I'm going to be getting 4 this week with the Michaels special here of $39.99. Other than the obvious "Mickey and Friends" which 3 would you recommend. I'm just starting out so the most bang for my buck.

Thanks!

I really like my Paper Dolls Dress Up and since Stretch your imagination has a number of things for each season and then some wedding, baby, and birthday things they are good. I have heard that Opposites attract is a good font cart if you are looking for fonts because it has a couple of very different style fonts to choose from.

I would recommend Cuttin Up for a font- it has 4 or 5 variations. Stretch Your Imagination or Doodlecharms are good ones for seasonal things.

I second the Paper Dolls, I use that alot. and not just for dolls. Pooh font has a couple of good fonts that i use. I stick with shape carts since i have SCAL for all the fonts i could ever want.

Oh and George &basic Shapes. if you can get one. that has all the basic shapes on it. its wonderful! but it doesnt come with the E.

I completely agree with the recommendations for Paper Dolls. Love that one. I second the Doodlecharms - I prefer it over Stretch Your Imagination, but have both. :) And for a font, I like Alphalicious. I think it's pretty.

Another recommendation for Paper Dolls. Even if you never use the dolls themselves (I've made dolls twice for LOs, and I love how they came out), there are SO many extras with it, and they are all great. I wish they would come out with a sequel to that cart. The newer carts don't seem to have as many extras anymore.

My favorite fonts have already been mentioned, Opposites Attract & Alphalicious. And of course, any Disney cart! I have Mickey & Friends, Mickey Font, and the 2 Princess ones. I've used these 4 carts more than any others I own.

Also have to go with Paper Dolls, My community and Stretch your Imagination
depending on what you need I like Mickey font for chunky letters and Cutting Up.

Another vote for PDDU ... you'll be amazed by all the extras on that cart. I love Mickey Font too. I basically bought my Cricut for all the Disney carts.
So ... what did you buy?

Stretch Your Imagination, Mickey & Friends, Celebrations, Animal Kingdom and the Christmas one, Joy of the Season? But I don't know if i am keeping them all. Seems like a bit much for a beginner but they were just such a good deal!

The Mickey Font is a great one! I love the chunky font and use it a lot...even on my non Disney stuff!

Keep all that you bought! The price was too good to pass up! I was a 'beginner' a year ago and now I have 40 cartridges with 2 on their way!
