I want to ask for a great Photo Organizing Software for Christmas. I have several years worth of Digital photos on my computer (and backed up on disks!) and right now they are in a hodge podge of Windows folders. I want to be able to very easily sort and catagorize them. I would love to be able to make notes (is that possible?), show what I have had printed and what still needs to be (is that possible?). I am sure there are many other features I want that I don't even know I want yet!

I don't do digital scrapbooking and have other things that can do editing, so that it isn't necessary, but would be a plus.

I know CM has a software but I have never seen it so no idea if I would like it.

Any recommendations?

I use the CM Memory Manager software.... I have 13,600 pics stored on it. :scared1: I really like it -- I organize my pics within it the same way I would in "real" power sort boxes... I think the red eye reduction brush works well as well as some of the basic editing tools... (cropping, changing colors to b/w or sepia, etc.)

I know a lot of digital scrappers also use ACDSEE and love it ... I think you can get a free DL somewhow too.... but I'm not sur ehow...

I was so happy to see this because I was going to ask a similar question. I currently use PHotoshop Album 2 and have 5,000 photo's tagged. I backed them up to an external hard drive and went to go put them on a different computer. It appears that the tags don't go with it! If I'm going to have to resort I want to get software that will let the tags be backed up as well. Does the CM software do this? Any help would be appreciated!
