I was reading a thread earlier and realized that we don't have a thread dedicated to BWV lovers. Sooo... since I am a BWV owner, I thought it would be ok for me to start one.

Please tell everyone what you love about BWV and provide some favorite pics if you can. :)

I really, really love the water view. It's great to also be able to walk over to the Hess gas station for beer, condiments, etc. Love the close proximity to two parks. Here's the view from our last trip...

Count me in as a proud member of the BWV lovers club! I love the views (I'm officially spoiled by BW view and will not book another view while there), the location, and the theming.

If you're ever in NJ and see a Hyundai with a licence plate that says DVCBDWK, honk! It's me. :)

How can you NOT love BWV? The location is great, the theme is great, the clown pool is fun, the Boardwalk is a blast...........i could go on and on! I love that place! :love:

We just got back from a stay at SSR and kept saying the whole time we wish we were at BWV.

Boardwalk is our home and we love it! We have a Boardwalk view studio booked for before next years Member Cruise and a Boardwalk view one bedroom booked for after the cruise.

I didn't know the Hess gas station was within walking distance. How do you get there from BWV?

Leaving from the main entrance, walk straight down to the main road, passing the parking lot. Cross directly over to the other side of the street, then follow the paved road around to the gas station. Its not far at all, they have good beer prices, they have chips, snacks, bread, tuna fish, etc.

We also love the BW, but we aren't DVC members...Yet!:) And we would LOVE to buy at the BW. Does anyone know when the rooms will be renovated? We stayed in the BWInn and the rooms are completely different! I was shocked at the difference.

We just got back from a stay at SSR and kept saying the whole time we wish we were at BWV.

We did the same thing! Had to go over to BW on our vaca just to say "hi" to our home resort.

We're also BWV owners who just got back from a stay at SSR(last minute trip) and kept saying, If only we were at the Boardwalk...." especially after Illuminations when we had to walk past the International gateway to go wait for a bus back to SSR...oh, and leaving DHS too.... Soon we'll be splitting our stays between BWV and BLT--the best of both worlds--we'll almost never have to get on a bus!

I recognize that video!!! I LOVE it!! Whenever I wanted to be in my happy place and wish I was at BWV, I watch it. (wow - you guys are famous :worship: :rotfl2: ) I can't wait til my boardwalk view in 22 days!!! (Hope I can get an upper floor like you did - any way of requesting that if I'm renting points?)
