The Dasani Girl takes on the World...PREGNANT!! UPDATED!! 12/31 day 7

Hey everyone! I'm finally back to finish this thing. About time, huh?? Wonder if anyone is still even reading...

Day 3. Part 2

We got up from our nap around 6:30. It was MK EMH time!!! We got into the car and drove to the MK.

There's just something sooo magical about the MK at night. The atmosphere is different and I love the castle lit up.

When we got there Wishes was just about to start, so we found a spot near Casey's Corner to watch. I LOVE Wishes, it's my favorite! There's no pics though, I don't know why lol

After Wishes we headed to Pirates. No wait, woo hoo!

Now, everyone knows about the drop. Normally it doesn't bother me, but being pregnant I got a HUGE amount of butterflies for some reason. Brayden didn't move much after that, so I was afraid that it scared him. We didn't go on Pirates any more this trip lol.

Then we headed to the Haunted Mansion. It was a ten minute wait.

So after HM, we were hungry (probably I was hungry lol) so we went to Cosmic Ray's and got chicken nuggets. I LOVE this honey mustard that Disney has. SO good!

To let our food settle, we rode the TTA of course! Then we headed back around and got a Dole Whip. Well, Darren had a Dole Whip, I just got a vanilla. I wasn't in a pineapple-y mood.

After that, we saw this guy sweeping...Only he wasn't sweeping. He was drawing characters with a dust pan of water and a broom. It was so cool to watch! He was really good.

I finally beat him!! I found the robot that gives you 100,000. He was mad and kept saying I cheated lol. It felt good to win, I never do!

After all that butt whoopin, I was pretty tired so we decided to leave. We walked through the shops on the way out. We left at 12:30am, got to the room and went to bed.

Up next, our one and only day at Epcot!

January is low crowds compared to the summer lol. I think it was busier because of the buy 4/get 3 free deal.
It really wasn't so bad pregnant. I got tired easy, but my back hurts more now than it did when I was pregnant lol. It stunk not getting to ride much, but I just loved being there. I'd definitely do it again, and probably will someday!

January 19th, Monday. Day 4

Well, after the late night at MK, we slept in pretty late. Like, they were serving lunch in the food court late lol. So we went to get some lunch!

Then we headed to Epcot. This wasn't meant to be our only Epcot day, we just never made it back there for some reason.

We went straight to Spaceship Earth since it was the first ride. The wait was 5 minutes, but I'm pretty sure we walked right on.

Then we went on Nemo, which was no wait. That sigzaggy queue is crazy though. I can't imagine the wait time if THAT thing was filled up!

After the ride (in the biiiig blue world. Does that song stick in anyone else's head??) we looked around the aquariums.

After that we went to The Land. Soarin' had a ridiculous wait and no FP, so we skipped it. We went on the living with the land ride instead.

Then we found a nut cart and bought some glazed almonds

We were getting tired, so we headed back to the hotel. Darren fed his addiction for awhile

Then we got some breadsticks and a sundae in the food court before going to our room to rest.

So after relaxing in the room for a bit, we went to DHS. It was CROWDED. When we got there we went to TSM just to see the wait. 80 minutes, no thank you.
So we got a turkey leg and sat down and people watched for a bit.

Then we saw Mulch, Sweat, & Shears. Love these guys! They called up a kid from a tour group and he had a flag. The main guy started waving it around and the flag flew off its pole! It was so funny.

Let me just say that it's worth it to watch these guys just for the people walking by! At least on person in every group of people that passes will dance as they go by. It never fails. I love it.

It was just so crowded and we didn't feel like waiting in line, so we left the park. Our tram guide on this night was HILARIOUS. I loved him. I wish I would have recorded him, you could tell he really had fun at his job. They're usually so boring and stuff, but he was great.

So that's the end of day 4. Up next, DHS again. We FINALLY get to ride TSM! Will I defeat Darren like I did in Buzz?? Stick around!

haha thanks. You definitely need to check out MS&S. I looove them, we first saw them in 2006 I think, and we try to catch them every trip. They are so good. I just hope Disney doesn't do away with them like they did our acrobat guys in AK :sad2:

I just wanted to give my prayers to the guy that lost his life in the monorail accident and to all of those involved. So so so so sad. I can't even imagine what that must have been like for him and the witnesses. The poor kids especially. :sad1:

:rotfl: yeah it was confusing to me too at first. For the longest time I refused to use my FB but had an account but then MySpace started with those lame applications and really got annoying. You can control them better on FB so I switched which one I use more and fell in love with FB. To me (now that I know how to use it) it's easier and you can hide a lot more stuff.

:laughing: it's all good. I totally understand. MySpace is for sure the one stop shop for everything. FB really needs to make a blogging section. If they had that I'd be all set. But oh well. :rotfl: yeah it was confusing to me too at first. For the longest time I refused to use my FB but had an account but then MySpace started with those lame applications and really got annoying. You can control them better on FB so I switched which one I use more and fell in love with FB. To me (now that I know how to use it) it's easier and you can hide a lot more stuff.

My cousin's gf had her baby two weeks after I had Brayden. Everybody always says how fussy he is and how happy Brayden seems all of the time. Well, I found out yesterday that she only gives him 3 ounces of formula at a time. No wonder he's fussy, the poor baby is starving! And about an hour after that she gives him a bottle of water with caro syrup in it. No nutritional value at all. I feel so bad for him. If my baby cried like that I couldn't just let him cry knowing he was hungry. Her baby only weighs 11 pounds (Brayden weighs 18 lol)

I don't know how much Brayden eats at a time because he's breastfed, but his pediatrician said to feed him when he's hungry, and that he's very healthy.

Brayden is so cute! That is one of my favorite names too, although I am hoping when we get around to having another baby it will be another girl so I will never get to use Brayden, but I do love it. My DD had the earlier version of Brayden's Baby Einstein exersaucer, I recognize all the toys. They grow so fast, it seems like just yesterday she was in that exersaucer and now she is almost 3 1/2 and telling me how to spell her name and what our address is. Enjoy him everyday, it flies by!

Darren is a really good daddy. When he calls from work I put the phone to Brayden's ear and he talks to him. Brayden gets a real serious look on his face and then he smiles and squeals. It's so cute. I hope I'm a good mommy too!

I think her doctor must tell her to feed him like that, I have no idea. I saw my aunt yesterday and she said when she keeps him she feeds him baby cereal lol.

haha thanks! If chunky = healthy then we're doing alright! He's really long too though, so he'd be even bigger if he was a shorty like me! He fits in 0-3 month clothes width wise, he's just too long for them.

My husband's cousins all had babies the same year and they kept trying to pressure us into getting pregnant too. When they all found out the were having boys (5 boys in 2 years amongst the 4 of them) I told them I needed to sit this round out and wait until it was time for girls. :cutie: After I got pregnant with DD, 2 of the cousins ended up having girls within the next 2 years. Probably not that big of a coincidence but when we are all together and the boys are all the same age running around and the girls are all around the same age playing with dolls it is too cute.

My little one loved the blocks and the caterpillar on the exersaucer. And she loved the animal sounds.

This makes my heart hurt for that poor baby being so hungry - what kind of doctor would recommend that?!? 3 oz of formula isn't enough for a baby that age anymore - I think Alex was up past 4 oz by 2 months!

Well Brayden is super cute anyway, and looks very healthy and happy, so I think you're doing a good job. And you're right about slimming down when he starts crawling and walking. My DS was a little chunky the first couple months, but once he started crawling and then walking, now we can't keep weight on him - he is so skinny!

LOL I did put on baby weight though! It's just that I had gestational diabetes so I couldn't eat all of my junk food and Coke. I would have gained a lot more if I could eat what I wanted. I really hope I don't have GD for the next one, but then again I don't want to gain a bunch of weight either lol.

I know. I saw him Saturday night and he just screamed and screamed. I held him and he just felt so tense. I felt SO sorry for the poor little guy. :guilty:

Anyway, we headed to DHS and saw some people out front telling everyone to go see American Idol (it wasn't open yet, so this was interesting). I guess they were doing test runs.

Darren went to grab some FPs for Toy Story Mania while I sat at a table near AI. Man, the return time sucked, but what can you do?

Thanks Scott. Honestly, I don't know. They were probably still working things out, but it really feels like you're on the show. I think it's about 30 minutes long, so you should see it at least once to make your own opinion on it.

WOW it did look cold that night!!

We had a great time! I'm like you and your mission to beat Tim on TSM!! :rotfl: I doubt it will ever happen!

BTW, wish we were going in January at the same time. It would be fun to ride TSM with you and let Darren and Tim ride together to see who is better out of them! haha

January 21st. Wednesday. Day 6.

Woke up this morning and skipped breakfast. We wanted to get to T-Rex early so we didn't have to wait. We drove to DTD and it was COLD this day. FREEZING cold! But T-Rex was nice and toasty. We went inside and were seated right away.

We ordered our food. Darren got ribs and chicken and I got quesadillas.

We finished eating and looked around the gift shop. I got a magnet bottle opener.

We went straight to Festival of the Lion King because it would be starting soon. FINALLY I was going to get to see it after wanting to for so long! We were in the warthog section. Nice.

It was a really good show. I love the tumble monkeys, they're great.

We walked around some and headed to Expedition Everest. Darren wanted to see the wait time to see if he wanted to ride.

Expedition Everest was a 55 minute wait so Darren skipped it. We headed back to see It's Tough To Be A Bug. (This is a lot of walking for a pregnant woman! I don't see how I did it lol)

The show was cute, as always. We were pretty tired (and cold) so we headed back to the resort. Let me just say that driving is so much quicker than bus transportation. The tram picks you up right in front of the park so you don't have to walk a mile to the bus stop. I think we'll be driving to the parks from now on, especially now that we have Brayden.

We stopped and picked up food from the food court and went back to the room.

It really is good food! And I can't tell you where the Jenny boat is exactly. We were just driving along and I just happened to spot it. It's by Planet Hollywood, I know that much!

Thanks! I hope to get even better pics for our trip next month! You should totally try T-Rex, it's a lot of fun. While you're eating the dinos come to life, just like in Rainforest Cafe.

Sorry you couldn't get in T-Rex, I hope you're able to this trip. It's a lot of fun. There was NO ONE in there when we got there but by the time we left there was a line all the way outside.

We woke up and Darren went to get breakfast while I got dressed. He got a cinnamon bun and I got cereal.

We went to the store on Main Street that sells Mickey Ears and got Brayden's made.

I really wanted the one they had before that said "My first ear hat" but they started making these instead. They wouldn't even write it on there for us.

We walked to Aloha Isle and got ice cream. Darren got a Dole Whip but I wasn't in a pineappley mood so I got the orange one.

Then we walked to the train and got on by Splash Mountain.

I think we rode the train around twice. It was a nice relaxing ride.

We were getting hungry so we got off the train and went to Cosmic Rays.

I got chicken nuggets and Darren got a cheeseburger. No pics of it though. Inside was jam packed so we had to sit outside and eat, which wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't so cold!

We hopped on the TTA for a nice ride after lunch. I LOVE the TTA and I'm so disappointed to hear they changed the soundtrack. Boo!

Thanks Jen! Well guys, that pretty much wraps up the trip report. The next day we didn't do much, and I forgot my camera, so there's really not much to report!
