How do you sail on Points w/ the DCL?

hmmm...not much message left... I've seen folks mention that they've done the cruise on points. Anyone know how it works and point cost, etc?

The point costs are in your membership info or on the website. For 2 adults and 1 child sailing regular time it was 424 points. You can also pay for some and use points for others.

The 11 month booking window applies and it is a $75.00 fee to book the cruise. It was very easy to do.

There is a contingent of DVC owners who do not feel as though the cruise is worth the points, you wouldn't be getting your money's worth out of the cruise. That you do better financially to rent out the points at $10/ea and pay cash for the cruise.

To me though it wasn't worth the aggravation to rent out the points, I'd rather just use the points and call it a day.
