Walmart's Expression Deal

DH and I popped into Walmart today, and they have the Cricut Display up. You can buy the Expression today for $289. Tomorrow it will be $199. It comes with 2 cartridges...Plantin Schoolbook and Home Decor. That made me almost consider getting it, because I assumed it would come with Plantin and Accent Essentials, like normal. I already have AC, so I had pretty much talked myself out of getting the Expression. I did talk myself out of getting the Expression on the drive home though, I would rather get $30 cartridges, but if you already have AC and want an Expression, the Walmart deal is for you.

The display also had the Storybook and Doodletype cartridges and a couple of the "Solutions" cartridges, but I forgot to pay attention to which ones they were. Camping Out I think was one.

Edit: I just remembered they had Graphically Speaking too.

What's AC? Accent Essentials? I got the Walmart deal, but haven't opened it. Is it a good deal? I didn't have the ones that came with it and I haven't used my little bug much..... Will I like this one better? I think so. Any advice, opinions?

Yes, AC = Accent Essentials. On holidays I have problems with my abbreviations. :lmao:

I got one today! Wee! The last one on the display it was like some weird adrealine rush I was so pupmed. And only stood in line for about 20min too.

I also picked one up (dh is putting it under the tree )! If you go to cricut.com there is a rebate for two free cartridges.

they had about 10 left at my walmart today - so if anyone is still thinking about it - i am sure there are more still out there

I just went to the cricut site and couldn't find any rebate. Where exactly did you find it on the site?

It was right in the middle of the page. I just went to www.cricut.com and there was an ad for the "Your Story" product and then it changed to the ad about the rebate. It may have have been showing the other ad when you checked. It took me a couple of minutes to find it myself.

Thanks, it finally showed up after I waited a bit. Two cartridges for only $7.95 shipping is a steal!
