Well we leave for our trip in 12 days and have finished all our shirts!! That's the good news, the BAD news is that we started the final vinegar wash to set everything and some of them are not looking so great :sad2:

We will wear them anyway, but have stopped the washing and I thought I would ask what you guys thought? Did we do something wrong? We used the Dark HP transfers, they seemed great, ironed on beautifully so I'm wondering if we did something wrong.

Any input would be appreciated. Here are a few pictures

Some are not so bad but our beautiful MVMCP are pretty rough :sad2: I'm very very sad about that.

I never do the vinegar wash step and have never had a the ink run even when we get soaking wet. Did you pre-wash the shirts with no fabric softener? I don't know of anything you did wrong (unless you didn't pre-wash) maybe bad transfer paper??

This happened to me when I first started and I was doing the vinegar soal and the whole nine yards.

It looks like what was hapen to me when the heat was not hot enough long enough to transfer the design. Sometimes a few seconds makes a huge difference

Thank you both for your response! We did do the pre-wash no softner. I wondered abou the heat thing, it's really a fine line isn't it?? Well thanks again!
