We are here now and will be leaving on Tuesday.....we currently have 6 CS credits each, and already have TS meals set for tonight and Monday lunch and dinner.

So...I'm looking for some ideas to use up our CS credits as "to go" items. We're going to drive over to Grandma's house near Tampa for the holiday and then down to Ft Myers for the weekend, then we'll be back to WDW for 2 more weeks. So I'm thinking if we can get some food that would travel well we could take care of using up those credits and avoid having to buy food on the road.

I know I've read about some resorts/parks having items that travel better.....I just can't remember which ones or what they have. I found the allears menus to have references to "grab n go" items, but not details about what they are at each place.

Any suggestions? We will have an ice cooler with us to keep things like sandwiches with mayo safe.

Thanks!

I have read of others going to Earl of Sandwich at Downtown Disney to get sandwiches to go. I have eaten at Earl and it was one of the best meals I had. Just a suggestion.

I think most resorts have CS with a selection of grab & go sandwiches.
At WL their CS is Roaring Forks, they had amazing roast beef, turkey or ham sandwiches. They were HUGE, very good and on nice bread. Those would be good for the drive and lunch the next day.

Last year I got two pastries and a bottled drink at Main Street Bakery- Yum!

We were just there with family - my MIL went to Artist Palette (saratoga springs) and got a bunch of their flatbread pizzas so go. Somehow they packaged them up well enough that she was ok putting them in her luggage for the flight home.

The food court at ASMu has some great sandwiches and salads that can be to go and we have eaten them on the road home! Have fun.

I'd definitely go with sandwiches. Captain Cook's at the Poly has some good ones if that's convenient to where you'll be. Earl of Sandwich at DtD is another good choice. You can probably also find grab and go sandwiches at your resort though they're more 'generic' as far as choices go. You might consider a piece of fruit as your dessert, a rice krispy treat, or a cookie, something that will travel better than cake, for example. :goodvibes
