View Full Version : My Points Increasing Point Value for Rewards!!!

Hi All,
I don't know if this has been previously posted, but it is new to me.
I just cashed out for a webcertificate at MyPoints and noticed at the top of the page a notice stating "The points for this category will be increasing effective Friday, May 31, 2002"
It did not say how much the increase will be.
I looked around a little bit more, and noticed the point value will be increasing for Chili's and Olive Garden gfit certs as well. I did not look at anything else, so I can't say what other catergories are increasing.

Thanks for that info. I had a little over 6000 points, so I went ahead and checked out for two webcerts.

I just cashed out this week. Future DH would probably been able to cash out next moth. At least we got one under the wire.

Thank you for posting this. I wish they'd let us know what the increase is, but I also cashed out what I could. I appreciate the heads up.

I'm so disappointed to hear this! :( :( :(

At least I made it to cash out before the increase. I just collected my WC the other day. I was pleasantly surprised because it only took about a week to get the webbie! :)

But at least mypoints let us know in advance about the increase and didn't spring it on us.

Wonder how much the increase will be?

This ticked me off. I've been saving massive amounts of points to get a big webcertificate to pay for my hotel room at Universal. So, instead, i just cashed out for a 75.00 web certificate - I may use that towards food gift certificates or I will call the hotel and tell them to apply it as a second down-payment.

I've already stockpiled a few Hard Rock gcs for the big trip. Can't wait!
