I would like to know also. Can this still be done? How do you address it and how early can it be sent? Thanks so much!:D

If you don't get an answer here I would call the resort. Make sure you get a name and you may want to call more than once to verify.

This past November, we shipped a package to the YC in care of a CM in trip planning through the concierge.

So it was possible to do it then. I was very greatfull especially right after 9/11.

We shipped a small box of film to POR during our last trip. Well, it wasn't that small. It was priority mail with 12 rolls of film in it (hey, nothing wrong with lots of photos).

Anyway, we got the addy of the resort, and wrote it up like this:

To:
Guest Name: Mr. X (Make sure you address it to the exact name that the ressie is under)
Arriving: January 13, 2002.
c/o: Port Orleans-Riverside
2201 Orleans Drive
Lake Buena Vista, Florida, 32830-1000, USA.

(I got the addy by visiting http://www.disney.ca/vacations/disneyworld/II/B/ then clicked on the name of the resort and it was at the bottom of the page)
We got it with no problems whatsoever. Hope this helps.

I plan to mail myself a package next week. The local Fed-Ex man told me it should get from Ga to Fl within 3 days. I have my posted note to remind me to call on next Tuesday for pick-up on Wednesday, we arrive at CBR on Sat.

WE CAN HARDLY WAIT. :p

I sent 100 pounds of Poland Spring water to myself at the Poly last August. I sent it UPS. Just make sure to put your confirmation number and arrival date somewhere on the box so when it gets there they know who you are and when you're coming.

The box was REALLY beat up though. Now I'm worried because I have to shipt my wedding dress down there in 3 months!

I shipped 2 boxs by UPS last month (film, water, wine, etc.)- I called the front desk and they gave the mailing address for the resort and told me to put my name and arrival date near the address. The problem was that they gave me the postal mailing address for Lake Buena Vista - UPS calls that area Kissimmee - my box got there a day late and UPS charged me $5 for the address correction!
