My husband and I are waiting for our WLV paperwork and I have a couple of questions. Does anyone have any information on a 5-year pass? We usually buy annual passes, do you get a discount for being a DVC member on the annual passes?

We bought the minimum number of points and realize that we probably will add-on later. Is there a minimum number of points that you can add on? If we added on at another DVC resort such as the BCV or one of the other ones through a resell, could we make reservations at that resort 11 months in advance? Thanks for all your help.

The "five" year pass is essentially a 5 day hopper per year for four separate years, which you need to use by the end of 5 years. I beleive the cost is about $750 before tax. There are no DVC discounts on the AP. Current minimum add on is 25 if paying cash, 50 if you want to use Disney financing, and 100 if you want to use magical Beginnings. You can add-on at any resort. However, the 11 month window applies only to the particular points for a resort. Thus, for example, if you have 150 at BWV and buy 50 at VWL, Only the 50 can be used with the 11 month window at VWL.
