Hey Keven,
It's apparent that the move of the head chef of California Grill (Can't think of his name) to the head Chef at EPCOT, may be paying dividends with San Angel's food quality. The menu has changed, and now includes filets with several dishes. Nothing will have changed, however if they haven't changed their awful chips and dip though. Anyway, it may be time to go and take another look and give us a report. We can over look the poor service, if the food quality has improved. We've come to expect poor service their anyway. This time, be sure to make an ADR.

If you overlook poor service or food quality without voicing your opinion of one or both, why would Disney need to improve either?

Nah, couldn't find anything worthwhile. I'm snuggling with Suzy, getting ready to watch the Bourne Ultimatum. It puts me to sleep every time.
Enjoy the Amazing Race. :goodvibes Night.

Amazing Race was very good last night although the outcome isn't what I had hoped.

I'm sorry but that one guy in the college guys duo is the most uncoordinated man on the face of this earth. He reminds me of Elaine Bennis on Seinfeld. :lmao:

To stay on topic though, I would love it San Angel improved even marginally. I want to eat there so bad because of the atmosphere, but if the food is horrible and service is poor, why bother...

For what its worth - My husband I ate lunch there yesterday (the last time we ate there was in 96 - thats how bad it was). I thought the food was slightly above average - not outstanding - the drinks were way better than the food - especially the spanish coffee. I had the filiet - it was a nice piece of meat but not alot of flavor. My hisband had the chicken dish - again - it was OK - not stellar. I also had the crab / chip appetizer which I found very refreshing. We went to the rose and crown for dinner - and IMHO it was a better value. WHIP

It is so dark in there. I think they keep it that way so you don't see what you're eating. :lmao:
