I've lurked for too long and only posted a few times.
But my partner and I are SO excited about going to Disneyland this coming December 4-8th that we can hardly stand it. It will be the first time visiting either park during the holiday season. Everyone keeps telling us that it's one of the most amazing experiences.

No, no one has scared me away. :) Life just starts happening and it takes me away from things like forums.
This will actually be our 3rd trip this year. The first trip was kind of by accident. My ex was in San Diego working in February and invited me and a few of our friends up for the weekend so we went to DLR for one day. Despite the rain and cold, we had an incredible time. Was my best friends first time to Disneyland.
My current partner and I went for July 4th weekend. Five days at the park. Here's a slide show of only 200 of the 800 pics we took. I know, we're a little camera happy. http://www.flickr.com/photos/zeitzeuge/sets/72157606099826121/show/
We decided around October to exchange rings. No big ceremony. Just us two, exchanging rings as a sign of commitment to one another. Then we got the grand idea of doing it in front of the Castle, during Christmas, while it's snowing and "I'm dreaming of a whilte Christmas" is playing.
We're the biggest Disneydorks. Seriously.
Of course, he couldn't wait once we bought the rings. He had to start wearing them right away. I'll probably make him take it off so I can put it back on his finger on Friday night in front of the Castle.
Three times on one year. I need to enjoy this, because I'm sure we won't be able to do this every year.

Thanks for the great welcome everyone and I hope you enjoy the pictures. We do need to have the CM's take our picture for us more. We just seem to have mastered the whole, turn the camera around and shoot ourselves thing, that we forget to ask for help. Just what we need though, more pictures of us.

Thanks everyone! Y'all are so sweet.
I can't believe we're only 4 days now from hopping on the plane for Anaheim. I checked the weather and it's suppose to be 78 for the high and 49 for the low the entire time we're there. Perfect holiday weather. Only bad thing is my husbear has got the sniffles. Luckily, I think that is all that it is. A head cold. Hopefully he'll be getting over it by Thursday.
Funny thing yesterday, we realized that we hadn't called Camp Bow Wow to board our dog. In all the excitement of getting ready for the trip, we totally forgot about him.
I'm such a bad parent.

Hi Don! Yeah, we're kind of involved here in in the Bear community. Guess you would classify my hubby as a cub and me as.......some other member of the animal kingdom. Wolf?
Who knows. Just funny all the "animal" classifications we have. Still makes me giggle. For Halloween, four of us dressed up as "Tinkerbears".
We were quite the hit.

Thanks everyone, here at work we had a huge layoff on 11/20 and were in forced shutdown last week. Everyone is settling in post lay off, and all of a sudden I am laughing out loud :rotfl2: .
Yes, in cubeville everyone can hear for about 10 cubes in each direction, so THANKS Zietzeuge for the bears as Tinkerbelles, and everyone else for the comments that followed. You made my afternoon. Everyone still wonders what the heck I do as a Project Manager that makes me laugh out loud. It is usually reading the boards, but I tell them it was the go live date someone gave me for e project.
Thanks again, and keep it up.

I'm glad that the Tinkerbears have brought some laughter. Oh, and the threats of blackmail, but I kind of was waiting for that. ha.
As to where we got the fairy wings, doesn't EVERYBODY have a spare set in their closet? No? Hmm? Seriously?
We went to a local halloween store which had an entire fairy aisle. We felt right at home. Nothing like four grown men trying on wings. Then again, try trying on gogo boots with a bunch of girls buying slutty outfits for halloween.
