Kaylee, I'm sad to see that you're stepping down, though it must be hard work for moderators!
Just wanted to say that you were the main reason I started spending so much time here when I joined in 2003. You were so friendly and helpful, I never forget!

You have been mod on these boards for as long as I can remember and you and Karen were the ones that hunted me out all those years ago when I was a young fresh faced newbie posting over on the cruise boards and persueded me to come to the UK Community, so thank you for that:goodvibes
Good luck for the future and any new hobbies that you take on, and thank you from Mandy and myself for showing us the ropes when we first became mods and for being a great mod on here for the past 6 years, we will miss you:hug:

Six years crumbs where has all the time gone? I still think about Penny, Shirley and others whose names escape me right now. Mods of the past. Makes me feel old. Thanks for all your hard work.

Sorry to hear your stepping down Kaylee but good luck with what ever you do with all that extra time!
I've really settled here on these boards as they're so friendly and welcoming. I've tried others boards but have found them so clicky and can be quite mean.
Well done for helping make the UK community boards what they are! :thumbsup2

Sincere thanks for everything you've done for the UK forums over the years, Kaylee, and UK Community in particular. You've been unerringly committed in your duties and you can hang up your hat in the knowledge of a job well done. You've more than earned the right to take a back seat and it'll certainly free up some time for you to pursue other interests.

Sorry to hear this Kaylee - you've obviously thought long and hard about your decision and, whatever your reasons, I hope you will stick around and remain part of the UK Community (if for no other reason than you just know you don't want to miss out on the next girly weekend ;) )

sorry to hear your stepping down as a mod |kaylee, but glad you will still be around on the boards as well
well now that you have gone and also floridasun is no longer a mod- I for one would like to know how a mod has been chosen in the past?? i do hope the sensible thing will be done and that we get another mod if needed-democratically. I do feel very strongly that all us as part of a uk community forum -we should get to vote or have a say in who we would want as a mod on our forum, to me and possibly many others this is the fairest way of electing someone.

Sue is still a moderator ~ so there is no need for you to worry too much about finding another mod :)

sure she said she had stepped down, months ago..
anyway for future modsi do think the democratic way is the way to go, alot fairer and so evryones choice of eho they want.
none ofthis for my benefit, i personally couldnt/wouldnt be up to do the job!! you lot put loads of hours in and need more gold medals than the olympics!:worship:

Dear Kaylee,
Thanks for the many hours of work and care you've given to the DIS. You've helped make this the great forum it is. I can't wonder why--with your hands full taking care of a growing boy--you have to pass this responsibility on to others. I'm just amazed you've been able to serve these years since Joseph arrived. You deserve an extra thank you for that.
Now does this mean you've freed up some time to get started on your trip report? We'll be watching for it.
Love and hugs to Alan, Joseph, and You

Can't believe it's been 6 years!!
Even though I'm rarely around these days, I know you'll be sorely missed as you are a natural at moderating, and have done a fantastic job!
Congratulations on doing such a great job, and best wishes to you :)
