I had prepaid for breakfast in the castle, then ended up getting Free Dining, so I wanted to use dining credits instead.
I had asked here about getting the refund and was told to try calling Disney Dining. I called once and the CM assured me a credit would be issued and the card used as a hold only. Nothing happened on my credit card (checking online) for weeks. Called again and another CM tried and said if it didn't work to check back. I was tired of calling so I didn't call back when it didn't work.
At the castle last Friday I told them at check in that I still needed a refund. When I told the server I had tried to get a refund already, she smiled knowingly and said that was something they had to do right there. That was Friday and my credit is showing now. :banana:
So my point is, if you are in this situation, save your long distance $ and just wait till you get there! :thumbsup2
