I know this really has nothing to do with rumors or news...but, I think this board has some of the most knowledgeable people when it comes to Disney history, etc.

I usually ask for a few books as gifts for Christmas. I'm not big on reading fictional stuff, but like to read historical / biographical books and I also like to read books about how things are built / made.

Do you have any recommendations for books about the history / building of Disney World?

Also...I would like any recommendations on books about how / why attractions were built at the theme parks. As an example...I was looking at the Imagineering Field Guide to MK and Epcot to start.

Thanks...

David Koenig's Realityland - True Life adventures in Walt Disney World is really good. Very entertaining

Hi- well this probably wont help much, but at Disney World in some of the shops. Mousegear in Epcot- I found some really nice books in there about how the castle was built and just about the parks. I bet you can find it on Main Street too, and at Disneyland.
Sorry if you are not planning to go there or anything- but the next time you do (if you are) just look around in the stores and you may find some interesting books.
