Anyone else get anxious when they are waiting to go home? We leave in 5 days with 2 of the 3 kiddies for 8 glorious days in a nice 2br at SSR. My nerves are shot, but in a good way? Naturally there is the worries of money, snow, delays.......Anyone else do this? Maybe we should start a therapy group for disnuts.....Imagine

Oh yes, you are not the only one. And we have been fortunate that we have done a cruise every year in conjunction with the DVC trip. So in addition to the travel worries (we always drive) I also worry about pre-boarding illness and something happening that we miss the ship!

But it is a good nervous!:goodvibes

I get the butterflies...but mine are from excitement! Honestly, it's like a first date or making your first DVC purchase! We aren't going again until April, and I can't wait. I hope we always feel this way. It's just a very special place for my husband, kids and me.

We have 2 days to go. We can not stay DVC this time since our contract did not go though in time.

Saturday for 7. Can't believe it's almost really here! Just waiting since April but this trip is different. First time at DVC and staying anywhere except a moderate.

I can't BELIEVE I'm this excited about going to Disney. We've been 12-15 times. It ain't like it's a total first. :lmao:

We are SO excited! Can ya tell? :rotfl2:

I have the opposite feeling as I get close to D- Day or is it V- Day ?

At the 5 day mark, I will have long done all the planning and preparation and the only thing left to do would be to pick up some incidentals to pack.

Usually, I'll have a sense of calm focus; sort of like a boxer or football player in preparation for the big fight/game coming up.

I know what you mean-it's almost like the excitement and the planning is way too much and then I feel a little let down because I know that in a few days I will be on my way to WDW and then what do I have to look forward to when we return home?? Is there a cure or will I always need some Mickey therapy??

About 15 days to go here. We're packing the day after Thanksgiving. One worry down when that's done. I'm bringing my father in law and best friend this trip in addition to my wife and son. Next worry will be the cab. Will it be on time? Will there be enough room for all of us? I'll be relieved when we're on the DME bus going to WDW.

I do have WL and VWL to look forward to, my old friends.

The planning is over and like Hitchcock, the shooting of the movie may seem secondary, but WL and VWL certainly peak my interest and desires to get this darn vacation going!
