaler. I so don't want to be sick at Disney World!! Hopefully these meds will make everything better! I ended up only working until 12:30 and coming home. I made some soup and got in bed. After my nap I was coughing like crazy, but it's died down a little. Maybe everything's starting to work. :) I sat in bed and got all of the restaurant tip money and spending money seperated into ziplocks. I really should get up and work on packing some more, but the rain outside and the cough inside...they're not motivating me much
Sorry...that sounds like quite the downer post. Hopefully I'll be back with a bright, cheery post soon! After all,
:dance3: We're going to Disney World in 4 days!!!! :dance3:

Wow Sunday is just around the corner!!! I packed our clothes monday night. I went through and made sure our outfits matched or coordinated. I'll be wearing a t-shirt with a design made here by WendyPooh that has Cindy and the Prince and says "For my b'day, He gave me the world"
I have gathered most everything else. I still need to print DD's sign for her stroller which says "Princess Abby's Carriage". I want to get it laminated tomorrow. I also want to get our park schedule and resrvation card laminated. I have a dinner honoring Nurses For newborns (the non-for profit I work for) tomorrow night. Then5 babies to see on friday. At 5 pm I am turning my phone off and considering myself on vacation. I have an ALS walk honoring a doctor I worked with sat am and then I'll make sure all the last minute stuff is packed!! Hope to see you there. If my computer gets faster tonight, I need to go back and see what you are wearing Wed to help me spot you
Are you serious it's supposed to rain the whole time we are there? Guess I'm glad I got the two pairs of crocs at the advice of the board!!

Oh my goodness--I know! :woohoo: I really can't believe it. Our countdown calendar only has one half-row left!!! That shirt sounds really cute! You're really on the ball to have packed everything Monday night! I'm completely packed (besides toiletries that can't go in until that day) but Michael is only about half packed. He said he'd be finished by this evening though. It's right around the corner!! Wow! You're busy. Good luck getting everything done :thumbsup2 I don't have much going on at all these next few days. Thank goodness. Just resting and getting better so I'm not sick there. :rotfl: I'm wearing a Magenta shirt and greenish khaki shorts. Yeah, it says it's supposed to rain big time. Stink. :sad2: Oh well! Been there done that--a week of rain at Disney! It's still fun. I don't have any Crocs...I've never been a big fan. But maybe I should have bought some :confused3 We're Scotchguarding everything today! We'll be there before you know it!!!! :yay:

I just talked to my mom about the bags, and she got them at Wal-Mart. They are called Pack Mates and they are in the section with storage/Rubbermaid containers. Here they are online to give you an idea of what to look for: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10740617
Bummer about you getting sick!! I hope you start feeling better soon so you feel great for your trip! Keep your spirits up, you are GOING TO DISNEY!! The humidity will clear your nasal passages. :thumbsup2

Scotchguard seals the rain out... We spray all of our coats and shoes and stuff for snow skiing--it works miracles! Last night, Michael sprayed our bags and shoes. Hopefully it'll keep the rain out and our stuff dry :thumbsup2 YAY!!!! Congrats!!! :yay: That's so exciting! :woohoo: I know--can you believe we'll be there SOOOO soon?!?! :dance3: Thanks--I am.

I just wanted to say.....
I'm going to be at Disney World in TWO DAYS!!!!!!
:woohoo::yay::dance3::cheer2::banana::woohoo::yay: :dance3::cheer2::banana:
I really can't wait! :goodvibes
And everything is being checked off the to-do list quite nicely!
Last night, we finished packing all of our clothes (we have a lot of room left in the big suitcase and it's under the 50 lb limit :thumbsup2). We packed as much as we could on our carry-ons (we have to add books, electronics, toothbrushes, etc) and Michael Scotchguarded our bags and shoes. :woohoo:
It really is sinking in that in two days from right now, we'll be on a plane to DISNEY WORLD! :dance3::dance3::dance3:
I think I forgot to mention this, but I was able to check in online through the website haleofafamily posted about (thanks)! Today, I'm re-looking at our flight info, getting together addresses we'll need for postcards, and calling the bank to raise the limit on our debit card (to pay for the meal plan, etc.).
Tonight, we're going to clean the house a little, put our stuff in the Scotchguarded bags (they had to dry all day today), and get to bed early.
Tomorrow, we'll sleep in as late as we can (which gets earlier and earlier all the time :upsidedow) and then head down to Dallas. We're meeting my cousin (who is also one of my best friends!) for lunch at Cheddar's (Michael and I LOVE the honey butter croissants :lovestruc) and then heading to my Aunt's house for the night. My cousin and her two girls are living with my aunt for a while, so it'll be a lot of fun to spend time with them! The girls are adorable! We'll get in bed early since the next day...
We'll wake up around 5 to get ready to head to the airport!!!!! :yay: Even though it's super early to be getting up, I'm so glad we got an early flight! This means we'll be in Orlando by 11:15! Hopefully we'll be delay-free, and we'll be on our way to DISNEY WORLD on the DME! :woohoo:
And that, my friends, will start the beginning of our 1st Ever Trip as Mr. and Mrs. to the World! :goodvibes

Well, it's getting closer and closer! :dance3:
I called the bank and upped our daily debit limit.
And re-checked the airline stuff.
Michael bought postcard stamps and I got addresses all set.
I cleaned off my camera card and Michael cleaned off the video camera card--so we're set and ready to take pictures/videos like maniacs :upsidedow
I also updated the music on my iPod/added the 3 new CDs I bought (I don't know if I mentioned this or not, but I bought The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast online for less than $4 a piece!! :woohoo:).
We played 2 rounds of Disney Scene-It (Michael beat me both times...why can't I roll anything but a 1 or 2?! :headache:)
And then we played Monopoly while we had a Disney Sing-Along! :thumbsup2 I can't say it was the best singing ever, but we had fun--oh, and the interpretive dance moves were out of this world :rotfl:
Michael just brought our Scotchguarded things back in, and I'm about to start putting the last items (besides our toothbrushes, etc) into the carry-ons!
AHHHHHHH!!!!!! I can't believe it's actually almost time!!!!! :dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3:
That's all for now--just wanted to give you all a quick update on how things are moving along :thumbsup2
