Mothers Day in WDW

This year, my family will be in WDW over Mothers Day weekend.

Looking for ideas or info on special events for that Sunday.

How about a meal at Cinderella's Royal Table in the castle? You know, treating Mom like a Queen for the day.

I think during that time is when the Food and Flower festival is going on at Epcot, or at least it was last year. If you can get ressies for this, you should. I was not there for Mother's Day, but my son and I went a couple of weeks later. There were about 5 different buffet areas set up with delicious food of many different origins. There were gorgeous flower arrangements everywhere. This was a really nice affair.

Last year on Mothers Day I took my wife to the food buffet at EOCOT. It was good. Also, when we entered EPCOT, Mothers were given a flower and throughout the day we could stop for a free photo taken of us by a photographer. It was later sent to us with the option to buy more....spruce

My Mom and I arrived on Saturday before Mother's Day last year. They take free pictures at Epcot on Mother's Day - similiar to the MVMCP pics, they use the World Showcase lake as the the background. I asked her to choose the restaurant for dinner and she picked Cinderella's - it was a very nice dinner. Crowds were low that week. We're planning the same for this May.
